Sunburst Animal Hospital

On Friday, the day after Thanksgiving I had to lay my 14 y.o. Yellow lab down, after having broken the devastating news to my 8 y.o. son on his birthday. She wouldn’t be there when he returns to me the same day she was laid to rest. The staff was efficient, gentle, kind and caring as well as compassionate.
My heart was broken and they knew it. I stayed as long as I needed to say goodbye without being rushed out the door, “as if they had more important things to tend to”. They were amazing- empathetic, and more than accommodating. They checked on me more than once and offered to postpone the cost of her visit to offset the holidays for me and my son.
They have been by far the best VET practice I have been to in my 30+ years in life and would recommend them to any pet- all shapes, breeds and sizes

I wouldn’t go any place else. Dr. Stevens is the best! He has been our Vet for over 13 years. Dr. Stevens was so kind and compassionate when we had to say goodbye to our beloved 12 year old Tucker who had cancer early this year.
The Staff is pleasant and everyone loved our new puppy who has her first visit at Sunburst today.

We've been going there for years. All the vets are very kind and explain what's going on. Staff is also friendly. I fully trust them with my dog and know they are doing what's best.

Thanks to all of the hard working people at Sunburst for the attentiveness and kindness they have always shown our family. We’ve been through everything from routine care to multiple surgeries to the loss of our beloved dog and I’ve always found them to be fair, honest and caring. We love being a part of the Sunburst family!

This place has taken care of my animals longer than I have had children, my daughters are 23/25. I believe in Dr. Steven's and everyone in his office. When staff has stayed in one place for over 18yrs, you know something is right, if there is care for the staff that care filters through them and what their mission is while there- caring for our fur babies. The new building was a longtime coming. I love the new entrance and exit system from parking lot! Lots of new faces but they all are kind. Best Veterinarian I feel ever.

Dr. Porter is amazing and the staff is wonderful! I had to put my dog, Mac Daddy, to sleep last week and I picked up his ashes today. I was surprised when they brought his ashes to me in a lovely wooden box with a heart shaped dog tag with his name engraved on it. Thank you Dr. Porter and the staff, I appreciate all that you did for Mac Daddy and myself.

we love this vet his staff is wonderful and dr. Stevens really cares about the animals and is always there for us. it doesn't matter what time of the day or night it is he will get back to you he's taking care of all seven of our boxers at one time or another. all that vets in that office are wonderful

I have been bringing my dogs here for years. My daughter now takes her three furbies. Staff is great and they don’t break your wallet. Thank you staff for taking care a Lilly today.

Excellent knowledge and loving care to my animals. My 11 & 1/2 year old Weimariner had surgery 3 weeks ago to remove a very large fatty tumor about half the size of a cantaloupe. Dr. Stevens explained what he hoped would be a successful removal. Well I am thrilled to report our Samantha is doing excellent. The incision has healed beautifully. She galloped on her walk yesterday. Grateful to all the staff and the caring Dr's. You are all the best. Thank You

Dr Stevens has been our vet over 20 years and I have never experienced or heard of better care. He goes over and beyond for our pets and has made their lives drastically improved. Most of them have health problems and he always finds a way to make them feel better until their last days So thankful for Dr Stevens and his staff. Highly recommend!!

Just amazing. Dr. Stevens is very attentive and caring. He is compassionate and he took his time with my dog and I. I will always bring my dog back to Sunburst (hopefully i wont have to for awhile).
