Dr. Ham is so knowledgeable and comforting! We love her! She explains everything so well and makes sure I understand. She's just the best! The staff is always so nice! And Silas and Laurie were so calm and comfortable - they just laid down on the floor and rested while she filled me in on everything I needed to know!

We love Caldwell Mill Animal hospital. We brought our new puppy there. They loved on our lab-mix. She felt like a superstar. Thanks for treating Roo so well. Also your facility never smells and is clean and inviting!

The entire staff at Caldwell Mill Animal Clinic is exceptional. The veterinarians, vet techs, and doggy day care employees are all very knowledgeable and professional. They only hire the cream of the crop which is very important to me and my dogs, as I would accept nothing less. All the vets are great, but I will say Dr. Hamm is exceptional. Her passion for her work shines through the care she shows each and every animal.

Amazing team members across the board, the vets, the techs, the receptionist are all extremely kind and knowledgeable. My dogs always are excited to go see Dr. Martin and she truly takes care of them better than anyone ever could. I trust her fully and appreciate all that CMAC Does to go above and beyond to make pets and family members alike feel safe and comfortable.

I had been recommended here multiple times for my cat and I took my puppy here and they were great, so much so that I'm switching my cat over to have them as her vet! They were so kinda and gentle with my pup and made us feel extremely comfortable. By far one of the best vets I've been to for an amazing price!

Caldwell mill animal clinic served as a third opinion to us last year for my girl and I will confidently say their opinion is the last we'll ever need. The staff here is incredible, from front desk staff to the techs to the vets. Last night we needed an ear protector for my girl to keep her from developing a hematoma. Unfortunately they did not have any in stock but instead of sending us out empty handed they made a makeshift one with a shirt until we could get one of our own.

I truly appreciate how they make you feel like the only patient they have and spend lots of time answering questions and loving on our babies while we're there. Special shout-out to Whitney and Dr. Velotas! We appreciate you!

Caldwell Mill has always been there for us and our three German Shepherds. They are not only great at diagnosing and treating but also the whole staff genuinely cares! One of the Vets even prayed with me as we had to put down an elderly sick dog when she could tell how upset I was. I also like that they don't try to get you to pay for unnecessary expensive testing. Can't go wrong with Caldwell Mill Animal Clinic!

Everyone was very friendly! I brought my kitten in for her first vaccines and Dr. Jordan was great! He answered any questions or concerns I had and made sure I understood everything for her care. The vet assistant, Leigh Ann was so sweet and personable. You can tell everyone truly enjoys being there and doing what they do!

When I called to make a first appointment, the appointment manager was kind and helpful. Once arriving, I found the reception staff welcoming and professional. Dr. Velotas and his assistant were awesome! They listened and were clearly concerned about my dog's health. Dr. V spent so much time explaining the likely cause of my dog's health problem and his recommended treatment plan.

Although the hour was nearing closing time, Dr. V was entirely focused on taking care of us. I am very fortunate to have found Caldwell Mill Animal Clinic and this fine doctor, assistant, and staff.

Dr Ham and the male vet tech (I can't remember his name) were so kind and patient with my babies. Dr Ham stayed on the phone w me and made sure I understood all the different possible treatment options and side effects and explained the situations for both my babies. Very patient with me and my anxious babies and thorough with their exams and treatment

I have been with Caldwell Mill for many years. They are so caring, professional and best of all they treat ur fur babies with love. When I lost my first baby Sasha I thought I would die, they were absolutely wonderful. So thoughtful and caring it made it a little easier for me to deal with her death. Thank u Caldwell Mill for all u do to take care of our babies.

Dr. Sokol is great. He shows much concern & "feelings" for animals and that makes not only my pets but me too to feel at ease in his presence. He always smiles & has a bubbly personality. All vets at Caldwell are professionals & the staff are always nice.

We love Dr. Martin! She is so lovely with our boys and takes care of them as if they're her own. Can't recommend her and Caldwell enough!

We've been going to CMAC for close to 10 years. All of their staff are kind, caring, compassionate, and responsive, and the care they provide is extraordinarily affordable. The vets and vet techs there are all top notch. Many of the staff have been there for years. Anytime you call, they get you the answers you need to care for your beloved fur baby.

Even after hours, someone is always there for whatever you need. They went above and beyond when one of our dogs got cancer, and cared for her until the end. Words cannot express how much we appreciate everything they have done to care for our pets. We highly recommend CMAC.

All the above plus Dr Christenberry and his assistant were both very quick, thorough and efficient. Due to Covid his assistant came out to receive Rudy and brought him back then the Dr came out and explained his diagnosis and meds. His assistant brought out the meds and they were labeled but she made sure we understood. We were very pleased.

I have always thought of Caldwell as the most amazing place. For over 30 years I have driven to Caldwell. The past 2 visits have been very unpleasant. The receptionist is rude and demeaning. Snapping at me as well as others waiting to see the doctor. I was given a very hard time for coming in on my rescheduled time. I called and spoke with Anne. Anne verified new time and told me "thank you foe calling and drive carefully " When I arrived, I think her name is Brittany, tells me to sit and wait while she makes sure I can be seen!

After all "you are 15 minutes late and I don't think he can see you today, " I explained I called and spoke with Anne, Brittany again tells me to sit and wait while she verified my time. The last time Brittany made me wait an hour and a half because I did not call ahead for a prescription refill. I was told by dr. "No appointments needed, just stop by for prescription refill. " Another woman said she was very rude to her as well! Brittany appears and says I needed to either wait longer or go across the street and by mylanta as Caldwell is OUT.

I am in shock, why did you wait an hour and a half too tell me this and why not tell me it was mylanta when I came an hour and half ago? She glared and said "We are BUSYand you should have called!" Long story but ending even better, she finds a FUll bottle of mylanta and says this is $30.00 or go across the street and buy it yourself! I have special needs child and 2 dogs tired of waiting.

I said I will take this bottle. She tells me to wait, she is busy and can't take payment right now. I called to pay over the phone and I was put on HOLD, after 15 minutes I hung up. She did not return the call. I paid the $30.00 thinking she might be having a bad day, Second time just as rude. Life too short to be treated so badly. This person is not a good representative of this office, but I really am tired of the disrespect. I am looking at one of the 3 vets I pass to drive to Caldwell., someone should tell this girl her attitude is driving long term customers away.

Love this clinic! We brought our puppies in for their first check up and everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable.

So informative and helpful. This clinic is in a league of their own. They are always punctual, greet your pets by name when you walk in the door, and such a pretty atmosphere. They love your fur babies as much as you do.

Dr Sokel is so great with my dogs! My Maltese stopped being able to walk and so I called and was able to get him in that same day! Fearing the worst, Dr Sokel ran tests and x rays which turned out to be arthritis in his spine. I was given meds for him and now a few days later I have my dog back! During those days Caldwell Mill and Dr Sokel called everyday to check on him.

With all the patients they see it really made such an impression to see how much they truly care for your family member! I will forever be grateful for the level of care and attention me and my little Toby received!

Dr. Hamm is awesome! She takes time with our furry friend and is very thorough with her exams.

Don't take your pet here! You have been warned! Worst service I have ever received. They do services without telling you the charge until the bill has racked up, they are flea infested, and during a hair cut appointment they cut my dog and had to do stitches. Take your loved one somewhere else.

A service oriented veterinary clinic with excellence in medical and surgical care, grooming, boarding, doggie daycare. Great staff, knowledgeable and friendly. The pets love coming to Caldwell Mill Animal Clinic. well maybe not all the cats do. The best Vet service in town.

I've used Caldwell Mill for some time now for veterinary care and boarding. The staff is always super sweet and go out of their way to answer my questions and requests. I would definitely recommend this practice.

My only experience with Caldwell Mill Animal Clinic as been related to the Cavalier Rescue of Alabama group. That being said, the clinic staff and veterinarians have always been very nice and helpful. The clinic is consistently clean. They have separate entrances and sitting areas for dog and cat clients. They also have merchandise available including Birmingham's own Jazzy J collars, bow ties, and flower accessories.

I would say the main reason I think this place is so great is their commitment to helping the cavalier rescue group. The clinic and its staff have assisted in the intake and vetting of hundreds of cavaliers who desperately needed medical attention, and for that they deserve to be supported and celebrated.

So wonderful. The staff are so knowledgable and kind. They fit me in the day I called even when they were full for the day. They gave my dog special attention and worked hard to figure out what was causing his problems. I cannot say enough great things about this practice.
