At North Central Animal Hospital (NCAH), we know how important your pets are to you. That is why we promise to treat them like family, gently and with love. We provide them with a caring and comfortable environment while we take care of their medical, dental, and other needs. We are pleased to offer our exceptional veterinary services to owners of reptiles, dogs, birds, cats, small mammals, and many other exotic pets.
Dr. Hillary Frank graduated from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1992 and opened North Central Animal Hospital in Phoenix, AZ in 1995. She is active in the community and a member of numerous veterinary and civic organizations. Dr. Frank provides volunteer medical services and advanced orthopedic repairs for native and migratory birds (including raptors) to allow for successful reintroduction into the wild. As a general practitioner, she treats a variety of companion animals, including dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, ferrets, reptiles, and other exotics.
North Central Animal Hospital is excited to welcome Dr. Ivy Thomas, DVM, back to the practice. Dr. Thomas' impressive credentials and extensive clinical experience make her a valuable addition to the North Central Animal Hospital team. Dr. Thomas will be joining Dr. Hillary Frank, DVM, Diplomate ABVP (avian), at North Central Animal Hospital's North Phoenix clinic.

Yes!! I had to get my cat in on the same day. They fit me in at 8:30 the same morning. The curbside check-in was fast and easy. The tech met you outside on a grassy patch to accept your pet. My tech was Kristy. Very sweet tech & knowledgeable. They had to keep my cat all day. They communicated very well and made sure I knew what was going on and asked my permission before they administered any treatment. They even emailed a picture of my cat via email to me. When I picked up my pet the office manager made sure to give me all the instructions for my pets day home after her sedation, directions on her new diet etc. I would highlhy recomment NC Animal Hospital, PC.

First sigh of relief I've had in a week! The staff was amazing, the doctor was very knowledgeable (I've learned how important that is throughout all of this). I really felt like the heath of my dog came first...Absolutely no pressure or scare tactics used to do unnecessary things. Pricing was also a relief since this was the second place we've been to in a week.

I don't know how I get so lucky when true emergencies arise with my pets, but I was fortunate enough, through no planning of my own, to end up at North Central Animal Hospital with a newly acquired bird. The staff was so kind and knowledgeable and Dr. Frank was amazing with her honesty and kindness. Although my bird, Jerry, was very ill and the decision was mine, the staff and doctor made me feel my decision was best. I will continue to take my other animals to this clinic; in a heartbeat. Thank you Dr. Frank and staff at North Central.

I made an appointment for a Rabies Vaccination for our Lab and from the time we arrived we felt as if we had been part of their family of clients for years. We lost our Veterinarian a number of years ago when she moved out of state and have been Bouncing around all over the valley trying to find a great Veterinarian Practice. We feel that we've finally found the right fit. We've made a follow up appointment for June 2018 and their just 3 miles from our home. By the way they called the next morning to make sure our Lab was fine and had no reaction to the vaccination and if we had any concerns that they could address. That's the type of Veterinarian we've been searching for

Dr. Ivy & her techs were really kind to my dog. It wasn't a long wait & gave my dog Polar the best attention. Finding any vet on a Saturday for that low of a fee was surprising. They gave me cheaper alternatives on arthritis chews than what they offer and let me get his script to take elsewhere instead of forcing you to use their meds. Polar was really happy with the attention.
