Dr. Stearns continues to mentor Tammy and serves as a relief veterinarian for Cat Care when needed. The hospital is located in Fayetteville and provides exclusive care to feline and exotic pets. Our loving and dedicated staff is experienced in the health care of the feline, from kitten hood to seniors. Our clinic is designed to offer the ideal stress-free environment for our special patients to thrive.We provide daily appointments, drop off options and evening hours for our clients. We also offer preventative health care, comprehensive medical and surgical services, grooming, and boarding that allow us the ability to provide our clients, and patients the best possible customer service and veterinary care.

Melanie is the office manager at Cat Care. She has a degree in Criminal Justice. She has been working with animals since 2002. In her spare time she enjoys volunteering with various rescue groups and spending time with her daughter. She has two dogs (Chip and Petunia) and two cats (Tango and Squanto.)
Tammy is the Practice Owner and Medical Manager at Cat Care of Fayette. She has maintained nearly every position in the clinic since she was a young adult. Tammy graduated from Mercer University in 2016 with a degree in leadership and communications. She understands and appreciates each dynamic of the patients, clients, and staff of the animal hospital.

Great experience. I brought a kitten that we found under a car and couldn't keep it. (Allergy) We held on to her for about a week or two until she was better. The owner reached out to me and was able to assist in finding a home for her. I took her in and the front desk girl was very sweet and she loved cats very much, I can hear it in her tone. I'm was very pleased with the over all experience. I have never been in a cat doctors office before.

Today was our first trip to Cat Care of Fayetteville and it was an exceptionally day. Rune and Willow received such good care and so much love and attention. My girls were treated like little princesses. We will certainly be back to visit Dr. Tharpe, Mikaela and Curt. Thank you for such great care. You certainly impressed our Moma. If you have a cat or rodent, Cat Care of Fayette is where you need to go. You WILL NOT find a better vet around here. They have gone above and beyond for so many of our cats and rats and they care about your pets as much as you do. Tammie, the owner, is the best person in the world, Dr. Stearns is the most caring and knowledgeable vet I've ever met, and Sam, Randi, Becca and all the other staff are so incredibly nice and welcoming.
We will ALWAYS take our animals here and I'd be willing to drive hours and hours to come back if we ever move away - that's how good they are! Thank you Cat Care for everything. You've got a customer for life!

I took my cat Gracie there today for her first visit, it was a wonderful experience. I was walked through everything recommended for Gracie and all of my questions were answered with zero judgement. I felt like my little one was in extremely caring and loving hands. At the end they even sent her home with a bag of little gifts, a really thoughtful touch. I would recommend this vet clinic to everyone!

I came here for the first time earlier this month after of knowledge of this place for my senior bunny. Bunnies must have a bunny savvy vet and there are not many in Metro ATL. Sadly, my bunny had to be euthanized but the way Dr. Stearns and her staff cared for not only an animal, but also its humans. SUPERIOR care. Very nice and professional, they also offer 3rd party cremation services and I am just very pleased. They have really made a difficult time easier. Will definately be back with my other bunny! Thank you!

Selecting Cat Care of Fayette to take care of our sick cat definitely made this week a lot less stressful. The staff is amazing in every way. They are informative, kind, compassionate, and professional. We never had to contact them for updates on Buddy because they called us regularly. They took great care of our cat AND us. Yes, CoVid protocols were in place and we did have to wait some outside, but we were handled with professionalism and flexibility. We cannot recommend this clinic enough. This will now be the go-to vet for all three of our feline family members. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts!
