Best vet practice! We fully trust their judgement and are so grateful for Dr. Richards. Without her expertise, our older cat would've had a tough time beating mammory cancer. The last couple years, they have always been so accommodating with us. Dr. Richards has been so kind and understanding, and always advising us to make the best decision for our cats while also not breaking the bank. We love this place!

I've been taking my cats to Dover vet for over 30 years and five cats now. The doctors and staff treat everyone with care and respect and the patients like they are truly our kids. I had to say goodbye to three of my cats and the staff was there with me for every step making it much easier loosing my best friends. My new kittens received all the oohs and ahhs they needed to feel loved and trust. Everything is gone over before anything is done but bottom line is Dover Vet really cares about both the animals and their parents.

The staff was very pleasant and attentive. Dr. McCarthy was great. She took the time to review everything I need to have in order to get my sweet kitty over to Hawaii.

I brought my recent rescue dog to Dover Veterinary Hospital for concerns of allergies and an overall wellness check. Every single staff member was very kind and helpful. They got me an appointment that day! Dr. Richards is amazing. Kind, knowledgeable, and understanding. The facility is clean and comfortable. Most importantly they treated Mattie and I with such kindness. Thank you all so much!

Moved to the area in 2020 from Colorado. Started taking all three of our dogs here, and they are by far one of the best vets I've ever been too. Prices are reasonable and they do not try to up-sale you on frivolous things your pet doesn't need. Also, Dr. Rennie is absolutely amazing with our pets by far the best vet we've ever seen. They truly care about your pets. Highly recommend their practice!

Absolute best veterinarian office! Everyone is truly interested in animals. They are thorough and patient. The Vet actually listens to you and will discuss the situation, the treatment options, etc. I am sold on Dover Veterinary Hospital.

Dover Vet has been taking care of our pets for the past several years. The care and attention the staff has given our pets is always above and beyond. They are always professional and sincerely care about each pet. Dr. Spyridakis had us do a recheck for heartworms on our newly rescued pup and she ended up testing positive. We had her start the treatment process ASAP and so far so good. Grateful and thankful for staff at Dover Vet!

I would most certainly recommend Dover Vet Hospital to anyone in the area looking for a responsive and very supportive Vet. Our Swissy has some pretty good anxiety issues that we are working through and the patience that is shown every visit is outstanding. The focus is on making them comfortable and to feel that coming to the Vet is a visit and not a Doctor's Appointment.

I have been going to Dover Vet since 1998 and wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff from the Veterinarians to the tech's take such good care of both the animals and humans in a professional and caring manner. You can tell how much they all love their jobs. They have been there from the first few months as a puppy to their final days as a senior all with love, gentleness and kindness. I would highly recommend this hospital to one and all.

I feel so fortunate to have found Dover Vet Hospital. The entire staff - vets, techs, office assistants - are so kind, patient, helpful, and knowledgeable. They all went out of their way to help me through a recent emergency, and even when I've been there for routine visits, the level of care they give is above and beyond. I would recommend them unhesitatingly.

I have known Dr S since early 2015. She helped me with my boy, Happy, to the very end; even taking care of his remains until he came home for good. Dr S met and took care of Moemoe Happy (my very first rescue). Things changed, but not Dr S. Dr S was there to take care of Moemoe Happy's remain with the same love, care, and respect until he came home to me for good. There are no words to describe how grateful and appreciative I am of Dr S. Dr Lee Spyridakis has a heart of gold who really loves animals.

Always take good care of our pups. They offer reasonable solutions instead of just saying what we HAVE to do. Good at working with our other specialists too.

GO ANYWHERE ELSE! If you question them that they will no longer see your pet and they will stop doing business with you! They also push you to emergency veterinary Hospital if you have an aggressive dog and go out of their way to not see you and not make an appointment with you. Very unprofessional!

I have been through some crazy highs and lows with my rescue cat, Midna. Dr McCarthy and the staff of DVH have been absolutely amazing throughout every moment. Recently, my cat took very ill and needed to be referred to a 24 hour care facility. Dr McCarthy called me every day, even though Midna wasn't directly in her care at the time. I felt cared for and looked after, as well as my cat haha. The entire staff at DVH has shown such compassion, care, and professionalism in a truly turbulent time. I am forever indebted to their large hearts and caring hands.

Dr. Renny and her staff are terrific! So caring.in my opinion.the best in the area!

My cat Theo was diagnosed with diabetes this year and I've had to take a much more active role in his healthcare. Dover Vet Hospital has been absolutely amazing at facilitating this. I love that you can text them and they are super responsive. Dr. Spyridakis has been so attentive and knowledgeable! Everyone at Dover Vet Hospital treats Theo with respect and care (even when he doesn't return the favor). I recommend this vet to everyone, they are truly the best around.

These guys are super great. They always return my calls if they don't get to the phone. They helped my cat a lot with his urinary problems. Really cool folks.

Dr Josh gave sooo much of his time and you can tell he really cares. I appreciate how COVID safe and organized they were. I can't tell you how refreshing it was that they weren't out just to rack up a high vet bill. These are hard financial times for everyone. I'm not sure if they knew I was in a pinch, but they walked though the necessary things. that my fur baby absolutely needed and the things could wait. Honesty is hard to find.

It's as if most vets give unnecessary procedures to animals in order to cover their hide because of fear of lawsuits. I'm glad they are real and look in the best interest of not only fur babies but owner as well. Highly recommend!

Dover Veterinary is an excellent practice. Their vets are on the ball. Also, during social distancing, they come out to you in the parking lot to collect your pet. The vet comes out to talk to o you after exam. They also bring needed meds out to you. We've been taking our sweet kitty there for years. Now that she is a senior cat with serious health issues, their care and sensitivity is welcome. Only five stars because ten is not an option.

Every time I bring Mox here she whimpers in excitement to see all the great people here! While my cat Beamo is not as impressed at being at the vets but I know that he gets the best care when he is there!

First time visiting with my pup Cooper. The staff was so accommodating, so friendly and took great care of my pup. Highly recommend!

I would just like to take a minute and say thank you to Dover Veterinary Hospital. Today was hard for me. Going to pick up Aryan's ashes, I wasn't sure what to expect. They were the ONLY place that followed my. wishes while staying in my price range. When I got him back I was overcome with emotions, I was with so happy with what I got. It brought tears to my eyes.

The dignity and respect they treated my fur baby with was incredible and I will never forget that. He may have only been 6 lbs but they knew he was a huge part of our family and they treated him accordingly. It truly meant so much to me. Thank you

Dr. McCarthy was so kind & walked us through the evaluation & euthanasia process. Every effort was made to comfort both our cat and us during this process. We are so grateful.

I love love love dover veterinary hospital, McCarthy is such an amazing doctor all of my cats love her, specially my black cat. The staff there is amazing, very friendly, and the work area very clean. I definitely recommend dover veterinary hospital. I don't have anything negative to say about. The staff is fantastic!

They are so nice! They did an exam on my dog from head to toe. Explain everything as they go. Highly recommend.

I could not be more thrilled with Dover Veterinary Hospital and Dr. Spyridakis. We have a 5 year old pup that was diagnosed with liver disease when he was about 2 years old. He's had fairly frequent relapses for the last couple of years and prior vets were consistently treating his symptoms as just back pain even though we had relayed other symptoms that seemed to suggest something else might be going on.

We bought a house and needed a vet closer to our new home which turned out to be a blessing in disguise because we found Dr. Spyridakis. For the past several years we have had to change vets several times because of frequent moves and we have never met a vet that is as thorough and cares as much about getting our pup healthy as Dr. Spyridakis. She really does go above and beyond and it's such a great feeling to finally have someone we can trust oversee our dog's health and wellbeing. Thank you Dr. Spyridakis and Dover Veterinary Hospital for all that you do!

This is the best care you could ever seek for your pet. They sincerely care about you and your pet. Every member of the team is professional, caring and kind. We have been with them many many years and travel an hour happily to have them care for our dogs. We recently went through a sad time with our 13 year old Jack. Their heartfelt caring during this time was exceptional.

These guys were great with my ornery cat. The wellness checkup was thorough and reasonably priced. There was a little upselling involved but they were forthcoming about what was necessary and what wasn't.

Excellent doctors, vet techs & office staff. Very holistic. In our experience they don't recommend interventions unless really needed, and they review all options fully including price. We switched here from another practice in Portsmouth/Rye and there is definitely a difference (for the good) in quality of care. They are very knowledgable and truly care for our dog.

Even if it is more expensive (i'm not sure that it is though, but responding to the other review), I know that our dog is in great hands and feel confident in their care and recommendations. Recommend highly.
