Services
If you live in Broomfield or the surrounding area and need a trusted veterinarian to care for your pets - look no further. Your pets' health and wellbeing are very important to us, and we take every possible measure to work with you to give your animals the care they deserve. Laurel Veterinary Clinic is a full-service animal hospital and welcomes pet patients in need of medical, surgical, and dental care. Our veterinarians have years of experience treating serious conditions and offering regular pet preventative and wellness care.
Our wellness procedures are designed to prevent disease and prolong the lives of your pets. Preventative care should begin the day you welcome a new pet into your home. For puppies and kittens, we recommend beginning a vaccination series between six and eight weeks of age. While receiving appropriate vaccinations is important, the comprehensive physical examinations, intestinal parasite screenings and precautionary dewormings that are also administered during this series will help ensure your new family member is off to a happy, healthy start.
Pet vaccinations are important for all dogs and cats; even the ones that remain indoors most, if not all, of the time because they could still catch an airborne virus from outside at potty time or through an open window or door screen. More often than not, viruses are spread due to contact with other infected animals that are wild or whose owners did not elect to keep their pet vaccinations up to date.
The primary reason you should have your pet spayed or neutered early on is that female dogs and cats can begin their heat cycles as early as seven months and males can develop aggressive behaviors during puppyhood or kittenhood. After doing an exam on your pet, the doctor will present you with an estimate that goes over all the costs for the procedure.
Dental care is an important and often overlooked factor in keeping your pet healthy and happy. According to the American Veterinary Dental Society, 80% of dogs and 70% of cats show signs of oral disease by three years of age. Consistent home dental care and routine professional examinations can help prevent problems like bad breath or oral infections.

Dr. Gablehouse is amazing and hands down one of the best veterinarians I've ever had for my pets. She is knowledgeable medically and behaviorally, so she is aware of the most ethical and current standards in behavior and training. She makes an immense effort to keep my dog's visits low-stress, which is extremely important to me. I highly recommend going to see her at Laurel!

I have been taking my cat to Laurel Vet for a number of years now. I always know she is in great hands and I trust what they say and do is for the best interest of my cat. Shout out to Laura who was a wonderful help when I had an issue with a refill order. Laura was extremely helpful and resolved the issue immediately. Dr. Marschall is always great with communication and I appreciate all of the staff for taking care of my furr-baby

This establishment is truly exceptional! The staff exudes friendliness and approachability, while the doctors willingly share insights and offer referrals. Their commitment extends to follow-up emails brimming with valuable information, demonstrating a keen awareness of any concerns you may have regarding your dog's long-term health. The flexibility in scheduling is remarkable, and on two separate occasions, they went above and beyond to accommodate me on the very same Saturday, ensuring my puppy could attend training class. Remarkably, they extended this exceptional service to me as a new client. Overall, the experience is hassle-free, characterized by excellent care and service. I am genuinely delighted that I chose Laurel as my preferred veterinary clinic.

Didn't properly look through my dogs medical history and gave him 3 vaccines that he already had in september and wasn't due for another 3 years. DO NOT COME HERE if you are switching over to a new vet because they do not have appropriate/responsible procedures in place for checking medical records.

I took my newly adopted dog here and everyone was extremely friendly. He is a big dog and full of energy and all the staff were great with him. I also didn't feel at all rushed by the doctor, and had all my questions answered well. "Ruffles" left happy and feeling like he had a fun trip with me - he will be thrilled to go back next time.

New experience. I loved laurel's vet. I've been going here for almost a year and I've taken 6 animals here. I foster and they were my choice because I felt like they care. The moment I had an emergency they were rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. My cat sitter brought my 8 month old kitten in because it looked like she broke her back. I was 6 hours away and panicking over my poor baby who was clearly in pain.
As it turns out, if you walk in with a seriously injured cat, you get told "no appointment, no vet." Thanks Rebecca, you made a crisis 100 times worse with your blatant indifference. We weren't offered a referral, we were ignored while obviously terrified for my poor cat, and they wouldn't even look into the kennel to see if she had a broken spine.
It's unacceptable to shrug you shoulders at something like this. I will never return. I'm angry. When I tried to address the issue I was ignored and told "we didn't see your cat the other day." I'm aware you didn't see her because you told us to leave. Forget you Laurel's Vet. All you care about is money. You don't care about my animals' lives and I genuinely hope people see how terrible you are before they have an actual emergency.
Old review *** ***It's a bit pricier than most but well worth the money. They're very knowledgable and definitely care about your critters. All my foster animals have gone here****
