Ridgeview Veterinary Hospital

Everyone there is super competent, patient, and compassionate. I've been called well after normal hours just to check up on my ailing pet.

I already paid over $300 for my dogs visit. About a month later they sent me a bull for $53 more. I called to ask why since I paid in full. They said they forgot to charge for some tests I never agreed to. I told the lady I was not impressed and she told me I could go elsewhere. I said I certainly will!

I am so appreciative of the staff and vet at Ridge view. My dog had a large piece of rawhide stuck on his mouth and they got me in right away. They did a great job!

We are so grateful for the care we have received from Ridgeview Veterinary Hospital. The veterinarians and staff have been amazingly (and exceptionally) supportive, available, empathetic and skilled in the care of my dog. I highly recommend them!

We had a great experience at Ridgeview with our new puppy. The staff was great and patiently answered all of our questions. We were really happy with the care.

Let me start by saying that I am not a veterinarian and my comments come from previous experiences and not expertise on the subject. I took my cat into Animal Clinic of Los Alamos in June or July because he had blood in his urine. I have experienced this before with my cat and he was treated with liquid antibiotics without any problems by a vet in Los Lunas.

Before I came in they asked me to try and catch a urine sample which I did. They analyzed his urine, gave him a wellness check, and gave me different cat foods and calming pills (which essentially made my cat sleep all day) to provide for my cat. I asked about getting a liquid antibiotic and they refused. A few weeks after he was still peeing blood.

They asked me to bring him in for another wellness check and urine analysis (~$200) which I refused because the first visit didn't yield any positive results. Again I asked for liquid antibiotics and they refused, but offered me pills which I could not get my cat to take because they are very large pills. It is now November and my cat is still peeing blood.

I understand this issue flares up and is never %100 treated, but I never saw any improvement or gaps in bloody urine when i saw temporary results with the vet in Los Lunas. I was not pleased by the lack of results in my pet.

Ridgeview has been caring for our cats for 11 years. Alison, their vet tech, is amazing with cats! All of their doctors are so great, caring, professional. Cannot recommend this company highly enough!

Very nice that they put up with my dog who is hyper beyond words. Very sweet.

Dr Harwell completed a spay surgery on Cocoa today. She is very compassionate with all her patients and does an excellent job with explaining processes and procedures to the pet owners. Very professional and knowledgeable Veterinarian. I highly recommend her for all your pets needs.

I called the office (my dog is a patient) for an emergency appointment, was cut off before I could finish speaking. I was abruptly told to call an emergency vet in Santa Fe and they didn't have any appointments for a month. The office stated they would call me back, which did not happen. A year ago, this office prescribed medication to my cat without seeing her that resulted in her having to be put down two days later.

I am incredibly disappointed in the horrendous service my pets and I have received and will not be bringing my current or future pets back. I cannot in good conscience leave better than a 1 star review for this practice. They also haven't allowed reviews on their Facebook page for over a year - pretty telling, really.

I'm from Maine. They took me right in. It was an emergency. The Dr. was so good. Gave me my options & called me personally with test results. Was very thorough. Gabby doing well. I'm grateful. Glad to have them as my veterinarian!

I highly recommend Dr. Froggett and Dr. Williams (I'm sure all their vets are wonderful but these are the two I have worked with so far). Both have been caring, helpful and took the time to really listen when I had issues with my dogs and cats. Also compassionate when it came to end of life care for my older dog who had cancer.

Dr Yeager was awesome! She was knowledgeable and delicate when examining my cat and made him feel safe. She was thorough in explaining what was going on and was clear about the cost. I would definitely go back to her again.

Great care and very friendly! I had been in town about 2 weeks when my dog got sick and didn't have a vet in the area. They got us in same day despite being a new patient and staff was very thorough and knowledgeable :
