Greystone Pet Hospital was founded on Campbell Lane in Bowling Green in 1988 by Dr. Betty Stephenson. From one doctor and one assistant in November of that year to American Animal Hospital certification in 1993, to its current staff of four veterinarians and seventeen technicians, client services representatives and hospital/patient care people, Greystone has developed its reputation as a place where people who care deeply about their pets can go to get the kind of medical care that they want.
Because our pets can't tell us how they feel, a regular physical examination is a very important piece of your pet's health care. We recommend a complete nose-to-tail physical examination at least once a year, though more frequent exams are encouraged. A routine examination provides you and your veterinarian with the opportunity to develop a picture of your pet's overall health as well as to spot potential medical issues before they become serious health concerns.It's an opportunity for you to ask any important questions you may have about your pet's health, habits and daily care.
Dr. Paxton graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. He is also a proud 2002 graduate of Western Kentucky University where he majored in Biology. His professional interests are internal medicine, ultrasonography, and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Paxton has a chocolate lab named Champion (you may see him around the clinic) and a black and white cat named Phoebe.

My dog, Jolene, isn't the most pleasant patient to visit as she has high anxiety. She loathes nail trims but taking her to Greystone they ease the process for her. Everyone is so very friendly and reassuring throughout the visit. Dr. Price is amazing with Jolene and takes time to answer any questions I have and find a solutions before we leave. So grateful to have found this place.

They have always shown compassion not only toward my pet, but toward me as well. They answered all of my questions and checked up on my cat to make sure he was doing well. I've always appreciated that they're able to squeeze me into their already hectic schedule. I'll be keeping Dr. Paxton as my vet for my time in Bowling Green.

We have been clients of Greystone for almost 2 decades. Dr Stephenson is the absolute best! Dr. Paxton and Dr Price have also cared for my pets and are equally wonderful. All the technicians are great with my menagerie which include 2 obstinate American Bulldogs, barn cats, and a whiny setter. Everyone is professional, caring, and a joy to work with during regular visits and times of crisis.

All of the highly skilled vets at Greystone have taken the best care of my pets for years. They go above and beyond to save injured animals, as they did for Malachi several years ago when he was dragged behind a truck. My dogs are now seniors, still enjoying life, and I am grateful for the vet care they have received. Everyone, from the receptionist to the vet techs and vets themselves, are always friendly, courteous, and demonstrate that they have my pets' best interests at heart. Highest recommendation

I'm a new pet owner and I was referred to by the previous owner of my dog to the same place where she first received her puppy vaccines. Not only were we out in less than 30 minutes, the vet technicians and the vet himself were both professional and helpful when we came back for boosters. Safe to say as long as I live in Bowling Green, I'll be trusting my sweet girl in their very capable hands. Everyone was so friendly and very nice to my energetic puppy; that's all I could ask for!

Our dogs have been treated, vaccinated, and boarded at Greystone since 1998, and we won't go anywhere else. The knowledge and professionalism of doctors, techs and administrators have never failed us, through our dogs' lifetimes.
