My family has done business with Dr. Bass for many years when we had livestock, and I thought he was good. Fast forward to now I found a orphaned baby raccoon sitting beside his deceased mom in the pouring rain on the side of the road. It broke my heart, and so I brought him home with me to get him taken care of. All the rehabbers around are and have been at capacity for babies.
I contacted Dr. Bass's office to see if I could bring this poor baby in to get checked out and wormed along with shots it would need. Cindy sent me a very rude email and I mean RUDE email back telling me that they wouldn't see him. I even asked if they couldn't see him if they could point me in the direction of someone that could help. Nope nothing at all.
I don't think they should advertise that they CARE FOR ALL ANIMALS EVEN EXOTIC IF THEY DONT. I mean this is a baby that is maybe 4 weeks old and they can't help. Heck I'm the one paying for everything out of my pocket for a wild animal because I have a heart and compassion for all of God's creatures but humans are dwindling away on my list fast. You would think that if you were in the animal medical field and a animal needed help that you would help no matter what species it is. Do better veterinarians.

Our baby boy Stokley was dying so we took him to Dr. Bass, even though he's not the vet we use. They still came out to check on our baby, even though I knew he had past away. They performed an autopsy for us to figure out what happened. Stoka died from one of the silent killers Dr. Bass said, he was bleeding from his liver and we didn't know it. It hasn't made our loss any easier, but it's easier to know we didn't do anything wrong for our baby boy Stoka. RIP to our baby. Thank you for all that y'all did for us RLM Veterinary Services.

Not sure how i feel about this place, i was looking in my email box yesterday and realized i have a 85 dollar fee from them? I forgot i had a appointment but they told me they always call a day before to remind people and they didn't remind me, i work full time, go to college and i'm currently doing a internship I forget things when i have a lot going on, but what really blows my mind is how much they charged for missing a appointment, 85 bucks! that's more then the first appointment i had which was 70 lol Easy to say i won't be coming back, i think it's a bit ridiculous they charged so much, if you miss a appointment at a small animal practice it's 40 bucks.

The only good thing about them is that they know what they are doing. From what I've gathered, I could be wrong, they only have one doctor. I have no criticism for him, he knows what he is doing and has been very helpful and informative in all of my appointments. What I do not appreciate about it is that it's a business that will do what it can to get you to pay a little extra. Ive had multiple instances where they have charged me for services they did not tell me about nor did I ask for.
I had to get my ferret euthanized because he had lymphoma, so I chose to have him cremated. I later realized that I could have taken him to get cremated MYSELF to save money, but they did not tell me that, so I ended up paying an extra $300. So JUST to have my ferret on an IV and to be told it wasn't going to make it costed about $1,300, which may be on me because I chose to hold on to him but there were things on the bill that I was not informed about. They know that people don't typically have insurance to cover the expenses to care for their animals and they seem to take full advantage of that.
