Northside Animal Hospital is a full service hospital offering comprehensive care for your pet. Pets should not suffer needlessly. In addition to being uncomfortable, pets in pain take longer to heal. We take active steps to prevent, recognize and reduce pain and discomfort at every stage of care. Our dentistry procedures include tooth scaling, tooth polishing, dental charting, and oral examination, including periodontal evaluation. Treatment also includes anesthetic monitoring, pain management, and post-operative antibiotics.
To ensure that every pet receives the attention that they deserve, we see pets during scheduled appointments. Nonetheless, if you have an emergency during office hours we will be able to provide emergency medical care for your pet. It helps us prepare for your pet if you call ahead. If your pet experiences a medical emergency after hours, we recommend three emergency hospitals where your pet can receive emergency medical care.

We love Northside! Dr. Skarich and all the staff take the care of our furry family members seriously! We have had all kinds of appointments, from annual well visits, vaccines and our share of emergencies over the years, and we have always been treated with such warmth, caring and expertise. I especially appreciate the time they take to explain our options, and also the costs. We are a forever family with Northside!

I felt so welcomed into the clinic by the staff when my dog was sick and we needed an emergency appointment. The office is always so clean and the lobby is comfortable while we waited. It was so nice they had the capability to do X-rays and lab work quickly. Doctor Skarich was very understanding and patient in spending time talking with me about test results, treatment options, costs and what would be required for the various options.
He was very knowledgeable and supportive of whatever we decided would be the right path. I am so thankful of the care provided to me and my dog. Through it all she is happy to go to the vet office and so happy to see the doc and staff - which made me confident that they treated her well too.

Wow, I read a review that is similar to my experience, it read one of their longtime patient was sick and they wouldn't euthanize the pet until 10days went by, People do you want that to happen to your child in a sense? I brought a 10 year old bulldog in here for regular vaccines and they told me she was a bit aggressive towards other dogs, of course she was, she had a pup at home, but after that vaccination she never ate again, but I took her again after a day or two and doc himself said "don't worry we will figure it out" when they said come pick her up, they said we don't know what is wrong, that'll be 467$ I was telling a lady in the waiting room one day my experience and she must have told them I was badmouthing, so doc sent me a cowardly letter, we can no longer care for your animals.
It feels like if you ain't easy then you're gone. This is a place where prissy pets go and here lies, but they don't know, the few that speak back are kicked out, just remember doc, you are just a person to, and bad deeds won't always go unpunished

About 10 years ago our lab got hit by a car. We thought we were losing a part of our family. We brought her to this clinic and Dr and team worked miracles. They saved her and she is still here with us I went in for an apt for a new doggo today that we took in and just got reminded at how great this Dr and his team is. So much care, love and hard work goes into this clinic. You can tell they truly care and know what they are doing.
