At Companion Animal Hospital, we understand that your pet is part of your family. That is why we provide a safe and secure environment with people who will love and care for your pet as they would (and do) their own. You will feel at ease bringing your pet into our care because we are easy to talk to and we listen.
Our goal is to diagnose and treat the root cause of an issue early and when possible, avoid issues all together through discussion and proactive care. This is best for your pet, keeping them happy and healthy over the longest period of time possible. It is better for the client/owner because it is usually the most cost effective approach over the life of your pet. At Companion Animal Hospital we have a multitude of different tests and other diagnostic options here on site, available at a moment's notice.
The doctors and staff of the Companion Animal Hospital welcome new clients and long time friends with their special brand of high quality, compassionate care. Dr. Jennifer E. Kavran has been with Companion Animal Hospital since graduating from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005.

I'm very confident they are practicing somewhat high quality medicine, especially with the extremely competent and caring nursing staff, and perhaps limited resources, but overall disappointed in the business's lack of compassion and empathy for a fellow veterinary professional, let alone a previous ally/ colleague/ peer or whatever you want to call it. I unfortunately won't be back.

We received an email to rate the service provided to our 7.5 year old Old English Mastiff. We never received service for our Louie. They denied us service for him. We will not be returning. As the owner of an old very large dog who's health and mobility is failing-the lack of compassion for our 15 minutes of tardiness was unprofessional, not companion like, and completely unthoughtful.
This clinic may need to learn and feel empathy. It appears that money and time was more important than the well being of animals and their families. Loading a 170 pound immobile k9 was near impossible and took much more time than we could have imagined. Feeling sadness and loss for our beloved family dog, we needed understanding and support. This clinic provided none of this.
I'm sad, disappointed and am left frustrated. We will encourage our friends and family with animals to seek care elsewhere. Animal lovers want the very best for their pets.they (animals) are family not a dollar sign!

Everyone was super friendly and the place was clean. The prices on the other hand are significantly higher than anywhere around town. For instance this place charges $89 for the annual Lyme preventative vac. for dogs. I called 3 other places in the area and they all charged $39 for the exact same vaccination.
