Established in 1976, Countryside Veterinary has been providing quality care to pets for decades. Countryside is owned by Dr. Jerry Winters, D.V.M. and is run by a collective team of 6 doctors having over 90 years of experience in small animal practice.
We are seeking a full-time veterinarian to join our well-established team. We are located in Wenatchee, WA, the heart of the state at the base of the Cascade mountains. Our location is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts and offers a great jump-off point for trips to other major cities in the state. We offer a 4-day work week, no weekend hours, and come staffed with experienced team members that offer support, guidance, and a lively work environment.
Countryside Veterinary Clinic is a full service small animal hospital dedicated to providing quality health care for our patients. Whether your pet needs their annual wellness examination, vaccinations, dentistry, or surgery, your pet will always receive excellent care. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your pet healthy and feeling their best.
Our pet boarding facilities consist of three separate, climate-controlled areas. We have a large area of dog runs (25 separate kennels) on the lower level that is perfect for one or two large dogs, they are approximately 5 feet wide by 9 feet deep. In addition, upstairs we have cages available for smaller dogs.

I don't write bad reviews especially for my local businesses. But, this experience needs to be heard. Today will be the second time I have had a emergency and been pushed off because they are too busy. I guess I'm not too busy too watch my beloved pet suffer. Thank you for your great service of customer of close too 20 years

We appreciate everyone who works here! Everyone is so friendly, caring and thoughtful. Our pugs Rosebud and Hazel are always greeted with a warm welcome and sometimes a few giggles too! Dr. Plantz is awesome! There isn't enough space for me to express what a great vet she is. Thank you to all of you at Countryside!

I'm disgusted. Our vet misdiagnosed, i understand that. But I called at 730 in the dot when they opened and my dog was SUFFERING and I gave a detailed description and was BEGGING and didn't get a call back until 3:55 pm. 2 hours after we were able to get another vet to come to our house to put him down. I will never step foot in this place again.

We were at our previous vet for over 30 years, things changed and we had to move on. We found Countryside and I wish we would have made the change years ago. The kindness, genuine sincerity and respect is truly First Class! When it came time that we had to say goodbye to our beloved dog, they treated the situation with such love. Dr. Misty LeMoine showed such genuine compassion and kindness, it made a horrible situation a little more bearable.
Then a week later we received the sweetest condolence card with a paw print of our dogger that passed. This act of concern and kindness only cemented our love for this Veterinary Clinic. Our animals are part of the family, they far surpass just being a pet. Countryside acknowledges that in everything they do & in the way you and your furry family member is treated. They are the only place I would recommend.

We see Dr. Katy Schneider and we LOVE her! We originally left this clinic when our 1st vet moved practices and tried different clinics in the upper Valley closer to home and just was not happy with our experience. Dr. Schneider has worked with us in our fight with allergies and I am glad she is in our corner! Highly recommend Countryside. Staff is friendly and quick. The waiting room is well spaced and clean. 10 out of 10 all the way!

After taking our cats and other dog to this vet we will not go back nor ever recommend it. We got a puppy (mind you pure bread with vaccine records we had left at home and akc registered) they could not get him in for a month and a half for puppy shots then on the day of his appointment we had an emergency come up and could not make the appointment called explained and they said again the soonest was another month.
Given we have always gone there we wanted to be seen there so scheduled the appointment. He got a large bump on his front leg during the time of waiting for the second shot, we called every vet because they could not get us in and Cascade was able to. They were beyond nice and helpful. Said it was a hygroma that is common with large breed dogs like himself.
We paid for the urgent visit, his anti inflammatories and a brace. Fast forwarded to his appointment this week where my husband took him in to see Dr Schneider. My husband called me at work while there because he was being questioned on the vaccines that needed to be update what the large lump was and being treated as if we were not taking care of him.
I wish I could have recorded the conversation because not only was she rude, questioning everything while I was giving answers, but she showed a clear lack of customer service, genuine care, and any empathy to the fact we waited to get him in to their vet that is always short on appointments. She acted like we never took him to cascade, he's never had any vaccines, was quick to jump down our throats that he could die, and how we were so far in the wrong.
He has not gone to a park or anywhere because we are not stupid we know the importance of vaccines. I could not and still cannot believe the poor treatment at this facility. I told my husband to bring our pup home and I would call Cascade first thing in the morning, sure enough they got us an appointment within 6 days and couldn't believe all we dealt with at Countryside.
From talking with friends and coworkers about this we have not been the only ones to deal with their lack of care for pets and eagerness to make money. Do not bring your animals here, they can't help in an emergency, and can't even seem to do regular visits right.

I was in need of an emergency of a vet in avian specialist. They told me I had to make an appointment. I saw that they have an emergency number but when I called they told me that they couldn't see my conure. I guess they have an emergency number on their website for no Reason? Oh no I think they are on rotation and since its not their turn for emergency calls it's not their problem.
The receptionist was rude and not at all helpful, seemed like she was just trying to get rid of me. I see that someone responds to bad reviews and I just hope they can start treating pets with the same energy that they reply with. Today I sadly mourn the death of my buddy.

I used to love and respect this place. So much that I argued they were the best when I was adopting my puppy, but the place wouldn't adopt unless I agreed to take her elsewhere and was warned against my five other animals. I brushed it off, but I took my puppy to the other place like agreed on. That's when the issues started. I had one dog have a medical emergency back in September and Countryside said they were full and not taking any exceptions.
I took her to another Vet and she was fine after three injections. I forgave them still. A few week ago, another dog had an emergency and was literally bleeding all over my bathroom (as I'm crying) and they tell me they are booked and have no appts available. This time I can't forgive them because my dog would have died had I not gotten her to another vet immediately. I will never call them again and am going to transfer all my animals over to a vet that actually cares.

We love Countryside Veterinary Clinic and have been bringing ou fur babies here since we moved to Wenatchee a long, long time ago! Jerry and staff are one in a million - very kind, professional and knowledgeable, with a big heart for their patients. I have never questioned a diagnosis or doubted their ability to treat an ailment. Dr. LeMoine is our favorite and our pup's too. : She truly is wonderful! Thank You for all you do to keep our pets happy and healthy Countryside!

We got terrible news from countryside vet that our dog was sick with stage 4 kidney disease. We scrambled for any kind of treatment options available for our dog. The vet argued us, telling us dialysis for dogs was not a real thing, even though we had been on the phone with several dialysis technicians earlier that day. They also seemed very bothered whenever we called with questions for the vet. Ourr dog had also been suffering from neurological episodes for a few months, but whenever we took him into countryside, they just said "he didn't do that while he was here so we don't know what to tell you".
We ended up taking our dog to cascade vet for a second opinion and ultimately to put him down when it was time. Upon examining Sparky, the doctor at Cascade noticed the neurological episodes that we had been telling countryside about for months. I can't help but kick myself for not seeking a second opinion sooner, maybe my dog would be alive today.

Countryside Vet was able to get our Oliver in today! Haven't established a "normal" vet yet because he is overall a very healthy dog! Thank you to Dr. Mitchell! You were so warm and welcoming to our boy Oliver, his ear was driving him crazy and had to hurt pretty bad. Also, thank you for updating his shots and being such a caring Doctor. Something else to add, your techs were really nice too! The receptionists were also kind! Again, many thanks for an amazing visit and treatment!
