Be careful with your equipment purchases. These guys have trouble stocking replacement parts and are heavy on sales tactics. Customer service needs attention as well. We purchased the VetSpecs 6 lead ECG base model for diagnostic electrocardiograms and monitoring emergency cases. We felt the printouts were very helpful for detecting arrhythmias and we used them for Cardiologist evaluation.

We felt it was a great quick monitor for emergencies as well. Technical service had been very good in the past with KC Bishop. Last month we noticed the ECG leads that are used with this unit were broken where they attach to the ECG unit. We purchased the new leads less than a year ago and they are still under warranty. When we spoke with Mr Cassidy about purchasing a new set of leads, he said that the ECG leads were no longer available and tried to sell us a new model of Electrocardiogram that is not even available yet.

We asked to speak to Mr Bishop who has been so helpful in the past with technical issues and were told we "could not speak to him" in exactly those words and that we needed a sales agent. It is ridiculous to have to throw a way a piece of equipment that works so well because of a broken set of leads. This is not the first time we have had trouble with parts with VetSpecs.

We purchase a heating unit for surgery patients that needed new parts after 2 years of use and we were told parts are no longer available. It seems like a company that doesn't make something so simple as ECG leads for a product so recently produced and sold, could at least track down some used leads.
