I bring my puppy to Hills&Dales and have been more than happy with their care of my little lady both for routine and ill visits. All the staff are professional, caring, kind, and very competent. I recommend them to anyone looking for excellent vet care for their furry family members!

UPDATE: Another snarky response, folks! And also a lie.they pulled baby teeth without asking for our consent and then charged us. No, the cost wasn't the issue, it was that it was unethical. Ya'll do try to "upsell". Several other reviewers have the same exact complaints, so who is lying? Also, I have owned dogs my whole life and have never had to take a dog for an exam more than annually, and certainly never had a vet hold us hostage for heartworm medicine to force another office visit. Ya'll just want money, but you won't be getting anymore of ours! INITIAL REVIEW: We only chose this place, because it was so close to our house.

We quickly realized that this is the kind of veterinary clinic that tries to squeeze as much money out of their patients as possible. First visit, they kept trying to upsell over and over, which was a turnoff. Then they pulled baby teeth during our dog's neuter procedure without asking first, and also charged us for it, which was unethical. Then, we tried to get a simple 6 month supply of more heartworm medicine, and instead of approving it, they tried to force us to pay for another exam visit, even though our dog had an exam 6 months earlier, and wasn't due for any shots for another 6 months.

Adult dogs don't need to be examined more than once a year, and certainly not for something as simple (or should have been simple) like refilling heartworm medicine. We stated we wanted his records and will be finding a new vet, and they didn't care AT ALL about losing a patient. We will be going through the vet we use for our other dog (Evergreen), which may be further away, but well worth the drive! P.S. Just look at all the snarky responses from them on here, that they left to every negative review. That should tell you all you need to know.

This clinic gave me a huge scare. Told me my dog had cancer and it was going to be about $2500 for surgery. Went to another vet for a second opinion. Turned out it was just a hair follicle growth that is somewhat common. Still had to have them surgically removed. This cost $500 at the other vet. That price included the anesthesia and pain meds for his recovery. I will never take my pets here again.

I made a couple of appointments that I needed to cancel at the last minute due to life events one of them being going on a vacation with my grandmother whom has Parkinson's and is 88 years old. I let them know both times that I would need to cancel the appointments. No showing is when someone doesn't show up without notification. I have taken one of my other dogs to this place as well.

With that being the case, how many times do you have to take a pet or pets in to be considered out of the "new client" phase? A business does have the right to do what they want (in a sense), but a customer also has the right to find something better which is what I've done. Either way, not working with your customers isn't really a good sign and if a business is unable to accommodate the lives and schedules of those who keep those businesses in business, then maybe they should look into a different line of work

We've been regular clients for almost as long as this clinic has been open. They've stood by me through the loss of too many great pets and kept all my pets in excellent health. They are thorough, kind and considerate in all interactions. They go above and beyond to give the best service and care possible. Now that times are really hard with Covid concerns, they have found a way to continue to offer great service with curb-side drop off.

Even in the rain and inclement weather. That's what I call real dedication! All the staff and doctors are to be commended for their service and smiles. I simply would not go any place else for pet care! Pam C.

Hills and Dales has been great to us and our dogs for years! We are forever patients! Well checks, sick dogs, surgeries, and nurse appointments are always awesome. Our dogs love to go to the office. The staff and doctors are polite, caring, and thorough.

Hills and Dales Vet Clinic takes amazing care of our dog Archie. They always remember him when we come in. The doctors and assistants are always helpful and responsive to my questions and concerns. And they are very communicative about my dog's health when he has procedures done.

Doctor MacDonald is terrific. He is very thorough with Ernie. We have complete trust in him and his staff. We have patronized Hills and Dales Veterinary Clinic since they opened. They have seen many pets of ours. And have given them the best care. We appreciate them so much.

We absolutely love this place! When my mothers dog had a severe panic attack and ate puppy pads and a towel they were so compassionate and amazing. They knew my mother could not afford surgery at the time from just starting her new job. They found an alternative to help save money and to save me. Barkley. We then started taking our pup tinker bell because of that experience with my mother.

We cannot say vet or her favorite employee around her because she freaks out thinking she's going to see her best friend Chelsea! 5 stars all around! Amazing staff, clean, affordable. Definitely an amazing office. When our lizard was very sick we took her to another office who were awful to us but when I asked them if they knew another lizard vet they sent me to another amazing vets office! You guys rock

We just recently moved to Kettering with our senior cat and have had some surprises with her health lately. Dr. MacDonald has been great with her and has been really helpful to us. He is patient and takes his time to really figure out what's going on, and he clearly explains everything from test results to options. The rest of the staff are really kind and thoughtful - always call to follow up and are really great to interact with. Highly recommend this vet clinic, have been really happy with our choice so far.

I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate the care our Smokey gets here! He had a skin issue they cleared up fast and now they're helping us manage a more serious issue. The staff here loves their patients and it easy to see!
