June is National Microchip Month! According to statistics, one in three pets become lost at some point in their lives. As pet parents, we always want to keep our furry family members safe. Along with other precautions, microchipping your pet increases the chances of your pet being found if lost. Whether your pet is a youngster, a "senior citizen, " or any age in between, wellness examinations provide an excellent opportunity for us to conduct a thorough physical examination and develop a health profile for your pet.

Community Animal Hospital is the best place to take your pets to. My dog Rocco likes it there also you know how dogs don't want to go in not here my dog walks right in. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The doctor's care about your pets. If your dog is sick, hurt or just for a check up bring them there!

We recently decided to switch our vet we hadn't been happy for awhile but wanted to wait, we wanted to be able to actually go into the room with our dogs and meet the new doctor and staff. We made the right decision to switch to Community Animal Hospital and Dr Dugal. The front desk is very organized when we walked in they already had new files for our dogs, Dr Dugal is a very down to earth Veterinarian, he gave our dogs a Thorough examination went over the annual shot for heart worms along with their annual vaccine's, answered all our questions without making us feel rushed (unlike our other vet),o ur dogs were very comfortable with him and it was just a great experience.

Took my dog here for the 1st and last time. Don't get me wrong the Vet was amazing but my dog was a mess. After a very thorough exam, blood work and an xray. I had to say goodbye to my chihuahua of 15 years. Ironically, I feel, had Dr. Dugal been our vet from the beginning.maybe today could've been delayed. I'm broken and heartbroken. Anyone who's lost a pet understands.

We were so fortunate to land at Community Animal Hospital when we arrived in Royal Palm Beach as renters in December. Even though we purchased a home in Lake Worth, we are staying with Community Animal Hospital. The doctor is knowledgeable, kind and caring, and the same is true of the staff! It is truly a loving place for us and our doggies! They GET us and our animals!

Dr Dugal is very unprofessional and there is no communication. We came in for annual exam, stool sample check and blood check for heartworm that was it. 3 things. I was standing beside my dog when he was examining her. All of a sudden he brings out a needle and injects her. I said what did you do? He said rabies vaccine. I said she's allergic! all he said was she'll be fine and gave her a steroid.
He gave our dog a vaccine without our consent and without announcing he was going to give it. Had he sad something to us the owners we would have said no she's allergic. I was shocked and horrified at this vets behavior. If he had simply communicated what he was about to do we could have saved our dog a lot of pain and suffering. There was no remorse at his mistake and no apology. Our dog has almost recovered but still having issues. The worst vet I've ever been to and I'm still shaken from it.

If we could give this visit a 0, we would! This was THE most terrible visit we've ever had with any veterinarian. NEVER bring your dog to Dr Dugal! The front office and two vet techs we encountered were very nice. They comforted our dog and kept us informed of what they were going to do. This is our first encounter with Dr Dugal and he is, by far, the worst vet.
No introduction at all. He just swung the door open, cornered our dog and pulled her leash to drag her onto the examination table. When that didnt work, he left the room to grab a rope and put that around her neck and basically choked her to get her onto the table. When we told him to 'just let us know what you are trying to do, so we can help you', there was no response from him and he was just man handling our dog to perform his examination.
Extremely unprofessional and no kindness shown to our dog until he was giving her treats at the end of all the mishandling. We adopted our dog from a shelter 2 years ago and we've worked so hard over the past 2 years to help our dog be more comfortable with strangers. This one visit has set all of our efforts back. We are greatly disappointed with the service provided and will never be coming back to this clinic again.

Great place! Today was my second time at their office and just like the first time the experience was excellent. I had no appointment and needed to bring in my furry baby right away and with no hesitation I was told to come right in. Both times we had the same vet Dr. Palmeri and he was so sweet to my dog and very caring and so was his tech. Never have to wait long to see the Dr.or was there for a long time. The whole staff is fantastic and caring. I highly recommend this practice.

We have been going to Community Animal Hospital since our last generation of pets. Dr. Dugal and his very competent staff took care of our pets throughout the years they were with us. Our dog, Cookie, lived to be 17. Our cats, sisters Spice (18), Shadow (19), and their friend Snuggles (14) lived good long lives. The staff at CAH were with us to the end.
A couple of years later, we got our rescues Athena (currently 12), Maxie (currently 10), Harper (currently 8), and Dasher (currently 2) and continued our relationship with CAH. We are confident that our animals, two dogs and two cats, will be well cared for until the end of their lives as well. We highly recommend Community Animal Hospital to anyone looking to find a kind and caring facility for their pets.
