Bayview Animal Hospital

My 14 year old Pom got diagnosed with heart failure and he took a quick decline in health. Dr. Brian white was so understanding and soft. The whole staff was simply amazing and made me feel so welcome during this heart breaking moment in my life. Thank you bayview, and dr. White. I truly appreciate the time you took to explain everything to me.

My dog's ear was bothering him, and upon inspection, seemed infected. I live in Salt Lake and our regular primary care vet was completely full, so I called around to see if anyone could see my dog that day. Bay view in Layton was able to get us in that afternoon. Dr. White and all of the support staff were extremely helpful, and definitely love all dogs. We were in and out quickly with a topical medication for my dogs inner ear. Great experience.

Bayview is the best vet hospital in Utah. Dr. White and his staff are caring, smart, and just awesome all around. They make sure your furry friend is well taken care of and cares so much about them. Our pup has gone through a lot in her year and a half of life and Dr. White and his staff at Bayview have done a wonderful job of taking care of her and getting her the help she needs. Dr. White and Bayview, we love you!

We are not customers of theirs but, had an emergency with our dog and our regular vet couldn't be bothered to squeeze us in! So I called Bayview and explained the urgency and they were happy to get our dog in right away to see Dr. Noyes. From the moment we arrived to after Buddy's surgery (that same day) they were all fabulous! Explained our options, gave us time to make decisions and prices were reasonable too! We will be using Bayview Animal Hospital from now on and highly recommend!

We have taken all of our pets here for the past 5 months or so. We do not regret making the switch from our past office. The staff are very friendly. The vets are thorough and caring. They also hold open appointments daily specifically for emergency appointments without charging you for an ER visit. Which is so so helpful when needed. We will keep taking our babies here.

I had my dog neutered at Bayview. Everyone at reception was friendly and helpful. They were gentle and careful with my dog and showed me how to take care of him after his surgery. I have also called with questions and they have been happy to answer them, even saying to call if I needed anything else.

My husband and I foster rescued dachshunds for the Dachshund Rescue of Utah (DRUT). We drive from Sandy to Layton to get excellent care for the dogs we foster. We've taken several rescued dogs to Dr. Clavijo and Dr. White who have shown compassion for the dogs (and worried humans) and given careful consideration and care to the dogs. They always take time with us to answer our questions and make sure we understand what's going on with the dogs. The front desk is prompt and courteous and the vet techs are friendly and efficient. My sweet French bulldog was feeling so sick and couldn't stop shaking. I called over to Bayview and they got him in instantly ran bloodwork and gave him some electrolytes. Within one hour they had him feeling so much better. I have been so impressed with the doctors and technicians over there. So happy I switched from my other vet.

I never write reviews, but my experience here has been so wonderful I felt I must take the time. I just moved to the area recently and I have 3 cats. One is 20 years old and was losing a lot of weight, so I chose Bayview because it was close to my house. It was easy to get an appointment and we saw Dr. Crane. She diagnosed her with kidney failure, as is usually the case with older cats.

She recommended special food and subcutaneous fluid injections, since the water she was drinking was having a hard time being absorbed into her body. Dr. Crane was extremely professional and very kind. She explains everything to me and always makes sure all my questions are answered. I take Old Lady in a few times a week to get the injections because it's difficult for me to do them by myself at home.

I definitely tried, but Dr. Crane assured me they are always there for me if I need them, and always happy to help. It's easy to make appointments and the fantastic staff would even make time for me if I dropped in without one. I work full time and commute to work, so having that flexibility is so helpful. Old Lady is doing so much better. She's spunkier and we see more of her jumping on the couch to hang out with us, where as she slept most of the time before.

The staff knows her by name and always say "Hi Old Lady!" when we walk in, and frequently ask how she is doing. Everyone has been amazing, but her favorite tech is Brynlee. No one likes getting a shot, but Old Lady is so calm and doesn't even meow when she does it. She is so gentle and sweet to my fragile little baby, and always hangs out for a few minutes to say hi and pet her.

She mentioned she was thinking about us and was worried when she hadn't seen us in a while, but then was so happy when she saw us on the schedule. When the people who are taking care of your animals care about them as much as you do, there's nothing more you can ask for in my opinion. Took our husky in for a dental. Decent dental prices, but VERY busy at pick up time. Waited for nearly thirty minutes to pay and pick up the fluff. Staff also seemed flustered in the morning for drop off. We were looking to change vets for ease of travel and proximity. We brought in the shot records. An employee looked them over and handed them back without noting any dates or making copies for future use. Impressed with the cleaning, but not overall service. Will most likely keep looking for a new vet.

I live 20 minutes away but eagerly make the drive to this vet. My dog has been seen by several different veterinarians at this clinic and the care he receives is consistently excellent! Today he had to get his vaccines and a steroid shot for allergies and he was so nervous at first. But the vet and the tech both went out of their way to pet him down and give him treats until he was comfortable before they even started the exam.

My dog is the most important thing in my life, and having them take a couple extra minutes (even though they were busy!) to make sure he was calm really means a lot. I also feel like this clinic really values the pets they see, and don’t just see them as potential money to make. I’ve had this vet squeeze him in for emergencies in the past, but I’ve also had them tell me when symptoms he was experiencing weren’t serious enough to need to come in an pay for an office visit fee. (My dog doesn’t understand the difference between edible and non edible items so there have been a lot of worrying moments with him haha.) This vet will have my business as long as they’re open!!

I had a sick kitty a few weeks ago, and I had to call in as an emergency visit one night. Dr. White had us come in immediately. He took such great care of my sweet kitty. A couple days later my cat started acting up again. I called Dr. White in a panic, he had us come in right away again (another emergency visit). Dr. White is so caring for animals and their worried humans. I so appreciate all he has done for us! My kitty is doing so much better thanks to Dr. White!!

The staff here are so friendly. And the doctors have my highest praise. It doesn't matter which one we come in to see they are all amazing. I have been to many other vets with my 3 dogs and I never felt like they really cared or listened. I have been bringing my dogs here for a few years now and I won't ever change. A few years back my silly puppy had eaten things she shouldn't have and I rushed her in to have her stomach pumped.

I had called them just after they had closed and the doctor told me to bring her in that he would wait for us. They had to keep her over night but they called me several times to let me know how she was doing. Without a vet that genuinely cared about his patients and whom waited after hours for us to get there, my dog wouldn't be here.

Bayview is my favorite animal hospital ever! The entire staff is awesome. On a Saturday evening Dr. White left his family activity and meet me to see my Goldendoodle. She was diagnosed with an anaphylactic reaction, we will never know what she got into for sure but her rapid decline could have ended in tragedy. Dr. white administered an injection and was confident she would be okay.

But Dr. White keep us there for 15 minutes to observe her instead of just kicking us out to go back to his party. How awesome is that! By the time we left she was fine and I am so grateful for his personal approach. This is just one example of fantastic service I have experienced here. I have had interactions with all of the Doctors and everyone leaves you with the same warm positive feelings toward them. They are all my favorite!
