Overton Veterinary Services, LLC is proud to serve the Lexington NE area for everything pet related. Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by DVM's John Lawton, Eliot Linsenmeyer, Lance Kizer, Roy Gehrt, and Jared Walahoski, all are licensed, experienced Lexington veterinarians. I grew up in Grand Island NE and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1994 with a B.S. in Veterinary Science. I earned my D.V.M. from Kansas State University in 1998. I am Certified in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture and also Veterinary Chiropractic. I enjoy general mixed animal practice and the challenges of equine lameness.

I was traveling through Lexington, NE, with my 2 dogs, while on vacation. During the night, one of my dogs became ill. She has some other health issues that could've caused this sudden illness and she needed to be checked out as soon as possible. I found Overton Vet Service through an internet search and saw that they were highly rated. I got to Overton Vet Service just after they opened @ 8AM.
I explained my pets history and what was currently happening and they took me right in. Dr. Jessica listened to all of the details and took my dog to get a couple of x-rays. Thankfully everything was OK on the x-rays and nothing serious was found. Dr. Jessica prescribed some meds and a special diet for the next few days, and my dog should be fine.
While Dr. Jessica was getting the x-rays, I found a tick attached to my other dog. I was unable to remove it and showed Dr. Jessica when she returned with the x-rays. She took my other dog and removed the tick for me, at no charge. I'm very pleased and grateful that Overton Vet Service was able to get my dog checked out so quickly and without having an appointment. The staff at Overton Vet Service have definitely earned their high reviews/rating.

Really happy I found a good help and solution of the issue of my baby girl after I expend all night looking everywhere in Nebraska for a vet willing to help my little ferret taking the challenge of the risk of save her life.
