We have been coming here for 7 years. We even moved 50 miles away and make the trip. Really seems to have changed. Dont return calls anymore on serious issues. After our newest member at 8 months ago got really sick after her first rabies shot. And other issues and left a message last week for vet to call. No call. Really not happy. Think we will be rethinking traveling back to to Sioux Nation again

This is about the SN Ag Center in Viborg, SD. Took a cat in to them with failure to pass urine. They catheterized him, and sent him home. Later that night, we rushed him to an emergency vet clinic in Sioux Falls. They said his urethra was torn from bad catheterizing, he was nearly dead. He had to stay there for 10 days. It cost a thousand dollars. Took a kitten to them that was off his feed.
They said upper respiratory infection, sent him home. 3 days later, a vet in Yankton diagnosed him with feline leukemia. Had to bring in all other cats for shots, as the kitten was actively shedding cells by then, exposing everybody. Cost, $200. Kitten was dead a week later. Took a cat to them with a swelling in her mouth. They said abscess, sent me home with antibiotics. 2 weeks later, no improvement, took her to a vet in Beresford. Diagnosis; cancerous bony tumor on the lower jaw. Euthanized, but needlessly suffered for the 2 weeks before. They may be good with large animals, but do NOT take your small animals there. Not if you love them.
