Dr. John Brunner dreamed of one day owning a veterinary hospital and naming it Noah's Friends. In 2003 that dream became a reality. Here is how it came to be. The brand new doctor came to Murfreesboro, TN in 1991 to complete his externship and decided to make this area his home. For twelve years he honed his skills working with companion animals (primarily dogs and cats) and farm animals (mostly horses, cows and goats). During this time Dr. Brunner settled down, married Melinda Hutchinson, and became the father of three precious sons.

There is an alternative way to treat some common ailments rather than by medications. The result can be the same, but without some side effects; and can even provide immediate relief in some cases. This technology employs laser light used at very specific power, wavelengths and frequencies over lesions and injuries to help block transmission of pain responses to the brain and to accelerate healing in tissues.
Have you ever had a mosquito bite? You probably spray yourself with a mosquito repellent when you go outside for a period of time and especially at dusk when mosquitoes are very active. But what about when you just dash outside to get the mail or the paper? Do you think about protecting yourself then?
Who is affected? Everyone! But especially vulnerable are people with weakened immune systems due to illness, disease or age (the very old or the very young). It's alarmingly easy to consume parasite eggs. The eggs are very tiny and can easily become airborne during any activity such as digging in the soil.

having been here since the '70s and having quite a few pets we have been to quite a few veterinarians. we are now on our third and fourth pets that Noah's friends has taken care of. we love the care and attention that Noah's friends gives our pets. their customer service is exemplary and everyone that works there is an absolute pleasure to work with. their compassion for animals is over the top. Even during those hard decisions they have been so thoughtful and caring. would absolutely recommend them.

This place is a wonderful vet clinic. The staff are super sweet and will do everything they can for you to help and treat your animals. Dr. Brunner is extremely caring and knowledgeable and you never feel like he recommended you something you don't need. The prices are reasonable too. I love this place and highly recommend it.

I was sent to Noah's Friends by another small animal vet who doesn't treat birds. The two women at the counter informed me they stopped treating "farm animals" two years ago. I had one of my super pet hens in my arms. Something attacked her, breaking a leg and tearing off a toe. My Chickens are part of my Airbnb animal experience and come running and eat out of guest's hands when they are called.
There are 12 hens, they lay eggs for our guests and they earn their keep. I would have been glad to pay whatever it took for a vet to set the leg and give the hen pain meds and antibiotics. After being sent away I went to the feed store with the bleeding hen in my arms and got more help there than from the two vet offices. I took the hen home, cleaned and set the broken leg and bandaged her missing toe injury.
I guess maybe Noah only had dogs and cats on the ark? But then the bible quote on the wall says that Men who care for animals are blessed. I guess God forget the women who are kind to animals and Noah's Friends did tool Not a great experience and not very kind staff.
