Coming from another vet because the groomer no longer was there, I came across shore vet in April 2021. I have a long hair, 14 y/o cat who requires sedation to be groomed. Told he would need bloodwork because he was a new patient and because of his age. Great, no problem. Dr. D actually did a great job on a shave down. With everything it cost $365. which I thought was reasonable. Made an appointment for today 11/22/21 and was told by the "groomer" Lauren, it would cost $800!
According to her, dr. D "didn't charge me correctly back in April" she would be using a different type of medication for sedation, oh. And he needed blood work AGAIN! Because they do that every 6 months. Yea, ok.and that'll all cost $800! I politely told her she should be ashamed of herself to charge patients that kind of money for a groom. The price almost tripled in 6 months. I hope no one goes there for grooming! What a disgrace, Lauren, to call yourself a "groomer".

We were on vacation at the Jersey shore when our dachshund's back caused her to lose the use of her back legs. I called Shore Veterinarians and they were able to get us in right away. Dr Blose & Lauren, the vet tech, were wonderful. They were friendly, concerned, and sympathetic. After the exam, Dr Blose explained our dog's condition fully and presented our options: surgery (by referral) or treatment by medication (iffy & could affect surgery outcome).
We have gone through this before so we went with the medical approach. The doctor explained what to watch out for and told me to call with any concerns. The next day someone called to see how she was doing and I was pleased to be able to say she was improving. Our bill was very reasonable and the care our dog received couldn't have been better. I highly recommend this vet practice and would use them again.

This year we brought our dog with us for vacation. For some activities, you just can't bring your dog. We used Shore Veterinarians for day time boarding for our 9 yr old pitbull/terrier mix. I was able to make reservations ahead of time and also with short notice, they were very flexible and the cost was very reasonable!

We are from North Western NJ and we vacation each year in Sea Isle. We have been bringing our dogs for the last 22 years to be boarded daily at Shore Veterinarian in Seaville. We have noted that the staff are always friendly and professional. The kennel staff seem experienced and our dog(s) have been well cared for by this staff. We have no worries when we leave them, and the dogs never seem stressed or unhappy.
My only suggestion for change for this year is the new, shortened hours of business due to Covid 19. We used to drop our dogs off at 9 a.m. each day, and now the facility is not open on some days until 10 a.m., which delays our plans when we want an earlier start. Any chance that during the summer months you guys could open at 9 each morning? I know I'm pushing it, but also a full day Saturday, instead of only until 1 p.m.? These expanded hours would align more with out of town vacationer clients like ourselves. Thank you, you guys are wonderful!

I bring Zeke, my Shiba Inu, all the way to Shore Veterinarians in Seaville because they are the best vets in the area. Their team is friendly and professional, but most importantly they do a VERY thorough job and make sure that every pet gets the very best care, and everything that they need. They have given Zeke medical care since 2008. Thank you Shore Veterinarians!
