There have been some new regulations about our operations from the Maryland Veterinary Board. Green Valley Animal Hospital is allowing all Wellness Examination appointments, as well as general workups such as technician visits (nail trims, anal gland expressions, vaccinations, etc). We are accepting all Grooming, Boarding, and Half/Full Day Camp requests.We would like to prepare all clients that we are still scheduling about 2 - 3 weeks out for most procedures. We are continuing to take precautions as a hospital as much as possible to ensure the safety of staff and clientele.

With always having a passion for animals and caring for them, she started at the hospital as a kennel technician to learn more about the field. Sara quickly learned that this career is her passion and she loves every minute of it. In Sara's free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
As a new client of our Animal Hospital in Ijamsville, you can expect our full attention to your pets' needs. When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, and we'll usher you into an examination room after checking in your pet. In most cases, one of our veterinary technicians will start by asking about your pet's medical history, current condition and the reason for your visit, gathering data for the doctor.

Very good place. Been going for years and they really care about my dog. They also listen. My dog is old and has issues. But when an x-ray was suggested, but I felt there was no need to stress my dog and that any new info wouldn't change how we are treating her, Dr Z. had no issues not doing it. We have recommended this animal hospital in the past and will do so going forward.

The staff at Green Valley Animal Hospital is great, and the veterinarians there are excellent. They will recommend appropriate treatments (not excessive things); I've always been pleased by my service here. EDIT TO ADD: I CONTINUE to be impressed with GVAH vets and staff. 2020 COVID precautions and shut downs have causes so much stress. They continue to provide TOP NOTCH service at extremely reasonable costs. The vets are knowledgeable and the staff is friendly and helpful. I am so glad to have found this clinic for my pets care

First and only time we will ever go here. After waiting 90 minutes in our car for someone to come get our dog, the "temp" vet took a look at her. Stated our dog needed surgery near her eye but wasn't able to look closely because she was clearly afraid of our dog. We found another vet who gave us cream for our dogs infected eye, which has since resolved.
The vet was NOT afraid of our sweet dog, and unlike Green Valley, charged a reasonable amount. Save yourself the trouble and go to Prospect Veterinary Clinic. What a great veterinarian! P.S. Green Valley called twice to see if we wanted to move ahead with the surgery.

Panda headed back for a checkup with Dr. Laura after her spay. We breed Great Pyrenees as working dogs for local farms and families and Dr. Laura and her crew at GVAH have always taken excellent care of our pack. I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate the role she plays in our community. Despite heading a busy vetrinary practice, she somehow manages to find time to visit local schools and give Cub and Girl Scout groups tours of her facility. Thanks Dr. Warden for all you do for our pets and families!
