I can't say enough good things about this clinic and staff! They have cared for my cats for many years. They recently diagnosed one of my fur babies with hyperthyroidism. The vet called me and explained everything in detail, including all treatment options. Really calmed my fears! Everyone from the techs to the docs are truly caring, professional, and friendly.

I want to thank everyone at Ypsi Animal Clinic for the years of care that they provided my beloved dog, Elvis. I have never received more genuine loving care or professionalism from any other veterinary clinic that I have been to and I used to work for the Michigan Humane Society. Special shout out to Connie, Paige, Melanie, Jean, Laura and of course, Dr. Kalicki and Dr. Kunoff.
They helped making his passing a beautiful one and I am so pleased with the cremation and the lovely condolences card that they sent and hand signed. It really meant a lot. Thank you all so very much.

I would give zero stars if possible. I brought my grandma's dog here a few years ago and loved the doctor (a male doctor, I forget his name). So when I got my own puppy a few weeks ago, I thought I would bring her here. Big mistake. The doctor was not the same, this was a woman, Kalicki I think. After not being allowed inside, even though my puppy had never been here and they knew nothing of her history or what shots were needed today, the doctor called me and proceeded to talk to me like I was her child.
The shots she was supposed to receive were miscommunicated, which is the problem with dropping your dog off at the door- lack of communication. That doctor is a sorry excuse for a vet and I would never take another animal there. It was totally uncalled for and uncomfortable. I don't know what made her think she had the right to be so rude and disrespectful, but I left without having anything done and already have an appointment elsewhere. Horrible place horrible doctor. Shame on HER.

We LOVE the Ypsilanti Animal Clinic! I have referred at least 3 personal friends there and anytime I see inquiries for vets on Facebook. I went to them because my dog almost lost her eye due to negligence at the Huron Valley Humane Society vets office and the Ypsilanti Animal clinic had great reviews, they have lived up to their online reviews! The vet techs remember your pets and are so nice.
The Vets are so good with my young, hyper pittie and my senior pittie. Whenever something pops up in terms of an illness or injury they explain very well what is going on and what our treatment options are. Also when our first dog passed they sent us the most heartwarming card. These people really care!

Took my sweet peaches here for a wellness visit & to get some sedatives right before we moved. she hates car rides and really dislikes the vet but she went so easily and calmly with the vet techs. she didn't want to leave the vet techs little crate and that's even after she had her nails trimmed. then my car died and the staff was so helpful while I waited for a tow truck. they offered me snacks and water. one of the doctors actually had jumper cables and tried to help me start my car!
I've never been to such a compassionate and caring vet clinic for my cat OR myself. I really wish we weren't moving, since after this experience my vet standards are going to be far too high for anyone else to compare.

I brought both of my cats here on August 21st for an exam and pre-dental bloodwork. The staff and veterinarian were all extremely friendly and helpful. My cats are both scheduled for their dental cleanings at the end of this month. I know that they are both going to be in great hands. Cristy was the staff member that assisted me through everything and even gave me a few suggestions for helping my cats with anxiety (since we are going to be moving soon into a house where there are going to be two other cats). She was a complete joy to talk to. The prices are also very reasonable. I can't believe I didn't take my cats here sooner. Ypsilanti Animal Clinic is a great place!

have been going to Ypsilanti Animal Clinic for 30 years now, Dr. Glencer and now Dr Kunoff have seen many of my fine companions over the decades. They are friendly, compassionate, honest and costs are very reasonable. I continue to have Dr Kunoff and the team there care form my 2 pups as well as my significant others 2 pups. They provide full service cares for your friends, and they genuinely care for them...

The team at Ypsilanti Animal Clinic is exactly the kind of team I was hoping to find for my cats. They were responsive, kind, totally focused on my cats and their health, and exuded warmth, knowledge, and the appropriate sense of urgency. After an experience in Ann Arbor last year, where it felt like the vet had a sales system and cared more about money than my pets, I was VERY, VERY happy to find a vet that puts animals first and is warm in their communication.
They also prescribed the right treatment for my older cat, who in three days is more comfortable than she's been in two years! I've found my new vet! (Pic - Sophie feeling SO much better)

This is the first time I've done a review. I had to rave about this vet! Due to COVID, I haven't been able to meet the doctor, but I am happy with their services. My lab toast was spayed there yesterday, she has been back on her feet in less than 24 hours. Beautiful job! I was so worried, but these guys are awesome! Reasonable pricing as well. Thanks to all the staff and doctors, you do a wonderful job taking care of my fur babes

After coming from a less than great experience with an Ann Arbor animal clinic (they called my cat a "craigslist Kitty") I came here, wish I did sooner. I love the team here! Got my kitty her boosters and she was treated with so much love and respect. I'm so relieved I've found a vet that is so amazing:)

I love the entire staff at Ypsilanti Animal Clinic, from the front office staff all the way up to the doctors! Obviously, things are a little different right now with Covid. I was made aware, in advance, to stay in the car and call when I arrived. An employee was out at my car within minutes with paperwork and knew what updates were needed. As I have 2 dogs, they sent two staff members out to collect the dogs and get them inside safely.
The doctor saw my dogs quickly and called immediately to let me know what she found and what I needed to do. (I had them in for a yearly exam and vaccinations). Both dogs had ear infections and she walked me through how to clean them and medicate. You should feel confident taking your dogs, cats, birds or whatever kind of critter you have, to Ypsilanti Animal Clinic :)

I've been taking my two dogs to Ypsilanti Animal Clinic for close to 8 years and I've always had good experiences. I've had both of my dogs in for routine visits and dental cleanings. One of my dogs is older and has had two surgeries there and even though it's scary for me I've always known that he was in great hands. It's been clear to me in my time of going there that they have the animals best interests at heart and nothing they recommend is done with the intentions of up-selling or making more money. All of the staff has been kind and comforting to both me and my dogs. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I've been taking all my pets over the last 19 years -- 5 dogs & 6 cats, to Ypsilanti Animal Clinic. They have done surgery for spay/neuter, dental cleaning, tumor removals, broken/impacted teeth, plus all of their heartworm, rabies, feline leukemia & related vaccines & tests. Helped us to do IV saline at home for one with kidney issues, as we worked to help her be a little more comfortable near the end.
Staff is solid, good with helping you to learn to care for your pet but not trying to "upsell" services or care. Always willing to help in questions on follow up care. Sadly having had a few pets put down there as end of life reached them I was always appreciative of the little things like being able to pay first, so upon their passing I could leave, without having to wait & interact with the staff, leaving me the opportunity to leave & go home with my loss. Often a sympathy card arrives just a few days later to say even though they did what was asked, in my request, they are sorry for the passing of my family member as well.

Excellent, just excellent! We have two very spoiled cats and we would not just take them to any vet practice. The team at Ypsi Animal Clinic is attentive, knowledgeable and kind. You can sense that they love animals and more than that my animals sense it as well. I had 2 year old Male cat with his tail up and purring as he was being examined and given a shot! We have also boarded out babies there while traveling. I highly reccomend

We've been going to Ypsilanti Animal Clinic for 12 years. The vets are extremely skilled, knowledgeable and keep up with the latest research. They don't suggest unnecessary procedures. All the staff have high standards of professionalism while serving with compassion and warmth. This is the most dedicated, ethical and caring veterinary practice I've ever been too. I'm grateful for their contributions to our community.

My dogs and I love them! I moved to the area and had a bad experience at another local vet so I called them and asked to bring my dogs in to meet the staff and see if they were a better fit. They were so nice, gave us a tour of the facilities, and introduced the vets to me. I ended up having them do my dogs yearly exams that day and have been repeat customers ever since. Just from how they interact with each client you can see that they truly care about their clients and don't treat them like just another number on their books.

I've been taking my pets here for years. Its easy to get a same day appt. They are honest and won't try to sell care if it's not going to be useful. They really seem to have a small town, caring staff & office. Free dog treats - my pug is a big fan of these! And, they put out food and a warming bed out for the homeless Ypsi. street kats.if only there were beds and food for homeless YPSI. PEOPLE somewhere.
