We have been going here almost two years with our senior dog Star! They whole staff from start to finish has always been friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Our dog was recently in for her annual exam her doctor took the time to really listen, and after hearing how things are going she wanted to run a test. Because she ran that test we were able to diagnose Star!
With a subcutaneous mast cell tumor that same day. This was heartbreaking news, especially when we learned that because of the type of tumor and location she wasn't a good candidate for surgery. We were referred to oncology at a different office (the staff was awesome and got all the records over prior to the appointment). Because the cancer was discovered so early on Star! was a great candidate for chemo at home.
She isn't in any pain and is still blissfully unaware of the fact that she has cancer. Oncology said they hardly ever see dogs with cancer in these early stages and we were very very lucky that we caught it when we did. At 11 years old time with our sweet Star! is limited and precious, and because of the excellent group here we have been given the precious gift of extra time where our senior dog has a high quality of life. I cannot thank you all enough for that.

I used to take all my animals there but stopped after they started giving me attitude everytime i would call and they mess the payments up and called to say that i have an unpaid balance even though I paid. Some of them are nice but sometimes I feel they just want your money and will give you attitude if you're calling regarding a price or information.

After many years of taking greatcare of our pets I had to recently put our dog Petrus (pet R US)down, they couldn't have been nicer or more caring. everyone was so sincere, just before it was over they brought her to me wrapped in a gold blanket. they made a tragic event for me very nice and memorable. the follow up card was appreciated.

Recently my dearest Duke came back from his evening walk and couldn't find his balance, couldn't stand up. His eyes were racing from left to right. I thought he had a stroke. The next morning I took him to Orchard lake as they have known him for nearly 14 years. The compassion each staff member exhibited was overwhelming! They diagnosed him and with medication he is doing just fine! It wasn't a stroke and I am forever grateful for the amazing care, expertise and love Orchard Lake brings to our community!

My family has gone to this clinic for over twenty years with Dr. Oswald. They are great doctors and care about their patients, but if you need vaccines or a spay or neuter go somewhere else. Quoted over $700 for shots, checkup, spay, and chip. My fault for not asking about pricing ahead of time, but I did not expect to drop over $250 for a "complimentary" exam, a shot and blood work on a first visit. Honestly, I'd like some of that money back.
I found a clinic that can do the spay and chip for under $100 instead of the $470 quoted. I understand you need to make money, I just can't afford to continue to bring pets here.

If I could provide ZERO stars I would. I recently had my kitten spayed and have never been dealt with so disrespectfully and inhumanely. Not only do the doctors and technicians lack the general competence needed to handle animals they also are also disgustingly complacent with this absolutely ABHORRENT behavior. I would never bring my pets here, please don't waste your money! *EDIT* It's shocking that the owner seems to have a much more caring attitude in front of others as I called prior to leaving this review and was met with a very dismissive tone.
This is not the first cat I have had spayed but Luna is the first and LAST cat that will be spayed by YOU. As the many other one star reviews show, others share my sentiments and I am glad they also left a record of their horrible experiences as well. You are terrible and that's a fact, you are NOTHING like the previous owner. You are solely out for money and it SHOWS. DO BETTER!
