Daisy, along with her two littermates, was left in a box on our doorstep one cold winter night in 2012. She quickly endeared herself with everyone at the office and made herself right at home. She continues to amuse us with her antics and curiosity! There's no telling where you might find her. She's friendly to dogs, provides free Cat Scans, and helps patients relax while here for care. Her two littermates also found excellent homes with our staff members. Lori has over 30 years of grooming experience and can turn your scruffy pet into a runway model!

Our dear pets age about 7 times faster than we do, so check-ups at least twice yearly are very important. Spaying and neutering will help your pet live a longer, healthier life and is your best way to do your part with the pet over-population problem.
Microchipping- This quick, simple procedure could actually save your pet's life if he winds up away from home, lost, or at a shelter and is especially important during times of disaster. Knowing that you can be contacted and your pet returned to you if this happens will give you peace of mind. It's also proof-positive that this is YOUR pet, if there is ever a question.
We have used them for 14 years and have never been anything but very pleased with all services. Well worth trying for yourself. A friend recommended Dr. Ackerman as a second opinion, and I was so relieved with my visit. Everyone on the staff was caring towards myself and my pup. I truly feel as I can trust this place, that they care for the health of my pet, not just the bill. Thank you for calming my fears and helping my baby!

The best vet and staff hands down. My cat Lucy was having serious issues with her bum and tummy and we were both miserable. Dr. Ackerman and the staff there (Hi Donna, Jonathan and Macy! ) have been nothing but kind, patient and amazing. Through their help Lucy is on the mend and doing so much better. I trust them implicitly. They didn't try and immediately recommend a lot of unnecessary tests, they really listened to me as I rambled and nearly sobbed at my wit's end trying to find help for my cat.
And most of all, I've never felt like just a number to them. They always call to check up on Lucy and they genuinely care what happens to her and how she is feeling. I (and Lucy) cannot say just how happy we are to have found them.(yes Lucy too, cause even though she cries when she sees you all.secretly I know she's just anxious to see Jonathan and the squeezy cheese!)

I LOVE the Animal Medical Center. The staff and Doctor are the absolute best. I feel welcomed and engaged the moment I walk through the door. The level of care my pet receives from Dr. Ackerman and her staff is always at 100 % every time. I love that my pet is not just a number, everyone knows her name and remembers her each time we are there. Best Vet's office ever

This is the VET for Me! I am new to the area and called to make an appointment for my injured cat and an injured dog! Not only did they get me in that morning with both animals, they were able to schedule surgery for my cat that very same day so I would not have to return for a 2nd visit. The veterinarian seems to be holistic in her approach, letting nature take its course before prescribing lots of medication, etc.
That is my same mindset as well. The entire staff took very good care of my pets as if they were their own; they were friendly, loving and kind - soothing my pets' anxiety. All my questions were readily answered and they worked with me financially so my pets could receive their care. This is THE VET for me and my family. I can't thank you enough! Thank you!
