Dr. Rob has left. The Anderson's Corner practice was acquired by a national firm earlier this year and the change is manifested in how they are adopting policies and requirements to increase cash flow. We have always liked the vets there, especially Dr. Rob who did surgery on one of our dogs. We were told that, per their new policies, we needed two procedures before we could book grooming services.
We booked the services and when we showed up they informed us that even more services were now required, to the tune of almost $500. They did not want to talk about what we had been told originally when we booked the session, just saying that "We have already given the shots so you have to pay for it." We will miss the great groomers and the vets but the new owners' business model has turned what used to be a comfortable and warm place into an experience where I am constantly looking for their next "gotcha!" We will go elsewhere.
