Made a appointment for 2 dogs. They called and canceled that appointment and told me to come up on Saturday. I get there Saturday and they tell me the Dr. is not in on this Saturday. Nobody called me to tell me. I have 6 dogs needing to see a vet asap. The woman that answered the phone is rude and her tone was so uncaring. I'm shocked and very let down by this facility. I can't even get my dogs seen. Very unprofessional.

The best clinic in the area. Dr Lowett has huge experience and knows everything about animals and their possible problems. Reasonable prices, they only do for your pets what's needed without trying to sell you stuff.

Doc Lovett is a great Vet He cares about your pets and will take great care and them and he explains everything to you! I will never go to another Vet as long as Hardee Animal Hospital is still around. I've known Doc Lovett for 40 years and he is a long time friend.

I agree with many other reviews. Dr. Lovett is great and I love coming here but woman who takes calls is always rude and seems bothered. I get nervous to call because I feel like im bothering her and she is always quick to get me off the phone and not willing to answer questions. I'm now looking for another vet to take my animals too

Worst clinic I've ever been too. The staff is rude and they do not know what they are doing. Only come here if you want your pet to die. They gave my injured dog medications that could have killed him. I only found out after I took him to a different clinic. This place should be shut down and the vet should have his license revoked.

I'm completely at a loss for words, i brought in my dog to look at an open wound and they prescribed me some antibiotics and pain killers and told me that i should treat him with the most love and affection possible over the weekend. They followed up with saying they would treat him on Monday. I deemed the wound looked too bad to wait the weekend so i had a veterinarian in Winter Haven take a look at my dog as i was very worried for him at this point.

Upon seeing this new Vet they told me that what they had prescribed my dog was going to form a stomach ulcer. The vet said that the prescriptions given to my dog should NEVER be mixed and that it was cause for concern. This immediately brought me much anxiety and stress as my dog was already given the prescriptions. You would imagine that a professional veterinarian would want to help your poor helpless animals, but clearly that isn't the case here.

Dr. Lovette is extremely caring. He lets you know what your pet needs and doesn't add up extra tests if they are not necessary. We truly love his care.

The staff is awesome and super helpful. They take great care of my furbabies. The only reason why I am giving it 3 stars is because the lady at the front desk who answers the phone is EXTREMELY rude and condescending. Not once have I called where she sounds to be happy with her job. And looking at other reviews, I'm not the only one. Maybe they should look at hiring someone with better customer service skills.

I want to thank you guys for bringing these babies into the world. This vet seems a little unorganized and the lady at the front desk was a little rude but The nurse Cynthia I had and the doctor were amazing.

Awful customer service and no communication skills. We were called and informed our puppy was having surgery two days earlier than expected (we adopted from the local animal shelter) and then we were called by the clinic to say we had to be there no later than 4:30 pm even though we live an hour plus away. We arrived at 4:15 only to be told to stay in our cars and once they were finished with clinic at 5 pm would they begin releasing animals so finally at almost 6 o'clock we were able to leave with our puppy. If the shelter hadn't chosen this place we never would've been there and definitely won't be back.
