Van Zandt Animal Care Center is proud to serve the Wills Point, TX area for everything pet-related. Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Dr. Buck VanTrease, who is a licensed, experienced Wills Point veterinarian. Our team is committed to educating our clients in how to keep your pets healthy year round, with good nutrition and exercise.
Dr. Buck VanTrease is a 1984 graduate of Kansas State University. Post graduation he practiced in Tempe, Arizona in an mixed companion practices that included extensive equine work. In 1987 he founded a practice in Fountain Hills, Arizona predominately small animal medicine and surgery. He consulted and practiced with several large hospitals in Arizona where he started to develop advanced skills in surgery.
Our appointment book is computerized, which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come in immediately.

Outstanding service. One of the kindest and most knowledgeable vet's I have ever known. Please understand I have had vet' s in Dallas and in Houston. This is the place to trust your animal. Worth the drive. Straight forward and direct with their prognosis. Extremely compassionate and make things easy to understand. Make the drive, just tell them where you are coming from.so worth it. Edited to add: I recently called to cancel an appointment because my kitty was killed. I just got the sweetest 'sorry for your loss' card that the whole staff took the time to, not only sign, but write sweet, personal messages. That was beyond thoughtful, thank y'all As a whole, the staff is very helpful and helpful! Their prices are affordable.

Both of the doctors at this clinic are compassionate and extremely professional in their care. They care about the animal and the owner. Many times situations are not ideal and great care is given to walk the owner through all the processes. I am grateful for these doctors, staff and business. It would be a great world if all doctors including human doctors only had to do wellness checks. Real world does not allow that to happen so they are required to deal with an enormous range of emotions and incidents. Thank you for standing strong through thick and thin.
