They're quick, professional, informative, and have a genuine love for animals. They were happy to answer any questions we had and give suggestions.

PLEASE READ.3 weeks ago I took my dog in to see the vet for fleas. all fine but during the visit I was informed that my (child) so to speak needed some other meds. All cool right. Got home gave my baby the meds and she got sick. Did a little research on the meds and lord be hold these pills were dropping pets off left and right. Severe side-effects to say the least.

Why is it that I wasn't informed of the side-effects at the visit. The next morning I went to the vets office. Gave them my two cents on the ordeal. And was told that the vet that prescribed the meds would call. Well that never happened go figure. I can say this. They will never get another dollar from me. I'll be going to the vets by the overpass

Everyone was very nice there. My pets needs were taken care of efficiently. They informed you prior to treatment what the charges were going to be. Vet was friendly and professional.

Thanks for taking care of our adopted cats so well. Everything turned out well.

Highly recommend this place for all pet care needs! Very friendly people who are very gentle and caring to your pet(s)! Makes you feel appreciated and welcome. Also a really clean environment and the price is fair and affordable. I especially love how they explain everything in detail from what services are going to be needed to how much it's going to cost so there are no unexpected charges and also I like how they give you an estimate for your next visit.

Cant do business with. They want way to much personal information. Went to vet on 83 south of town. No problem

Critical: Reliability, Value Terrible experience. Have a very sick dog with me and I've been waiting over an hour to be seen. Ridiculous

I had to find a veterinarians office quickly this day and I was blessed to call Southwest Texas Veterinary. They worked us in right away and when we got there I could not have asked for a more pleasant and accommodating atmosphere for both myself and my pet. You could tell they were very busy but they still took time for us. They are thorough and they are fantastic with animals. I have taken my pet goat, my chicken and my cat to see them. They treat every animal under the sun and they are good at it. I would trust them with anything.

Everyone was awesome. I'd never brought my dogs to the veterinarian before, so I was nervous and didn't know what to expect. While the waited someone brought in another animal with an emergency and the vet and techs got to work immediately. I love this office and the people who work here are amazing. I would not hesitate to bring my fur babies here.

My pit bull was disoriented, going in circles, hind legs would drag and he would just be in pain. I told Dr Colvin about how he was acting and it looked like seizures. She copped an attitude and wanted to do blood work at the price of $624. I could not afford this. They cleaned his ears at $180. This did nothing for the problem. Reese suffered all night and could not get up the next day so I had to take him to another Vet to put him to sleep.

Since I could not afford Dr Colvin's price she ban me from their Clinic the day my buddy Reese died. She has a very bad attitude and I resent her for not treating the symptoms. I also lost my cat due to the Tech not administering the full dose of medication. My cat would get 2 shots every month for a Gum problem and I was able to buy my cat 3 more years until this last treatment which was not completely administered. She quit eating 3 days after the fact and disappeared.

Clean, staff very helpful and friendly. Vet was outstanding.

Clean caring and totally loving to the pets and people. My pets were comfortable and willing to cooperate with staff and veterinarian. They have sent emails and called with reminders about appointments. We have 3 good size and they set aside 2 hours for them and only need 1 hour

Great care. Worked with my work schedule and answered all my concerns. Gave me options on treating my dogs illness and a made it a point to make sure I knew that I can call about any concerns that may come up. super friendly staff.

Dr. Russell is amazing! And all of the staff are so sweet and genuinely love what they do. They truly care and want to help. If you have a pet that needs a vet, these are the people to see!

The staff is amazing! We’re up for the weekend at our ranch and our 4 month old lab puppy Huck got kicked by a horse! Was recommended by friend to give them a call and was able to reach Dr. Tully after hours. She had just finished a very busy 13 hour shift and was eating dinner when she told us she would meet us at the hospital quickly. From the moment we arrived they started to work on him and got him sedated with pain meds on board and X-rays! Luckily it wasn’t as bad as we thought! Her assistant Amy was very sweet and funny and helped put me at ease! Thank you both for taking such excellent care of our fur baby, we appreciate you so much!

I got my pig spayed last month, The staff is wonderful, the veterinarian is personable and very knowledgeable, I could tell she really cares about the well-being of my pet. they had Penelope in her own area sice pigs can get stressed easy, she was spoiled and monitored closely, they updated me on her status since I was concerned, everyone went above and beyond. they do an outstanding job, I drove an hour from eagle pass and will continue to bring my business to this clinic, They love animals and it shows.

We would like to thank southwest texas veterinary medical center and there amazing staff for helping us through this difficult time with the loss of our Diesel. Everyone who helped us that day cared not only for our dog but for us. We have gone to a few different vets in the past couple of years and we’ve never had an experience like the one we had at SWTVMC. They are by far the best team and we will forever be great full for them and their support.

I was in town visiting and I needed to make an emergency vet visit with my dog. Everyone there was fantastic!!! They were booked all day, but they told me to come in as a walk-in and would see me ASAP. I filled out paperwork and then waited for no more than 5 minutes before being seen. My dog can be a bit standoffish with new people, but they were great with him and made sure that his trip was a positive one!! I would go here again and recommend them to anyone!!
