Did you know that accreditation for animal hospitals is voluntary? Surprising, isn't it? Nearly 60 percent of pet owners believe that their pets' veterinary hospital is accredited when it is not. In actuality, only 12-15% of animal hospitals have gone through the accreditation evaluation process by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA).
PAWS has a spacious, comfortable lobby with a wrap around reception area which allow us to assist more than one client at a time. We have a fully stocked Clinic Store that offers a wide variety of products that your pet will benefit from as well as enjoy. We have three large exam rooms which provide a comfortable atmosphere where your pet will have its physical exam.
Our team at Palouse Animal Wellness & Surgery Center is looking for a full-time experienced veterinary technician. The candidate will join the technician department and work together to provide wellness care, anesthesia services, hospitalized patient care, dental prophies and client education. This place is genuine. Don't sleep on these vets. Took my first puppy in for surgery and they made sure to make my partner and I feel comfortable throughout the entire process. Dr. Miller was extremely transparent with the procedure and provided exceptional reassurance. I would honestly bring my dog back to this clinic for future concerns!

Earth Angels exist. And they work their magic in Moscow, Idaho under 1 roof as PAWS. My ER involving my Dachshund/Corgi/Chi, Joey, was handled with the utmost care ~ urgency~ professionalism and support to myself. Joey's leg couldn't be saved. Amputation was the obvious long-term solution. Joey is doing GREAT! My post of 5 stars is to the entire staff, who called me daily after discharge. Joey's surgeon, anathesiologist and front desk also called; not only for Joey but to check on me.
You see, I slipped on ice and fell on Joey, causing the loss of his leg. Guilt was weighing heavy on my shoulders. They provided me full support.way beyond Veterinarian Care. Many Veterinarian facilities can do amputation but few, if any, care without being desensitized. Earth Angels do exist. THANK YOU for Caring and healing Joey and supporting me through this accident

Always a good experience, even for those difficult appointments. Dr Mason is kind but realistic, realizing that money is sometimes a factor. I have been impressed with him and the staff at every visit. And we love that our pet's name is on the board when we arrive! Our cat is famous! (At least to us and PAWS)

Great veterinary care! The staff are always friendly and accommodating. Doctor Mason and Doctor Miller are very knowledgeable and treat animals like their own. We have had to bring our pets in on an "emergency" basis a few times and they have always squeezed us in. Prices are a little high, but the care is top quality.

I am so impressed with the compassion and thorough checkups. My little Yorkie Missy had a complete physical to find her breathing problems. Tests were sent to a specialist with next day results. My new pup was spayed and a stitch didnt dissolve and they got her right in to fix it. The whole staff is caring and friendly. Their prices are fair and resonable. Best vet I have found in the Moscow area,

My Ellie girl broke her leg, they were able to get her in as soon as possible! They treated her like one of there own! We went over her treatment plan they kept me updated and sent me texts with phots to let me know how she was doing. The atmosphere hear is wonderful, it makes me feel confident that I can trust leaving my Ellie in there care. Thank you PAWS!
