I took my 14 yr old lab here for an emergency and continued to use them for check ups. everything was fine. I ended up using their boarding services. he was prescribed medicine a few months ago by this vet to use daily. They wanted to charge me $25 to give him his medicine that THEY provided months ago during his boarding. A MEDICINE THEY PROVIDE.
I guess I'd get it if it wasn't medicine they prescribed for him, but to want to charge me $25 to just put it in his mouth, get out of here. He got diarrhea while there, they called and said they would be "sending home" medicine for it. I had to pay and extra $60 for this medicine upon picking him up. No one mentioned a price Ever. Not happy. Will be going elsewhere.

I have brought 2 of my 4 dogs and my cat to Care. The staff there is friendly and extremely compassionate and caring towards my pets. They've answered any questions I may have and given us the best treatment plans based on whatever crazy issue has come up (it's mostly the cat if I'm being honest). Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a Vet.

Will always recommend them! When I couldn't find anyone to help me with end of life services for Chance, they got me scheduled within an hour. The staff were all so kind and compassionate, speaking with us and they allowed as much time as we needed even tho they were by then closed. They also had a beautiful rose and sympathy card delivered, as well as clay paw print, picture frame and beautiful walnut box for Chance. It was really touching gift.

Care Animal Hospital was able to get me in within 3 days for a sick appointment. It wasn't an emergency and ended up being an ear infection so that wait time wasn't too bad. Everyone I interacted with was professional and kind. We saw Dr. Maci Burns and she has terrific bedside manner. That being said, this place is more EXPENSIVE than other vets I've been to in the area.
It was $150 dollars to see the vet, get my cat's ears cleaned, and get the ear drop medicine for the infection. In a pinch I would go here again, but for the price I would first look elsewhere.

I just had my rescue cats sterilization surgery performed at Face Low Cost Animal Clinic in Indianapolis IN. for $75.00. Not $400.00 like Care Animal Hospital tried to gouge me for. And the best part about them was the next day they followed up with me to see how my pet was doing, unlike Care Animal Hospital.

My fur baby had to have emergency surgery and the team at Care Animal Hospital was fantastic! They explained everything to us and took such amazing care of our little guy. Not only did they help Baxter but they also answered all of our questions and they were very patient with us as we were very emotional! Thank you guys again!

They took SUCH good care of my baby Sugar tonight. they stayed even though they were probably closed. They were very gentile when caring for her. She felt so much better than before it was drained she was very perky and! ready for her nightly can
I have definitely found where I want.to bring back if need be. your hearts are into your profession which I thinks makes a good vet.

They have provided care to 2 of our animals when their regular vet was unavailable. Overall, I have been super happy with the quality of care provided by Care Animal Hospital. I also appreciate that they have been able to work us in on short notice multiple times. That being said, on one occasion, medication was administered to a special needs cat without consulting me first.
This was an issue because he has a serious health condition (which the veterinarian was aware of) that can react poorly with several classes of antibiotics. I don't know if she was aware of that or not, because his condition is quite rare. I have committed to memory the classes he should/should not have, as well as ones he tolerates well. I would have happily shared that information but I never thought treatment would be given without letting us know first.
I immediately phoned his specialist who told me that we would have to watch him closely for the next 2 weeks for a reaction. That tense period could have been totally avoided. I will reiterate that I've been happy overall with the care we have received but this felt like an oversight. I've never had any veterinary processional give medicine or administer treatment with checking in, short of life saving measures. I hope that treatment without consulting the pet parent doesn't become the norm. Short of that one experience, I would have given them 5 stars though.

We have had two experiences with Care. First, our dog ate a bottle of aspirin! One of the scariest moments of my life. We rushed him to Care! They helped come up with a financial plan to get all of his medical needs taken care of! He spent four days there. When we picked him up they gave us a great after care plan and medicine! They were so helpful.
Now three years later we still have our guy! Our second experience was when we boarded our dog for a week! Care provided a safe place for him to be while we were on vacation. They were welcoming when he arrived and he was happy when he left. We love Care!

I love taking my dog to Care Animal Hospital. She goes there for grooming every few months and as needed for any ailments. She has seen all the Vets and she loves them all. I appreciate the extended hours. It is open everyday-even on weekends. That has been a real life saver. The staff are all so friendly, caring and knowledgeable.

We brought our beloved Miko to be put to sleep today after coming home to find he had been horribly injured. The staff here was so compassionate and kind. I called was able to bring him right in right away without an appointment. They made him comfortable and allowed us all the time we needed to say goodbye. We will definitely return for future care for our pets!

When I first adopted my kitten about a year ago from the Muncie Animal Shelter I had quite a few options where I could take her. I called a couple other places first but all of them were unable to see us within the next month. Care Animal Hospital not only had an opening, but when I asked about their 'kitten package' (what a lot of vets call the first few rounds of shots) prices were the same, or better than everyone else I spoke with.
My kitten had a bit of a respiratory infection shortly after I got her home. She was sneezing every few minutes and I was definitely worried. We went in and within a week she was feeling better and back to being a playful kitten! The quality of care couple with the reasonable prices are the reasons I would recommend Care Animal Hospital.

Great vets and always willing to help. My dog has had some health issues over the years and they are there to help. Some of the products they sell seem a little weird (laser joint therapy) but for straight up vet stuff they are great. Because they are a bigger place, to keep the lights on they are a little pricier than some of the country vets I have used in the past.

We use them for both vet & boarding services for our dog & cat. Very happy with the staff and doctors. They are organized and efficient, and if your pet needs emergency attention they will squeeze you in. A little more expensive than some of the other vets in the area, but the extended hours are a convenience I'm willing to pay for. Pet boarding is very reasonable, but be ready to pay a little extra for more frequent dog walks or play time.

They only care about money. They don't tell you charges until after they do the service. They talk bad about their competition. They charge exorbitant fees for simple things. They take advantage of you. They said my dog had cancer when in fact the X-ray had an artifact on it. My dogs needs TPLO surgery, and they wouldn't give him pain medicine.
They knew I couldn't afford the surgery right away. They don't care he's in pain. They said the vet I switched to is incompetent. They don't discuss other options for treatment except the most expensive. They put animals down for no reason. They're not organized. They are rude. Don't go here.

I have a cat who's been having terrible respiratory issues. I was taking her to her normal vet, who just kept giving her drops after drops and nothing was really helping her. I decided to get a second opinion at this vet and I was very pleased with them! They gave us other options that the previous vet didn't and they were very friendly. I will be taking her here from now on.

Our visit was wonderful! It was stress free, we had a long visit with the vet whom allowed us to ask as many questions needed with no rush to exit the room. Payments were conducted inside the exam room to prevent extra stress on our pet in the waiting room (excellent idea)! Also the wellness package was cheaper than most other places in Muncie and included more thorough evaluations for our pet!
