At Greenbrook Companion Animal Hospital, your pet's health is our passion. In order to ensure that your pet lives a long and healthy life, we offer a number of services. To ensure a long life it is important to understand the health issues in our senior friends. Vaccinating your pets helps to ensure that they are protected against the most dangerous diseases that affect pets.
Dr. McCain is a native of Mississippi. He did his undergraduate work at University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. He completed his DVM at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University. In 2004, he moved to Southaven with his wife and daughter and purchased Greenbrook Animal Hospital.
Recently, I came across an article on MSNBC about choosing a veterinarian. It included several questions that you should ask in choosing a vet in order to ensure that your pet receives the best care. In an effort to help our clients and others decide whether Greenbrook Companion Animal Hospital is right for them and their pets, we have answered the questions posed on that site.
My pet has bad breath. Is this normal? In general, if your pet has bad breath it is a good sign that your pet may have gingivitis. Gingivitis is simply an irritation of the gums caused by the build up of plaque near the gum line. Not only does this cause bad breath in your pet, but it can also lead to more serious problems.

I give this place 5 Stars, they are so so so nice and so sweet. They always answer the phone in time, and answer your questions the best they can! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! My baby Ginger can sometimes be a feisty kitty, and they know how to treat her well. One they have good prices, so close to home, and just AWESOME! THANKS!

Pet owners beware! Do not go to Greenbrook Companion Animal hospital. My dog went there since I first got him as a puppy and they continuously lied to me. I decided to take him to a different vet and I was told he has both hip dysplasia and heart worms. My vet told me that he was tested and was negative but he wasn't even tested. Every time we went to the vet I asked about his hips and the vet said he was fine and he just walked funny. Dr. McCain is not a good vet
