It was purchased in 2004 by Dr. Thomas McCain who completely renovated much of the clinic. Now boasting state of the art laboratory equipment, Greenbrook Companion Animal Hospital offers top quality health care for the pets of DeSoto County and the greater Memphis area.

Our Staff Report

Dr. McCain is a native of Mississippi. He did his undergraduate work at University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. He completed his DVM at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University. In 2004, he moved to Southaven with his wife and daughter and purchased Greenbrook Animal Hospital.

Critical: Quality I was told I could take fluids home for a dehydrated 6wk old kitten.when I went back for said fluids the vet on duty said he didn't feel comfortable with sending fluids home. Where's the consistency? 2 vets.same page.

Great Service! As a first time pet owner and my dogs first appt., I wasn't sure what to do. I was comfortable from start to finish. He received his shots and some meds to prevent heartworm disease.

They were really good with the pets. The only thing I didn't like was in the room, I am not sure that they clean it before each pet. My dog was licking the side of the bench. I'm guessing that maybe a girl was there & a certain spot in the floor. Other than that, they were really good.

Pet owners beware! Do not go to Greenbrook Companion Animal hospital. My dog went there since I first got him as a puppy and they continuously lied to me. I decided to take him to a different vet and I was told he has both hip dysplasia and heart worms. My vet told me that he was tested and was negative but he wasn't even tested. Every time we went to the vet I asked about his hips and the vet said he was fine and he just walked funny. Dr. McCain is not a good vet

Great staff. The drs are wonderful and the front desk girls are great. I also like the lady who takes care of my dog when I go out of town. Her name is Peggy.; Kaye is also wonderful with my Charlie. this place overall has a great knowledge in their profession and I know my Charlie dog is in great hands. Thanks yall!
