Thank you Grady Vet Hospital for giving my cat a second chance at life! My experience here was wonderful! I came home from work and my cat was screaming in pain. It was a Sunday so we could not go to his regular vet. This animal hospital was open so I filled out a questionnaire and took him here. Within 5-10 minutes of arriving, my cat was taken back to triage and, with our permission, given pain medication.

He was unable to urinate due to a blockage and was at immediate risk of going into kidney failure if they did not sedate him to catheterize him and restore urinary flow. The staff was very thorough in explaining the procedure and acted quickly. I am a critical care nurse and the staff is very knowledgeable! They allowed me to call in to check on my cat.

He spent 2 days in the hospital and he came home his usual happy and healthy self! The discharge instructions were clear and he was given adequate medications to reduce the risk of another blockage. My cat is almost 3 years old and I was so devastated seeing him in so much pain. I cannot thank this hospital enough! Special thanks to Dr. Quiles for saving his life!

I love Grady Veterinary Hospital! I went there one week night due to an emergency with my cat. The staff were all really nice, attentive, and explained the options thoroughly. They were also transparent with the costs and it was not too expensive for the visit. I would recommend them!

My sweet baby girl got into a fight at the kennel where we were boarding her while on vacation. When I got home from work today I noticed her face looking a little funny. Upon closer inspection her face and ear were all swollen. I called Grady's Because my normal vet didn't have any availability until Wednesday. They quoted me a time frame of 3-5 hours.

They got me in and out in under 2 with the antibiotics my pup needed all for under $250. I was prepared for way more than that based on other reviews. I am so grateful to these folks! It's a really great emergency vet. Hopefully I don't have any other pet emergencies but if I do, I'll be using them.

I've had to take both of my sugar babies here for different reasons. The staff is incredible. Each time I was a crying mess because I love my shorkies and they took great care of all three of us. :

My dog was hit by a car and I showed up there without am appointment. They took her straight to the back ahead of ppl in line. They immediately began to save her life. The staff was so caring and accommodating to my concerns. Very pleasant experience. I will never go anywhere else. Highly recommended!

We needed an emergency surgery for our Husky and Grady took amazing care of her. They did a full workup on her and have great specialist referrals. The staff and doctors are very friendly and helpful. They have a huge facility running 24/7 with specialists and everything you would want or need for your pet. Thank you to everyone at Grady for taking such great care of our fur baby.

I can't even rate this place because they let my Bella die. Just because she didn't have an emergency that you could see like a broken leg you could not see she was not as important as the other dogs. we had been waiting 6 hrs for service. i told them that she thrown up all over the house and made her drastically ill. what is wrong with these people. why couldn't they open her up?

This is definitely not where u want to take your dog. as a result of my trying too help i had to wait and make her suffer. As a result Bella died and i am grieving. the only reason they get one star is because i could not post the review. without a number.

We are truly grateful for this veterinary hospital. Through the years we have had many emergencies and we can always count on Gradys. They have treated and save our babies. They are professional and efficient.

My furbaby, a 12 yr old Shorkie Zu mix, had hemorrhagic gastroenteritis, lethargic, pooing blood, vomiting, they kept her overnight, fluids, meds, etc, now its a little over a week and shes great. Back to her old self and all thanks to their care! Highly recommend this Vet Hospital if your pet is sick. The first picture is on our way there, second picture is the first night home after Grady. I can't thank them enough for saving my baby girl. She means the world to me

I love this amazing place and the wonderful people who work there. They saved my babies life! They immediately took her out of my arms as I arrived shouting. They had her back in my arms with in a few minutes to kiss her good night. They found the infection that was causing her low blood sugar. I am so grateful to all staff who took care of my little "EM" from the front desk staff to all the Vet Nurses.

Special thanks to Dr. Grady and all other doctors who collaborate to make my precious baby healthy . 3/1/2022 Our precious EM still growing strong thanks to all the efforts and love from an amazing Dr. Grady and staff. I can't thank them enough for all they do. I call EM a "Dr. Grady's miracle" we are so blessed.

We had an emergency with one of our cats after hours on a weekend and ended up bringing him here. They took great care of him and were very thorough. They talked us through each of our care options, and we decided on the most aggressive course of action in hopes of a quicker resolution for our cat. This meant emergency surgery and 24/7 monitoring for several days.

They allowed us to call and check on him whenever we wanted and to even come visit once a day. The only reason I didn't give a fifth star was because communication between staff isn't the greatest. We would get different timelines depending on which doctor we spoke to, and now it's over a week later and we still don't have one of the lab tests back.

I gave Grady 5 stars because I called first thing this morning 1/2/22 and told them what was going on with my new cat Perci and they told me what to do and they said to bring her in and the exam was going to be $100. I get there tell them who i am they take me back to a room for perci to be seen and it took 10 mins for them to examine her and tell me what's going on and answer all my questions. They only charged me $10 for it being quick. Thank you Grady.

They are always so nice and I really trust what they tell me. Might be a while to get a room but def worth the wait. My doggo had an ear issue going on brought her here and the problem was gone in three days. Spent a little under 200 bucks so kinda pricey but it's to be expected from the good service you get. They are 24/hours too so if you have an emergency just bring them in.

I love this place! They saved my dogs life and I couldn't be more grateful. Everyone was very nice and caring and treated my Dog like like family. My dog was having seizures and they kept her all night and got them to stop and put her on a medication to prevent them.

Went there my first time with a dying cat and the staff was so nice and accommodating. They had a great emergency staff that took my cat right away, no paper work or waiting! Did their best and a few days later sent a very sweet sympathy card. Going to make them my go to vet from now on.

When your 14 year old Yorkie decides she is big enough to nip her 70lb lab/pit mix over a little bit of dropped chicken. At least he only used his paw to swat her down but his dew claw caught her head and split it open. Our regular vet wouldn't take her as it would "Take too long" so we went to Gradys. Not only were we treated quickly they were kind enough to look at another issue that was previously described to us as just allergies that was actually a skin infection.

The price was completely reasonable for emergency care late in the evening plus the cost of medicines. No more itchy skin, and the cut that is healing beautifully. Grady has earned a new client.

We had an emergency with our dog last year in the height of the pandemic & they were wonderful. They were strict with their Covid guidelines, which I appreciated. Every person I encountered was compassionate and kind. They are so wonderful I switched to them for her regular care (and it's a 20 minute drive). All the staff is amazing. I rave about them every chance I get.

Low reviews are probably because the wait times are long - but realistically it's a vet urgent care that is 24 hours so it's hard to expect it to be quick They have always taken excellent care of my puppy princess and it's nice to have a 24 hour facility close

I love this veterinary clinic! They are always so helpful and accommodating. With multiple dogs and a cat, it's great to have a veterinarian that is also an emergency clinic. I really appreciate their walk-in service option although it will cost you more versus making an appointment. But sometimes all you can do is walk in and it's great to have that option. The staff is always friendly and explains the medications, procedures, etc. I'm really glad I found them in the Cincinnati area

Love the practice. Call Marshall Grady when it comes to questions if I not been their for awhile. I find Dr Quiles is excellent and knowledgeable about cat and dogs. Then there is Dr Grady. If you go be aware most places our book through sept. Due to covid expect a whT. A regular dr is 4 to 5. They our no different. Please wear mask be safe and call if you cannot. Although you will receive the same everywhere.

If I could put a zero, I would. I contacted Grady for an appointment and was told I needed to come to the parking lot to put in a queque to see a vet. I did that at noon. When I arrived at the parking lot, I called to let them know I had arrived. I was put on hold for 15 minutes and then told it would be 4.5 - 5 hours to see a vet. Ok, I went home, came back at 4.5 hours and was told it would be another 2.5-3 hours.

I went home. About 1.5 hours later, the office called and said if I was in the parking lot, I could be seen. I told them I could be there in 10 minutes. She said, "Sorry, we can't wait and you will lose your place in line. If you come back, we can put you in queque again." This is an outrageous practice. When I asked the front desk if she could please be flexible, I was rudely shut down. Perhaps the vets are great but the front desk and office practices are horrific. Will NEVER recommend or try Grady again.

I took my dog there around 12pm on Sunday night. She was admitted around 4:30 am and the entire staff was so awesome. I've worked in Veterinary Medicine for 16+ years, and the level of professionalism, compassion and communication was outstanding. From the front desk staff to the techs and Veterinarians that cared for our girl, I am deeply grateful. You all do such an amazing job. Thank you!

They are so amazing, and sweet. My poor baby dragon of 14 was randomly dying and they tried everything to try and save him. When I went to pick him up they showed me so much passion, and that the cared. Also after he died they allowed me to sit their and hold him as long as I wanted without making me feel rushed, or like I was in the was. They all hugged me and told me how sorry they were for me. One lady even cried with me. They all understood he was family and not just a pet to me. I will always be bringing my pets here.

The slowest running vet hospital I have ever seen. Took my dog in for a walk in due to stomach issues- waited in the car roughly 45 minutes then got a call saying a room was available. My dog and I sat in the room for a total of 4 hours not being helped. I went to the front desk and the women working it are extremely rude. All they say is "the vets are doing their rounds".

Then I recently needed to order a prescription diet food for my dog. I ordered it off of Chewy and they needed authorization from the vet to deliver it to me. Of course Grady never gave that authorization. Every time I have gone there I alway got a bad vibe and my dog is extremely friendly (loves the groomer and other public places) but HATES that vet hospital.

He gets very bad anxiety and always barks. Makes me wonder what they have done to him there. I will never recommend them and never go back. If anyone has a vet emergency- take your dog to Med Vet not Grady.

We used to love this place but after tonight's experience, I don't think we can go back. The front desk staff was absolutely unprofessional and rude. We sat in our car to waiting to be called in for our appointment. We called to let them know we where there and after my wife and I both being put on hold for 10 minutes, my wife went in. She sat there for about 20 minutes to no avail.

After waiting for 40 minutes we left. The receptionist then called us back and after having found out we gave up and left, she had the audacity to raise her voice with my wife. She was very unprofessional about the situation and didn't understand why we left. They ignore the phones and then say they will call you shortly and you won't here back for a while. All while sitting in your car. They need a new and much more professional staff. Anyone know of any other good vets out there that have a friendly, professional staff?

My cat was having issues peeing again. The five different medications they told me to buy didn't work. $400 bucks down the drain! But, I took him back anyway as directed. I walked in and they told me it would be a 2-3 hour wait and they would call me when I could come back. I went home and waited for them to call me. 4 hours later they told me to come in now.

I told them I will be there in 20 minutes. The lady said, "Oh sorry you have to come in right now or you will be put at the end of the waiting list." Which was another, you guessed it, 4 hours or so! I was suppose to just sit out in my car with my already distressed cat for hours? Urinary issues with male cats is nothing to mess with! Mask mandate was lifted So it wasn't because of covid!

This was ridiculous! I guess I am just going to have to pray my regular vet can see him in the am! I will do anything and everything I can not to go here. there has to be a better ER Vet!

My dog was acting very odd and sick when we woke up in the morning, so we figured this was an emergency. We brought him here and called and said they would get him in very soon. 2 hours later we were very frustrated and worried so we called again and they put us on hold for 20+ minutes. Eventually they got him inside and got us situated, which is why I left a 2 star review as opposed to 1.

The wait time was very extensive though, considering our dog could have had an emergency issue, we understand the pandemic is still here and that can cause things to be tough, but a little communication would have been appreciated.

I just moved from NYC and my chocolate lab needed an emergency vet. I have never made a complaint ever, but I cannot let this go. I am pulling out in absolute DISGUST to how nasty the receptionist was. I will be calling back after I go to a different emergency get to get my dog taken care of to get the name of this woman, but right now my priority is my dog and the way she's treated me, I can only imagine how she treats the animals she is trusted with as they can't speak.

Dr. Hogan is my regular vet at Grady Vet Hospital. She always provides informative details and gives suggestions during my visits. I always feel informed after leaving with my cat and never pressured for unnecessary procedures. I adopted my cat when he was 5 years old in September of 2018 and he was severely overweight (~20 lbs when he should weigh no more than 12 lbs).

I have been taking him to Grady since the adoption. Each visit for his annual, Grady Vet has helped me through my cat's weight loss regimen and his overall health, shots, and other care. Most recently (on Tuesday 01/05) I took my cat in for his dental cleaning as discussed during the last annual visit with Dr. Hogan. Now that my cat is at a healthy weight and I had saved up funds, we felt it was safe to go ahead with the cleaning.

The basic dental cleaning is ~$300. Unfortunately during the procedure, my cat had to have 4 extractions and Dr. Hogan called me to explain the situation and asked what I wanted to do. I felt her concern for my cat and went ahead with the extractions. When I picked up my cat, I was given detailed instructions on how to care for him with the medications and how his after surgery care should be that night.

The total cost with prescriptions, extractions, and the cleaning was ~$900. Which after speaking with a family member and a couple coworkers, seems to be on par with what they paid for their pets extractions at other vets in KY and OH. The vets and vet techs are superb! I highly recommend this vet to everyone.

I brought my cat here at the recommendation of our regular vet since the problem developed on a Sunday afternoon after their regular hours. Grady's was the closest vet open so we went there. We did the online check in and arrived about 15 minutes later. I called them and told them we were here and the person answering the phone took a medical history.

I was told there were a few people in line before us and they would call us when it was our turn. Two hours later, I called and asked for an update and was told there were 4 in front of us and it would be about another hour. Two hours later, the cat did not seem in distress any longer so we decided we would take him to our regular vet in the morning and we left.

I did not notify them because I wanted to see how long it would take. I got the call to bring my cat in at about 5 hours and 40 minutes. I am writing this review as I am sitting in the parking lot at my vets but there is a big difference. I know where I am in line and how much longer it will be. Grady's really needs to do a better job of informing folks about where they actually stand on a wait list.

My puppy wasn't feeling well so I was advised by my regular vet to bring him here to Grady Hospital. They took us in the room quickly and started with their evaluation. They determined that he got into some kind of poison and started to treat him with blood transfusions and meds but his heart stopped and they were unable to revive him. I do believe they tried everything they could have.

Everyone there was very kind, compassionate & professional. Before leaving they gave me his paw print on a card and a couple of days later I received a sympathy card from them, in the mail. I do recommend Grady for your fur babies.

Recently had to take both of my dogs in on a Sunday for an emergency visit. Only giving a four star because we have to wait for over five hours but other than that they were wonderful.

Wouldn't have even left one star if i didn't have to. We waited 7 HOURS to finally get my cat checked. 4 of the 7 were in our car waiting for a call. The rest we were constantly lied to being told "there's one more person in front of you then it's your turn". Multiple people who got there shortly after us were still waiting in there cars by the time we were finally done.

Also not the cheapest place to go considering they charged me and extra $106 just because it was on a Saturday. My cat was in a crate for nearly 5 hours because of the constant lies. You could not pay me to ever give this clinic my business or TRUST again. If you have other choices in your area take them.

Absolutely terrible. Someone needs to give the staff some lessons in how to be compassionate because they clearly don't understand that simple human emotion. I brought my cat in and they told me he was stable, so I continued to wait three hours to see the vet. The vet sees him and tells me he needs to stay the night because he's in fact not stable, so I agree to the course of treatment including xrays, blood work etc.

I get a call from the vet later telling me that he needs an ultrasound on his abdomen so they can see what's wrong "it'll show us exactly what the problem is, better than the X-ray" so I agree to a $250 ultrasound. Next day I speak with the vet about the ultrasound where she told me they couldn't see anything different on the ultrasound and the only thing that will save him is exploratory surgery and he is more than likely going to die during the surgery.

So my options are, pay a few thousand dollars more and your cat will die, or put him down and he will die. I chose the second option and when I went in to have him put down the front desk girl asked me if I was there to pick him up, I said no I'm here so he can be euthanized which her response was "well I didn't know that" just full of attitude in a time that I do not need that.

So she takes me to a cold, dark exam room and has me sign paperwork and pay before they'll do the procedure. No one ever told me I owed more money before this so this was a shock to be stuck with an additional $500 bill and a dead cat. It's not about the money, and never will be it's about the fact that I paid them a thousand dollars and he died and then they treated me like shit the entire time.

The vet came in for thirty seconds, didn't ask if I was ready, didn't try to explain the process, she didn't care. It was around lunch time so she must have been ready for break. Overall, nightmare experience. I wouldn't recommend you take roadkill there, unless you like being lied to, deceived, extorted out of more money and talked to like you're an idiot.

On Monday, June 22nd our 2 year old Pomeranian had paralysis and was unable to walk. She was with us when this happened and there wasn't any visible cause. Grady vet did an X-ray and didn't find anything, so they did a CT scan and the surgeon didn't see anything. The surgeon sent the CT scan to a radiologist who said her spine is 40% compressed from a disc.

The surgeon trusted the radiologist and proceeded with surgery only to find out there wasn't anything he could remove/repair. The incision from the unnecessary surgery has only delayed healing. Fast forward three weeks later, we requested the surgeons notes (9 times between us and the new vet) since June 25th, and these have STILL not been provided to us.

So all said and done, Grady vet has billed us $3500 (full cost of UNNECESSARY surgery and sedation) and claims we still owe roughly $700 after performing unnecessary surgery. great business practices, they REALLY care about animals.

I never love having to come here because it always means one of my kids is really sick and needs round the clock care my usual vet can't provide. That said, I've had three different instances of them taking the steps to save cats, so I can't complain too much. The staff is always nice but it's gonna take you a loooong time here, and the prices feel a bit excessive.

Open 24 hours and there are many vets so if you need a second opinion or like variety for your pet's care, this is a nice place. We moved here after the vet we used for the last 13 years started to go downhill with service and care. So far it's been great care for our senior dog. The vets return calls, they have reasonable rates for visits and follow up visits, and the medications are easy to obtain either on site or over the internet.

For emergencies, we have had very short wait times. Our dog had a bad cough and was struggling to breathe so we Came In after midnight and got care within 10 minutes of arriving. For scheduled appointments, we have had a good experience as well. They have two staff members along with the vet when measurements need to be taken and our dog is unhappy about being poked and prodded.

The vets are happy to show us all the testing results and discuss differentials for possible causes for our dog's symptoms. We appreciate the openness. The boarding area in case your pet has to be hospitalized is very clean as well.
