Northern Valley Animal Clinic took great care of our dog when we went in for an allergy issue. He hates the vet typically and has to wear a muzzle but our Vet Tech Carrie made the visit better than I ever expected. She was great with him and was able to calm him down to the point where he didn’t even care where we were anymore. The staff is great and will be our go-to from here on out, thank you Northern Valley!

I brought my cat, Ramy, to see Dr. Lucca. It was my first visit. Dr. Lucca and the staff were all welcoming, knowledgeable and kind. Despite the clinic being very busy everyone was patient and answered all of our questions. Shortly after our visit, I received a follow up call to ensure I wanted to order the medications for Ramy after a price check. I appreciate the thoughtfulness and care! Thank you!

I agree with the general comments about this place being overpriced and not the best customer service. VCA and Pet Heritage charges me for $51-55 for a wellness exam, and usually a follow up without a cost. If you go further outside of RST you can get a $45 range exam. Here they charge me for $70 exam and $55 follow up. I spent > $500 so far (WITHOUT any diagnostic tests like blood work or xray yet) and my cat is still not better. They are also not transparent about optional procedures and what is necessary - just the plans that bring them the most money.

Had to bring my kitten here while on a trip to Mayo. The staff members here are wonderful! Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. We were able to squeezed in for an appointment the same day. Very good care, and also, great explanation and education from vet. If I lived in the area, I would definitely make this our permanent veterinary office.

My Doberman had a fracture that didn't heal properly. A pet store animal clinic vet could only suggest over medicating or full leg amputation. I went to Northern Valley to get a second opinion. Dr. Trader suggested removing the toe which was swollen and excruciatingly painful. After doing so, my 12 year old dog was full of energy 3 days latter. She's still healing, but she's happy again! I highly recommend Northern Valley Animal Clinic!

I recently moved to Rochester and because of COVID I haven't been able to find "my" vet in Rochester for my best friend, FinnDog. Over the weekend my buddy hurt his leg chasing a ball so I reached out to Northern Valley in the morning and they got him in that day for a visit. Dr. Herman and his team were incredible and did such a great job with him and with me.
I now know who "my" vet is and I am more than happy that it's the team at Northern Valley! I 100% recommend the team/people at Northern Valley for care of your pet/s! Not sure if they will read this review, but if they do, I just want to say THANK YOU again!
