Pet insurance pays, partly or in total, for veterinary treatment of the insured person's ill or injured pet. Some policies will pay out when the pet dies, or if it is lost or stolen. As veterinary medicine is increasingly employing expensive medical techniques and drugs, and owners have higher expectations for their pet's health care and standard of living than previously, the market for pet insurance has increased.

I brought my dog in yesterday. We told the receptionist that she might have parvo. They told us to bring some stuff and when we got there, they just told us to boil chicken and rice and sent us on our way. We took her to another vet today and she tested positive for Parvo. This is ridiculous that you get payed for telling us to boil chicken. My girl could die and you're not taking this seriously. Shame on all of you.

I feel these people play guilt trip games on people. I do not like this clinic sense it changed hands. I took my little dog in to get her spaded. They handed me paperwork to fill out that probably is normal but there where quite a few I'm going to say a half dozen? Asking you if you wanted to add to the Procedure that made you feel guilty if you said no and there was all these extra fees tacked on to it on top of the regular fee of $186 to have her spaded.
The more questions I read the worst I felt about the whole process. So I let them know how It made me feel and a lady came out that was to do the procedure and said she would not do it with my attitude the way it was. Of course I Didn't want to let them do it at that point anyway because I had no trust in them to care for my dog in a safe manner. So I explained to them that the way they do it makes people feel like they don't care about their Baby dogs if they don't allow all those extras which were things I felt should just be normally included in such a procedure.
Obviously I walked out the door with my little baby and will find a new clinic to go to. What's funny is I originally had them in my will to help others out that cannot afford to have things like that done so they could. Not anymore! So I've decided to go with kittens and canines who offer free micro chipping along with other things.
