Bayside Animal Hospital

My dog was kenneled at Bayside for six days and when I picked him up I rushed him to the emergency hospital where he was suffering from severe dehydration and kidney failure. He died 3 days later. I would not recommend having your dog kenneled at this facility. They showed no care or compassion for me or my animal and was only worried about liability. Dr. Gosser is VERY RUDE and unprofessional.

We moved to Cambridge a year and a half ago and needed a new vet. Our vet in Easton closed through COVID and was terribly unresponsive even as things reopened. But vets aren't like coffee shops. It's hard to just switch. Our fur babies care is on the line. Bayside has been a joy to work with (we have 3 dogs of different ages). Reasonably priced and knowledgeable with good common sense approaches to our dogs care.

We couldn't be happier with our experience with Bayside. We switched from another vet practice that was bought out and had gone downhill (if you're local I'm sure you can take a guess) and don't regret our decision at all. They had evening appointment availability within 2 days of my initial call. Pleasant and friendly front desk staff both over the phone and at check in. Dr. Gosser is wonderful.

Our dog has a lengthy medical history and a chronic condition that requires ongoing medication and monitoring. She took her time reviewing her history and speaking with us at great length, despite the late hour. I spoke with Savannah the following day to follow up on locating my dog's medication and she was communicative, kind and efficient! She had our medication shipped to their practice the very next business day. We feel very confident in our decision to switch to this practice and I will be referring friends and family to Dr. Gosser.

I brought my 4yr old dog Henry in on August 23, 2021 for annual vaccinations and toenail trim with Dr. Ferguson. We brought Henry home and soon after he was completely dragging one leg behind him. I called Bayside immediately and was told by whomever answered the phone that this was normal and to wait 48 hrs. The following evening, August 24, my dog was unable to stand and I took videos to show the vet of him collapsing from one side to the other as he attempted to walk.

Both back legs appeared paralyzed and I called immediately that afternoon, August 24 and requested to send 2 videos of what was happening. Dr. Gosser called me back and stated that she'd never seen this before but to wait until the morning and if not improved to bring him in to them.

They are always so courteous and kind. I love boarding my dog here but still I worry why he comes home whimpering and cowering like he was hurt or something. Never really had any issues. If anyone knows anything, please reach out. I am a little concerned. It takes him almost three weeks to remain normalcy. The pricing is manageable but at what expense?

They always treat the animals great. Been going here for years, and they try to be accomodating.

Bayside Animal Hospital Bayside Animal Hospital VERY BAD SERVICE! Would not recommend, they don't care about your feelings and they string you on. I'm a customer I've taken my dog and cats there multiple times! I just needed a second job temporary, they said they were hiring 2-4 people for the position! I put in an application about 2 weeks ago I got an email stating "employer has viewed your application" I called Friday October 9th to get an update and make sure they got my app.

They were closed I left a message for them to get back to me. I called again Monday afternoon because I never got a call that morning and they told me that the office manager was busy they will give me a call back which I never received, I then called today at 11am they gave me the same run around "the office manager is busy she'll call you back" I said okay here comes 3:30pm I still didn't received anything and so I called again.

I got what sounded like a young lady I updated her on what was going on just asking if she got my application she told me once again the office manager was busy they have 47 applications to look over in which I understand completely all I was asking was if they received the app. So I said you know what I want to withdraw my application because I feel as though you don't have anymore positions and you guys are wasting my time because I'm sitting here day after day waiting for a call let alone I could've had another job or put in different applications somewhere else.

The receptionist there literally only says "we don't want you working here anyway" *click* and hung up on me. Wouldn't recommend going there anymore! I hope karma does its job and I hope you're happy you lost an applicant and customer in the same day thank you for wasting my time

Dr. Spofford and staff are amazing. They always go above and beyond to help our Golden Girls stay healthy and have the best quality of life possible. Appointments are always quick with not a long wait. If my girls need to be seen ASAP they see them same day or next day.

Our little man, Mr. Business had his first trip to the Dr. Spofford since it was his time for his 1 year check-up and vaccinations/shots. He did fairly well on his first car ride there but amazingly he was even more calm after entering the office. The doctor & staff were wonderful during the treatment and in the way they handled him during the visit. He was so relaxed he slept the whole ride home!

Great experience today with Dr. Spofford, his tech Alaina (I hope I got her name right), and other staff. My dog, Stogie, is a gentle giant who is always so nervous and scared when out of his element. And, they were both awesome with him. Going in, I was nervous about taking him to the vet on account of some experiences I've had with my other dogs in the past. But, they were excellent. Made my next appointment already. And will bring my other fur baby there from now on as well.

Fantastic vet. Great care was taken by the incredibly friendly staff when handling our cats. Resolved health issue for our cat within first visit. Lovely establishment.

My Apple started getting sick February 8,2021. The doctors and staff have been absolutely wonderful. Even though things were not looking good, we went forward. At today visit things were promising. She is heading in the right direction. I would recommend them whole heartedly.

Dr. William Spofford and his entire team at Bayside Animal Hospital are absolutely amazing. Not only did he accept our labrador retriever with a possible fatal disease. but also during the COVID-19 pandemic and when no one else would help. They are all extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Thanks to them our dog is healthier than ever and we are forever grateful.

Very caring, knowledgeable, accommodating vets and staff. My dog enjoys her visits with Bayside Animal Hospital.

Bayside Animal Hospital deserves the highest possible praise for the way the staff and doctors care for furry family members. The routine checkups are always friendly and thorough. The weekend boarding is so convenient and reliable. The monthly dispensing of medicines and accessories are quick and easy. And, on tougher days when the end of the road is in sight, it’s not surprising that the Bayside family is there shedding a tear with you.
Bayside Animal Hospital is an inseparable part of our family.

Bayside has been taking care of our cats for years. The staff is amazing and truly cares. The compassion they showed when our oldest cat crossed the rainbow bridge was so appreciated They take care of your pets as if they were theirs. Highly recommended!

Took my last dog to them and my new puppy very friendly caring and attentive. When I first moved to the area I wondered if I’d ever find a place I would feel comfortable with needless to say I’ve found a perfect place.

GREAT PLACE! From start to finish they were top notch! From getting a last minute same day appointment for an abscess on his little rump, to a quick and informative checkout. Dr.Gosser was so gentle and kind to our sweet doxie Dexter. As was Brittany, our tech. They also had extremely reasonable pricing even for something so urgent. I'll never go anywhere else again.
