Laguna Beach Animal Hospital has been in business since 1981 and services Laguna Beach, Newport Coast, Corona Del Mar and Aliso Viejo. Dr. Silvia Colladay is a 2001 UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine graduate. A Louisiana native that made her home in Laguna Beach in 2001 where she started her journey in clinical practice. Dr. Colladay spent her early years in practice as a mobile equine veterinarian, where she was able to keep our Orange County horse community healthy.

Preventive veterinary care is the cornerstone of keeping your pet their healthiest so that you and your pet can have more great years together. We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 5 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Vaccinations are important to be updated regularly to prevent diseases than can shorten the lifespan of dogs and cats.
Please note that this is only a request - someone from our office will contact you shortly to confirm a date and time for your appointment. New Patients - please give us a call in order to book your first appointment. Also, please allow an additional 10 to 15 minutes prior to your appointment to create a medical record and patient file.

I hadn't been to Long Beach Animal Hosp in a while. They are my primary vet and I hadn't gone in a while. Dr. Colladay is the medical director now and she not only provided great care for my dogs, but was very kind, understanding and I just plain liked her. Thanks for the great care, LBAH. I feel so comforted by Dr. Hayter and the entire staff here. They always take their time with you and I know my cat is receiving high quality care when she has to visit. They even trim her nails and give her a bath when she needs it! She always seems relaxed when she has an appointment there. Thank you guys!

Everyone at Laguna Beach Animal Hospital is really great! They always make me feel very comfortable, and calm, when I am having medical issues with my kitties, or even just having their shots updated. They will always give me all my options and work with me to get the best care for my animals. I wont take my fur babies anywhere else.

I'm very happy with the care you've been able to give to my Stella. I've been to other vet offices who, because of her aggression, won't even attempt to trim her nails without first sedating her. Your staff is able to deal with her without any problems, and everyone is always very knowledgeable and helpful.

I took my dog in for an exam - he had thrown up and had a soft stool. They recommended an X-Ray, overnight stay with IV fluids, and a "pill" for his vomiting. After I said I was taking the dog home they said not to feed him or let him drink water for 12 hours. I instead gave him half a portion of his dinner and a couple of fried eggs. He's fine now. Felt like they were trying to upsell, would not recommend.

This is our family's 3rd rescue kitten in the last 17 years. The staff at LBAH has always been super personable, and caring, actually engaging with us and all our kitties! I believe they adore them and care about them almost as much as we do! When My 1st cat died-in my arms at the clinic, they were there to support me and were so gracious to let me sit there and grieve (ok be hysterical) for as long as I needed. The next day, I received a HUGE beautiful bouquet of flowers and a lovely card. I will never forget that experience. Thank you so much, all of you at LBAH!

I'm a loyalist to my vet; however, they do not treat rats so I called up LBAH and they did. I had a real good experience with the staff and doctor, they were realistic and honest about my rat's condition. It's been 4 days and my "Dude" is starting to show signs of recovery from his infection. Keep you updated, hopefully a photo soon. Thanks again, Brett.

I can not express my gratitude enough to Laguna Beach Animal hospital..I had a tough realization that my kitty if 9 years may have a infection and that she may need immediate help. I recently lost my job and had hoped that it wouldn't be so severe that it could wait awhile. The staff and doctor took the needs of my cat before the needs of $ and we worked out a gracious payment plan. Roxy is great now and super happy. Thank you again!

The staff here is wonderful to you and to your dogs. They all have a positive, friendly attitude. I never hesitate to call to ask a question or for a last minute appointment because they're so helpful and they do their best to fit you in. I have a lot of confidence in the doctors. I wish it wasn't right downtown, but there is a small parking lot and it's usually not a problem.

I wish I had found LBAH years ago! Dr. Levin and his entire staff are so caring and compassionate. We had to put one of our furry babies down and they saw me cry. A lot. Never once did I feel judged by them. Instead, they got choked up with me, gave me warm hugs and talked to me about my sweet dog. They will never know how much I appreciated that. We will never go anywhere else. Best of the best.
