Wellness Exams
Annual wellness exams provide a complete picture of your pet's health and are useful in spotting diseases and health problems before they become more difficult and more expensive to treat. During an exam, Dr. Ron will examine your pet's heart and lungs, evaluate his or her vision, check for unusual lumps or growths, examine the teeth and oral cavity, and check for swelling and stiffness and the joints. We also perform routine tests for internal and external parasites

Puppy and kitten
Bringing a new puppy or kitten into your home can be wonderful - but it can also be a lot of work! We perform a full examination of your pet and discuss with you vital information about your new pet, including vaccine schedules, heartworm disease and other parasites, your puppy or kitten's nutritional needs, house training strategies and more.

Vaccinations
Many common diseases that once afflicted pets can now be prevented through the use of regular vaccinations. We vaccinate against rabies, feline leukemia, parvovirus, distemper and other disease. Some vaccinations are given annually while others are given every three years.

Vaccine Titers
There is a growing trend in veterinary medicine today as the veterinary community question's the need for yearly vaccinations. It is a method to check an animal's titer to a vaccine on a yearly basis. A titer is a blood test that measures the amount of antibody in the blood to a given disease agent. For example, a parvo titer would show the amount of antibody against parvovirus that a dog has in his/her blood. If the titer comes back low we recommend to vaccinate. If the titer results come back adequate we reccomend rechecking the titer again in one year. The evidence is suggests that immunity persists for years or for life from vaccines early in life, and the risk of chronic illness is significantly increased with vaccine repetition(over vaccination). At Advanced Veterinary Mobile Clinic, we recommend testing for titers rather than over vaccinating. If the titer results come back too low to provide adequate immunity, we will vaccinate your pet for FREE. Our clinic will provide each individual patient with an appropiate approach tourds vaccination. At Advanced Veterinary Mobile clinic, we believe that vaccines need to be limited to the minimum necessary to provide adequate immunity (just like in humans).

Diagnostic Laboratory
Advanced Veterinary Mobile Clinic uses a centralized reference laboratory for most tests, ensuring that your pet receives the best diagnostic care available. We are also capable of performing a number of in house laboratory tests for your pet. Our trained Veterinary technician Lilie can perform a number of in house laboratory tests such as urinalysis, fungal cultures, skin scrapings, Parasite testing and more. Results are often available in a few minutes, which means a fast, accurate diagnosis for your pet.

Digital Radiology
Digital X-rays are an important diagnostic tool for your pet. X-rays can be useful in pinpointing the location of a growth or lump in your pet's abdomen or determining the severity of a bone fracture. Heart and lung disease, gastrointestinal problems and other health problems can also be diagnosed through x-ray. Advanced Veterinary Mobile Clinic utilizes modern digital x-ray equipment that produces high-quality diagnostic radiographs in a matter of seconds. This service is available at any of our Partner Hospitals located in San Fernando and Simi Valley.

Surgical Care
Surgical care can be a stressful experience for you and your pet. At Advanced Veterinary Mobile Clinic, we strive to provide high-quality, compassionate surgical care for your pet while giving you peace of mind.

We perform a range of surgical procedures for your pet, from routine spay/neuter surgeries to more complex procedures. During surgery, sophisticated equipment such as blood pressure, EKC and pulse oximetry monitors, is used to monitor your pet's vital signs while a heating pad keeps your pet warm and maintains his or her body temperature. A skilled, experienced veterinary technician assists the Dr. during surgery and keeps a close eye on the patient. Surgeries are performed at our Partner Hospitals located in San Fernando Valley and Simi Valley.

Dental Cleanings
Both plaque (a colony of bacteria, mixed with saliva other bacterial components) and tartar(or calculus, occurs when plaque becomes mineralized {hard} and firmly adheres to the tooth enamel then damages the gingival tissue) damage the teeth and gums. The disease starts with the gums (gingiva). They become inflamed - red, swollen, and sore. The gums finally separate from the teeth, creating pockets where more bacteria, plaque, and tartar build up. This in turn causes more damage, and finally tooth and bone loss.

Routing dental care is an important part of maintaining your pets longivity. Neglected teeth/gums could lead to Bacteria entering the bloodstream and affect major body organs. The liver, kidneys, heart, and lungs are most commonly affected. Antibiotics are used prior to and after a dental cleaning to prevent bacterial spread through the blood stream.

While your pet's dental cleaning is similar in many respects to the same procedure you undergo at the dentist's office, it is also very different. Before the cleaning begins, we perform a physical examination of your pet and may conduct a blood test in order to develop a safe anesthetic protocol for your pet. Anesthesia is necessary to keep your pet still and comfortable during the dental cleaning.

During the cleaning, tartar is removed from your pet's teeth using a hand scaler. Next, a periodontal probe checks for pockets under the gumline - where periodontal disease and bad breath usually start. An ultrasonic scaler is used to clean above the gumline and a curette is used to clean and smooth the teeth under the gumline in the crevice. Your pet's teeth are then polished, creating a smooth surface. The final step involves washing your pet's teeth with an anti-bacterial solution to delay tartar build-up.

I have had many pets for many years. I love them with all my heart. They hate going to the doctors office as much as I do. I didn’t want to subject my thirteen year old to one of these office visits for what I believed was an abscess. I called Dr. Ron after finding him on a local search engine. From the moment Lilie picked up the phone and he showed up at my door, I knew I was in good and loving hands.

Dr. Ron not only took care of my precious Luke at home but it turned out not to be an abscess.

When he needed surgery, Dr. Ron took him to his office and brought him back to me. He called me everyday, sometimes twice a day to make sure we were both OK. When I needed to find an oncologist/specialist surgeon, he guided me and has been following our progress ever since.

It’s not an easy thing when the little ones you love become ill. It makes the process easier when you have people who love them as much as you do.

I have never in my sixty plus years of life experienced this depth of compassion and caring in a vet. I’ve been a nurse for over 40 years. I know the difference between good care and not-so-good care. Dr. Ron is on the scale of excellence!

This is by far the best mobile vet clinic out there! I have 3 older cats and 2 of them need daily treatment in order to stay healthy. Dr. Ronny and his staff have given me the courage and knowledge to medicate them on my own at home. I learned how to give them fluids under the skin and how to get them to take medication. I never thought I would be able to do this in the past.

Every other vet just charged me for every visit and never showed me how to do things on my own. I am so grateful to have found this mobile vet. I wish I would have found them sooner! I would give them 100 stars if I could!!

I have a very grumpy dog named Dopey. During a recent extended visit to LA, my dog became ill. Dr. Ron & Lilie were like angels from heaven. They are true animal lovers & my dog must have noticed b/c he took an immediate liking to them. With their help, Dopey was back to his old tricks in no time! I wish I had such convenient, professional, & splendid help in my area! SoCal is lucky to have this duo.

Dopey thanks you & so do I!
