Carver Street Animal Hospital

All three of our pets (2 dogs and a cat) go to Carver and we're so thankful to have a place like this nearby. We have older pets and Carver Street Animal Hospital has given us the best vet experience for our pack. I would recommend them to everyone I know in this area. Big thank you to the staff for everything you do to keep this place up and running; your efforts do not go unnoticed :)

Great staff, we've had all three cats here and each time the staff is helpful, understanding, friendly to me and my pets. Love them! We now drive 30 min just to keep the cats with them after we moved.

If I could give less than 1, I would. Blood work recommended by vet for my 15 year old cat was drawn yesterday morning (1st appointment) and was told I would be called or emailed by the evening with results. No call, no email with results. Called office today approximately 36 hours later and was told it would be day after tomorrow I would be called. Obviously not a big deal to them

I've seen all of the vets here and they're all great! They take such good care of my two cats and two German shepherds. From offering info about consultants to hire when I started making homemade food for my cats and had questions, to letting me cuddle my cats while they waited for anesthesia to kick in instead of keeping them in the back room. They really make not only pets, but pet owners, their highest priority.

They now have the option to come in to see the Doctor or they can come to your car and take your pet. The Doctor does comes out to speak with you after they have examined your pet and discuss what was found and treatment options if necessary. The staff is really friendly and helpful and my dog loves going to them

I've been brining my pets to Carver Street for several years and I can't speak highly enough about my experiences. Everyone is so kind, visits never feel rushed, and my concerns are always respectfully addressed/resolved. The staff are amazing and they treat my pets with a lot of love; the team genuinely seems to have the animals' best interest at heart. I definitely recommend getting your veterinary care at Carver Street!

What impressed me the most of Carver Animal Hospital is the quality of care they provide for my dog, Bo when he's sick or just for routine check up It's beyond my expectation! Excellent care! Outstanding team of Doctors and Staff! Thank you Dr Crabtree and Dr Gillian for taking care of Bo. Thanks to Kiara( hope I spelled it correctly) for being so gentle and caring to Bo. Lets not forget those who are behind the front desk Thank you Jess, Stacy and there's one or more of you at the desk that make /schedule appointments easier for me. I may not know all your names but I remember your faces. I'm so lucky to have this vet for my dog.

I lived in Durham for 6 years and always took my 2 cats to CSAH. I had an awesome experience here with several of the veterinarians, especially Dr. Gillian. She really showed she cared about my cats, especially with my younger cat who has many behavioral issues. They had also made time for me when I found her as a kitten on the street and I needed an appointment the same day.

I always looked forward to visiting the vet. The staff here are all super friendly. One time my cats won their Facebook costume contest and we won some cat treats and a t-shirt! Unfortunately I moved out of Durham, and I'm SO sad that I will no longer be coming here. : Thank you CSAH!

I have never in my life recieved such amazing care for my dogs before I came to Carver St. Animal Hospital. Not only do they care about the animals they also care about the owners. One of my dogs is very old and has a skin condition. They take care of her so well and make me feel so comfortable. They are always willing to answer any question to put you at ease.

There have also been a couple of times I've had to bring my other dog in for an emergency visit and they always had room for me. Dr. Basher is kind, compassionate, and always puts me at ease when it comes to my dogs. I wouldn't send couldn't ask for a better vet.

I've been bringing my puppy here since I brought her home and have been very impressed with the care she's received! All of the doctors are very knowledgeable and attentive. She recently went in for her spay and they made sure to call the next day to check in on her.

These vets love the animals they care for and also the families of those animals. The best vet in Durham!

Friendly, knowledgeable staff, always ready to answer questions. They call within 48 hours after a visit to check on how your pet is doing. Pricing is very reasonable, and they handle everything to make pet owning easier. Wonderful little animal hospital, highly recommend.

I've been going to CSAH for years and wouldn't think to go anywhere else. even now that I live all the way across town, they're worth the drive. Dr. Gillian is wonderful with my pup and so personable that I love just chatting with her when I go. The front desk staff know me and always greet me as if I'm an old friend they haven't seen in a while. The vet techs love my doggo and always shower him with love when we go. Absolutely best vet ever.

Dr. Bashor at Carver Street is very patient with my big dog. The dog hates going, but everyone takes their time and tolerates his bad behavior really well. They are always easy to get on the phone and quick to fill prescriptions, make time for appointments, and explain care for my dog at each appointment.

The vets and staff at CSAH are truly unmatched. The reception staff and vet techs are all incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. Dr. Crabtree is just the absolute best. She's personable, knowledgeable, and really seems to care about every pet she sees. My newly adopted cat has several health problems and Dr. Crabtree always makes sure I understand each treatment option and that my cat and I are comfortable with her recommendations. I can't recommend CSAH enough.

I took my 3 year old hound to Carver Street for the first time this week. He has battled skin issues for the past two years and had a mysterious bump on his nose overnight. Dr. Bashor was great, he gave us more answers and ideas in 30 minutes than we've gotten in 2 years elsewhere. In less than 24 hours, our pup is already seeing relief. The front. office staff and vet techs were also amazing! Made us feel right at home.

I can't express how happy we are to find a practice that truly seems to care about the animals. Pricing is also extremely reasonable! The staff cheerfully welcome clients by name when you walk in. You and your pet quickly get an exam room. The doctors are caring and thorough. If your pet has symptoms they give thorough consideration to that problem before suggesting meds etc. And my dogs like them!

Dr. Crabtree saved my dog's life! She made me feel comfortable and in good hands. She was able to remove a growth that another recommended 'end of life care' for. The staff is amazing and friendly and so caring. The only thing I'm upset about is that I didn't find this place sooner.

I’ve been taking all my dogs there since 2012 and I can’t imagine going anywhere else. These vets and staff go waaaay beyond what is expected and beyond what you pay for. This is the best vet I’ve ever used.

My fur babies have visited the great folks here for the last 17 years and I have felt nothing but total care, compassion and understanding in every visit. After all this time, and all that has transpired, not only do I feel my animals have the best care, it almost feel like family when we visit (in the best possible way).

Dr. Bashor and staff have been amazing. Our dog, Sidney, received the best care here. Dr. Bashor took time to explain things thoroughly and answered all questions regarding Sidney's disease. He was always there to listen whenever we needed him. Words can't explain how truly thankful we are. They truly care about the animals they see. I highly recommend this vet. You will not be disappointed.

Omg yes I would recommend this place! I got great feedback from two folks with working dogs that take their dogs here and I have to say I am so very impressed! One of my dogs was attacked by a yellow jacket nest. I called and told them about it and Dr C personally picked up the phone and told me what to watch for in a reaction and thank goodness she did as he did have a reaction 😐 and my other dogs have all been seen by Dr B for various things in the last few months from routine exams, skin infections and pneumonia.

Staff are professional and well educated, they always work with my crazy schedule and emergencies and the vets really care about my kids. It really meant a lot that Dr B personally took one of my dogs back for a surgical procedure himself. They just do all the little things that make a difference in addition to being extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. I wish I had been going here all along!
