Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and good with my pets. They explain things clearly. They make it as easy as possible for our pets and us! My kitten was getting a vaccine, they were gentle and loving towards him.

Dr. Henderson and her team are simply the best! They have been caring for our Polar Bear all his life (and our beloved Pooklook before him) and we trust no one more with his health and well being. Dr. Henderson is the most professional and knowledgeable vet we've met and most importantly she's always happy to educate and share her knowledge with those of us willing to learn more about the health of our kiddos.

Her passion and devotion for the care of her patients is priceless. The staff is always the most friendly and compassionate towards pets and their humans alike. I am always moved while I wait at their reception area about how courteous and caring they are towards everyone. Finally, I truly appreciate how honest and fair they always are when it comes to costs for services and options available.

They are always transparent and upfront about their recommendations and are usually able to offer alternative options to help out those who may need it. We are so fortunate to have them care for our boy. Thank you Alta Rancho Pet and Bird Hospital.

My fur baby needed to have the staples removed after her spay surgery~~as always, Sara was her super exuberant, helpful self and the tech who removed the staples was F-A-S-T! Thanx for the positive experience for my baby!

We first brought our dogs to Alta Rancho around 1999 and have always had the very best of care from Dr. Henderson, Dr. Shufer, and their staff. We tried a few other vets thinking to save money but came back here and will never stray again. You get what you pay for and my kids are so worth it. The quality of care and the peace of mind that their professionalism and dedication brings makes the choice an easy one.

I had 2 canaries. One was named Yellow. The bird doctor at Alta Rancho said that his leg was broken. He also said the aluminum will continue to make his leg bleed. Canaries are so small that blood loss is serious. I guess he could not saw the aluminum off and fix the leg. He also said that he could refer us to other doctors but they're gonna say the same thing.

I ended up cremating my bird Yellow. Then my other bird Hello did the same exact thing. I went to the Irvine bird doctor Larry and he said he could save all birds and the aluminum breaking their legs is very common. he has 7 canaries he saved and are at his home. He sawed off the aluminum in no time and saved Hello. Please remember my Yellow

We are new to the community and were in need of Veterinary care for our dog. We chose Alta Rancho Pet and Bird Hospital because of the proximity to our home and the great reviews. We couldn't be happier with the care and treatment that we received by all of the staff and Dr. Henderson. I would like to recommend this office to anyone with pet needs, you won't be disappointed and your pet will love you more for going here!

Dr. Shufer really came through for us in a time of need. Our dog was diagnosed with a heart murmur/ failing valve resulting in a backup of fluid in her lungs. Since all of the refered cardiologist were booked for months I located Dr. Shufer and he was able to confirm the problems and prescribe the medications to help our dog.regulate her heart rate and performance. Basically, he saved us! The staff is real friendly and thorough and the communication with everyone has been amazing. I don't want them to get busier but would definitely recommend them!

I was very impressed by Dr. Shufer and the staff at this hospital. Dr. Shufer called both before the procedure and after to explain everything. He even sent me a very good video about heart disease in dogs that made it easy to understand and I am watch over and over as needed. All of the rest of the staff was very friendly as well! I highly recommend this pet hospital.

Dr. Shufer is extremely attentive despite clearly being extremely busy! Plus, all the staff all have a great bedside manner and demonstrate a lot of care and patience. We went to Dr. Shufer for his expertise in cardiology and our little angel, Vanilla, is already doing better, having received a medicine to reduce her coughing. We do wish cardiology patients didn't have to spend the whole day there at the office, but were at least reassured knowing she was in the best hands possible. We feel lucky to have found Alta Rancho Pet & Bird Hospital and will be going back for all our veterinary needs!

I absolutely love the staff here. I have been to multiple other vets in the area for some issues with my baby, I was never satisfied with the service until I was recommended here to Dr. Henderson by neighbors. Just after our first visit she had gained my trust completely, and that should say a lot. I was unaware that baby still had his canines and NONE of the other vets even mentioned.

So I immediately scheduled for the teeth removal, castration, and microchip. The day of his surgery I was a complete wreck, Sara and all the wonderful ladies there calmed my nerves and made me feel comfortable leaving my baby there and for that I am so grateful.

We own two Rottweilers who have always had excellent care from Alta Rancho, the staff is very caring. Our male Rottweiler is VERY difficult and the staff goes out of their way to make sure he gets the care he needs and I assure you this is no easy task. Thank you Dr. Henderson!

We have taken our English Bulldogs to Alta Rancho Pet and Bird Hospital for over 15 years. Everyone who works here is professional, knowledgeable and caring. Bulldogs inherently are plagued with many health problems and having a vet who understands the breed is essential. We are so grateful for the outstanding care our bullies have always received from Dr Henderson and her team.

This hospital is simply wonderful! I had a last minute emergency with my dog on a Saturday. I called and told them my situation. After a brief hold the receptionist told me to bring my dog in. They had an extremely busy schedule, so I'm super grateful that they were able to fit me in. When I got there the front staff was super sweet and helpful. Due to COVID protocols I was not allowed to go into the building, but Dr. Henderson called me shortly after they took my dog in.

The doctor was extremely nice, helpful and explained everything to me. Thank you so much to Dr. Henderson and the staff for making my hectic last minute appointment so easy and stress free. You all are so amazing!

My dog was bit by a stray early Saturday morning and no vet I called was willing to take my dog in except this location. I knew it was going to be hard to find a vet with an open slot especially during Labor Day weekend but this vet not only made space but even performed surgery on my dog. I am extremely grateful and my dog has been recuperating amazingly. They have been checking up in him constantly and it really shows they care about their patients. Highly recommend.

This pet hospital was great, they met us outside to take in my dog so that we could keep social distancing. Everyone was very friendly and the whole process was very smooth. Treated my dog very well too, would come back again!

We love our vet! We have 4 little girls that have been treated professional and loved by them all. We have 2 large birds that have been seeing by them also. They saved my Amazon parrots life! I trust them with our pets!

A great pet hospital with Loving Staff and Doctors! So glad to find Dr. Shuffer and Dr. Henderson, both have restored health to our furry and feathered family members. We are so fortunate to find exceptional professional staff to keep our pets healthy. This clinic should be a model for all pet hospitals!

The staff here are so friendly and accommodating. They answered any questions that I had and provided speedy service. My little guy loves coming here. Thanks for taking such good care of him.

These guys are really caring very nice very professional take really good care of all my doggies would suggest anybody to go to them their prices are fair as far as Fetsko but they never sell you anything you don't need an intake real good loving care of your pets good job guys

We have frequented this veterinarian clinic for many years now with numerous pets. Doctors and staff are patient and caring people. They take the time to explain things thoroughly and always have the pet's welfare as their first interest. We would never go anywhere else unless the doctors here recommended a specialist for one of our pets.

Squeezed me in for an emergency requiring surgery. The staff stayed with me until 7pm. They're all wonderful!

Dr. Schufer is very thorough and a great listener. I appreciate that he always makes himself available for phone calls. He even called to check on my dog the day after his appointment. All of the staff is friendly and helpful.

babies and Dr. Kathy has ALWAYS fought for every one of them. She never gives up & always has my babies quality of life put first. She has been my rock for so many years with so many of my babies.
