Emergency & Urgent Care

We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 6 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and technicians working together to save a pet's life. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately.
We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening, but you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment. If we are unable to schedule an appointment at a time that is convenient, you are welcome to drop off your pet. Our veterinarians will work to examine your pet in between scheduled appointments. Please call ahead to let us know if you wish to drop your pet off.

I called and said my cat was diagnosed with gingivitis and I'm looking for treatment. They told me to bring him in for an exam and that the cost would be $60. I show up, do the exam, and sure enough they diagnose gingivitis. Then they tell me I have to go somewhere else for treatment (and pay for another exam). Why would you have me show up and pay $60 for an exam when I've told you what the issue is and you can't treat it. You owe me $60 as far as I see it. I'll be reporting this to the BBB.

These people saved my dog's life during the pandemic. I couldn't afford the $7000 spinal surgery so they did alternative medicine, specifically Accupuncture and it worked! About $300 dollars and 4-6 weeks later he could walk again! He has been happy and healthy ever since! I really lucked out finding this clinic. Everyone there is AMAZING!

My pitty got bit by a spider or something and had a bad allergic reaction. He had hives all over the place and his eyes were swelling real bad. I have never been to Bouton prior to today. They happily got me in between appointments to check out my pup and they were wonderful! I just moved into the neighborhood and the fantastic folks at Bouton will now be my go to vet! Thank you so much Bouton! See you soon! He is now passed out on my lap looking much much better!

I can't say enough about BVH. DR. Houston and everyone else does such a stand out job. They have cared for so many of our rescue pups and they will going forward. I had to bring our Chihuahua Jake in today and they were so sweet and caring. He got meds and proper care. He's now resting comfortably. We've been at Bouton for almost 10 years and won't go anywhere else.

BVH is a family and they certainly welcomed us and our two dogs into theirs. As first time dog owners, we had many concerns despite our research prior to getting the dogs, but BVH reassured us constantly and gave us support whenever we needed it. When we enter the street to BVH, our dogs (whom recognize the path) are always excited and cannot wait to get to BVH's Puppy Day Care. I highly recommend BVH as well as their PDC to anyone. Without a doubt, they will treat you like family.

I recently found out my 5 year old cat had chronic kidney disease and she sadly lost the battle earlier this month. The staff at Bouton were amazing, helpful, and truly did everything they could for both Luna. and my family. I received a sympathy card in the mail from the staff that touched my heart. I've never known a veterinary hospital that was so personable and kind! Truly and outstanding staff, will be taking my current and all future pets to Bouton!

I have taken many pets to Bouton over the last 15 years. Some have been my babies. Others have been foster dogs. I know multiple rescues use Bouton because of their great care. The entire staff is caring, loving toward my pets and offers the best care possible. It took me going to four different vets before I lucked upon Bouton and I will never go anywhere else!!
