The Richman Animal Clinic was founded in 1984 and then purchased by Dr. Scott Pawling in 2019. Our team is committed to educating our clients in how to keep your pets healthy year-round, with good nutrition and exercise.
Our clinic offers a wide range of services, from simple checkups and wellness care to dentistry, microchipping, surgery, and more. Our clinic is equipped to perform advanced diagnostic work onsite, meaning your pet gets diagnosed accurately and treated quickly. We also offer laser therapy for recurring pain, hip dysplasia, arthritis, wounds, and trauma and tendon/ligament injuries, among many other ailments. We are pleased to serve our community and will treat your pet as if it were our own.

Richman Animal Clinic's comprehensive annual exams include checking their overall health from nose to tail and looking for any changes that may have occurred.
At Richman Animal Clinic we strongly recommend that you have your pet fitted with a microchip and keep the information in the chip keeping up-to-date. Microchips drastically increase the likelihood of your pet being returned to you if they ever get lost or run away. Microchips are incredibly tiny radio frequency identification devices implanted in pets.

Dr. Pawling is very tentative to your concerns. He takes the time to listen and does not rush you. I have been looking for a new vet and am very happy to have found him. The staff are friendly and kind as well. Reasonable prices. Nice place, nice people. Thanks for getting us in, in such sort notice! I am very grateful!

I do not think I could put into words how much Dr. Richman and his staff mean to me and my fur family. He is the first vet that I have met that genuinely cares about the wellbeing of my animals. Each visit here is a pleasure, and I was pleasantly surprised the first time that I received a phone call from the office just to check in on my senior dog.
I have never worked with a vet that takes the time to call and check in and see how things are going. I recently had to put my 16 old collie down and I could not have asked for a more supportive group of people to help me through the process- I received a sympathy card from doc in the mail and a paw print from Charlie that I will cherish forever- during his last few months Dr. Richman did everything possible to be sure that Charlie and I were both doing well, I will never forget that. I will not be taking my 4 dogs anywhere but Dr. Richman's office.
