Dr. Heyward Boyette

Dr. Heyward Boyette graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994 and joined Cherokee Trail Veterinary Hospital in 1998. He became a partner at Cherokee Trail Veterinary Hospital in 2000. Beginning in 2007 Dr. Boyette started sharing time between Cherokee Trail Veterinary Hospital and Lake Murray Animal Hospital. Dr Boyette has a wife and two daughters and serves on the board of Directors of the Carolina Ballet, is a member of St. Albans Church and the Lexington Rotary Club. Dr. Boyette is an avid reader and also enjoys sketching and Ohio State football.

Appointments were available in a VERY reasonable time, the Facility is spotless, the Staff was kind, polite and competent. Dr. Swenson knew exactly what she was doing and her guidance improved the comfort and quality of life for Becky the Beagle.

The doctors and staff are very knowledgeable and accommodating. The office is always clean, bright and cheerful. We always get wonderful personal attention. They are honest and don't try to sell unneeded services. We would not go anywhere else!

Everyone at Lake Murray seemed genuinely interested in my cat, they took excellent care of her and explained everything to me. Boo made herself at home and I was satisfied with the clinic!

They staff is very helpful and informative. They were very polite and kind. The prices are average for a small animal vet clinic. They are very caring for their patients. I will be returning here for all of my pets future needs. Also a great location only a few minutes from our house. There is not a lot of vets out this way so it's great to have one close.

When calling to get an appointment, they were able to get me in that day. They were very friendly. The vet did an amazing job with all of my dogs shots at his annual check up and treated him as if he were her own. I would highly recommend taking your pets to them.
