Lucy came to us after a source of unknown trauma fractured her jaw while she was outside one day. Dr. Pettigrew used a special jaw repair technique for her treatment. First, he placed three to four orthopedic pins through her jaw. He then attached plastic tubing on the outside surface of the pins. Finally, he filled the tubing with a special acrylic material, Acrylx, which solidifies and holds everything securely in place.

Everyone in this building is SO kind. The receptionists greet our furry friends with a smile and lots of love. Doctor Pettigrew was very thorough with my pup's checkup & kept telling him how cute he was. We had a great time there, and I never hesitate to recommend FCV to any of my friends or family. We love the staff there! :

Very friendly, very kind, very honest! We have 17 dogs that are always wxcited to go to Fountain City Vet because when they arrive they k ow that they are loved just as family by everyone there. Fountain does it all and even has their own online store. It is refreshing to know that their work is just as much a passion as it is a career.

Critical: Professionalism Dr. Pettigrew needs to retire. He is rude, uncompassionate, grumpy, and irritable. He continuously cut me off when talking about my pet and describing what was going on. I would not recommend him to anyone. If you take your pet here, I highly suggest you ask for a different doctor.

I take to dogs to these people. A 5 month old husky and a 13 year old pomeranian. They handled both of my dogs in a different manner because they are different dogs. I love coming to fountain city. The staff is really friendly and the doctors are always helpful with questions about the dogs. I would recommend taking any animals you have here. : I also find that they are reasonably affordable.

We adopted a male terrior mix in October 2017 from the Williams County shelter, we took Hulk to a vet for his rabies shot but I was not satisfied with the way the vet or his staff treated the animals. A week ago Hulk needed to see a vet about flea allergies so a friend said to try Fountain City, I called on a Wednesday and had my appointment for Friday am, upon arrival the staff was so helpful, and courteous, we waited less than 5 minutes when we were taken into an examining room and within 3 minutes the dr. came in. I was totally pleased the treatment Hulk received, the knowledge of the staff and the time they took to answer our questions. Fountain City will be where we continue to go.

Our dog Brody has been having some colitis issues over the last 5 weeks and we couldn't be happier with the care he has been receiving. Dr. Adams has called us 2 times way after hours to update us on test results and to see how Brody is doing. I can tell she is as worried as we are. And the staff is always friendly and caring.Thank you Fountain City Vets for knowing these are our babies and we love them and for giving them 1st class care.

I've taken my fur baby there since I have gotten her and they have always worked on giving her the best care they can and are always checking up on her. We got a new pup and started him there too and again the best care that can be given. They all go above and beyond to make sure you and your pet is comfortable and they even send birthday e-cards for their "customers" and I think that is showing how much they do care about our fur babies...Thank you to all of the staff for going above and beyond to make sure my babies are well taken care of and making us feel comfortable. You all are AMAZING!!!

I wouldn't take my pets to anyplace else! In addition to providing excellent care for my dogs - they offer extended weekday hours and Saturday appointments. I work in Defiance but live in Bryan - these hours make it so convenient for me as I don't have to leave work early for appointments or to pick up scripts. Awesome staff all around! Would highly recommend.

Love this place! All of the people here are incredibly nice and honestly care about the animals they treat and the humans that the animal belongs to. My cat and my dog (who was a rescue from the Humane Society) both go here. The staff here loves my dog, as they have treated her from prior health issues when she was at the Humane Society. Great place to send your animals!!
