The staff at Watauga Animal Hospital was great when our little 12 year old shih-tzu had serious gastro-intestinal problems this weekend. Both veterinarians who saw her were wonderful, and now our little Maggie is back to her normal self! We are so thankful. The receptionists were also very helpful and friendly. We love this clinic and plan to bring our fur babies here from now on!

I was very satisfied with the care they provided for my fur baby! He had a split dew claw that became very inflamed. My normal vet was not able to get my boy in until later in the week. I called around and they were the only office that made him a priority! I called at 7:44am and they were able to get me in at 8:00am. The technicians and staff were very welcoming and made sure to explain everything the were going to do. I highly recommend Watauga Animal Hospital!

As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile as a first time Patient the fill out form was easy. Took us in within 10 minutes and the Dr and the Technician were gentle with my chi... found the problem and they explained everything so I could understand very thorough and friendly... check out was a breeze and prices are reasonable I would recommend them highly...

I am very picky with vets and have had a difficult time finding one that's knowledgeable and has a friendly staff. The Watauga Animal Hospital was recommend to me (thanks Tammy Angel-Clark) and I made an appointment for my very-sick dog after two other vets continually charged me a ton of money for testing. I emailed the results to Dr. Tran prior to our appointment and she came prepared to our appointment with two pages of notes, suggestions, and possible plans for my Zeus.
She explained why the previous vets had continued testing, and why she scientifically disagreed with their thought process. I knew my dog was very sick. She had bad news for me, but I knew it was the right decision.
Dr. Tran and the staff stayed in for lunch so we could wait for my son to come say goodbye to Zeus. She even brought him some of her personal lunch on a plate for his last meal, and brought him a blanket to lay on while we waited.
They made a very difficult situation as pleasant as it could be. This was three weeks ago (6/29/18). Today (7/20/18) we received a very nice condolence card and a paw print of Zeus! This is not something we paid for - the vet/staff did this solely for compassion. I immediately broke into tears. I will be getting a frame for it today. They are not at all convenient for me, but I will gladly make the drive for my other dogs. Thank you Dr. Tran, Nikki, and everyone else at Watauga Animal Hospital.

Love this vet and the staff! We have 2 dogs, one very healthy and one with major ongoing medical issues. CPO has treated them both and have given them both great care. In the case of our sick dog, they have been great through his (numerous) emergencies and they always call to check up on him after our latest crisis. They are also really great about giving you an estimate of the costs for the recommended treatment before you proceed. Dr. Tran will tell you what the ideal treatment would be but will also work with you to pick the most crucial items to keep costs down.
This is essential for us as the recommendation is *always* hospitalization but it is not financially feasible for us to do that every time. Her recommendation to hospitalize is legitimate, not bill padding, but she knows we can do a lot of his care at home.
Summary: Good for basic care and excellent for high needs animals.

Our chihuaha had dental surgery 2 weeks ago and received wonderful care. The technician answered all our questions and we also met the doctor after the surgery as well. She explained things so well and gave great advice for future care on our dog's teeth. They also checked in with us to see how are dog was doing. Our dog came through with flying colors and clearly felt better. Watauga Animal Hospital ROCKS!!

Dr. Tran and the staff of Watauga Animal Hospital are the most caring and loving professionals I have ever encountered. Their sincere love of our pets is evident in how we are treated and our beloveds. My sweet boxer had to be put to sleep after being diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma. That is the worst of cancers with no chance for improvement. Dr. Tran and her staff were incredibly caring and loving in their treatment of my Enzo. A beautiful surprise a week later was a mold of his paw, his name, and a heart for a keepsake. God bless them all!

They were very compassionate with our fur baby and helped us as we had to let her go. I just received a very special package in the mail with our fur baby's paw print and a card, it was so sweet, it brought me to tears again, I wasn't expecting it. It was very thoughtful. Thank you so much for caring for us and our sweet ol' girl!

Highly recommend. We had to send our Dozer boy to heaven last week. The staff was amazing. Very friendly and sympathetic. The vet actually cried with us. That meant a lot to me. It was a very difficult thing to do and to have the vet on the ground with us and making sure we were ok was pretty special

Dr. Tran and the staff at Watuga Animal are the best! We recently moved to Texas and didn't think we could ever find another vet that was as good as our hometown one. We were wrong! Everyone is loving and kind towards our dogs. Dr.Tran is amazing, caring, friendly and knowledgeable. She had some suggestions on how to retrain my stubborn boy dogs from marking their territory in our house. So, working on it now! She takes time to listen and I never feel rushed. Very highly reccomend this vet clinic.

We had to bring in our elderly dog to be put "to sleep". She was 18-1/2 and had lived a good life but her time had come. The staff was absolutely wonderful! Compassionate, professional, informative, I can't say enough good things. They gave us all the time we needed to be with our pet before, during and after the procedure. They then took the time to send us a wonderful reminder of her (a small heart with her paw print and her name) and a condolence card with all of the staff's signatures and notes of sympathy. I feel that went above and beyond.

I have been taking my two dogs here for a 3-4 years. They take great care of your pets as if they were their own. One of my dogs was 13 and he was paralyzed. He passed away a few weeks ago from his illness but the staff at this hospital always took care of Kurby and worked very well with his handicap. We would board him for days at a time occasionally and I never had to worry about the level of attention and care they gave to my dog.
They made him feel so special everytime he came through the door. I loved that everyone knew him by name. They made Kurby very comfortable in his last moments and all the staff were so genuine in their condolences. I am so glad that he was surrounded by people who loved him not only including me and my family but also the staff who loved and cared for him for years too. Thank y'all very much! Best animal hospital I've ever been to.
