Timberview Veterinary Hospital recommends that your puppy receive his/her first distemper vaccine between 6 and 8 weeks of age. Puppies require a series of vaccinations due to a temporary immunity provided by his/her mother at birth. The Distemper combination vaccine is given in a series every 3 to 4 weeks until 4 months of age.

This place muzzled my dog when I asked them not to, it drives him crazy and he tears at his face until it comes off. Got a new puppy, tried to schedule first shots, earliest day was 3 months away, for my pups first shots. Called to get my dogs records and was told they couldn't do that. Very few of the staff there are polite and the older vet is scared of bigger dogs. I will never go back to this place

Critical: Professionalism The doctor was extremely rude while euthanizing my family's cat. I'm sorry but if anything we just needed her to be compassionate. I will NEVER recommend this vet to anyone. This was the last straw. Also I'm a Veterinary technician with 6 years of experience and I've never worked with a doctor who would act like that period.

I moved an hour away from home and found them for my vet here for the two dogs I brought with me two years ago. My one dog had surgery a couple months ago and they were awesome. fast forward to today and my cat of 20+ years needing to cross the rainbow bridge. they made sure even though that cat wasn't a patient there that they took the best care of all of us. I drove an hour to make sure my pet had the best care and they definitely held up to that. No other place I'd go at this rate! Dr. Sara is amazing and truly cares.

Timberview has been my Veterinary Doctor for years. The office is always clean and everyone is friendly and helpful; all staff members. When needed, if I've ever had to call after hours, Dr. Sara has immediately responded and even during regular hours was happy to speak to me on the phone or discuss my animals issue/s via email. Timberview will be happy to tell you where you can save money; even if it means purchasing elsewhere.
This in itself speaks to their character. Aside from Dr. Sara and Dr. Shuey, the office manager and Vet tech's will go above and beyond to assist in helping find a product your pet needs if they do not carry it.

Our Betsy dog was not feeling good for about a week. Dr. Sara took very good care of her explain everything to us and ran a battery of tests (all came back negative). Gave her some new medication and within a day Betsy started to feel more like herself. The technician who helped Dr. Sara was very nice and easy to talk too.

All of the staff here are patient & friendly. My pet has been seen by Dr Sara & recently Dr Shoey. They were both super patient & offered suggestions for maintaining my pet's health. I really like that they have evening hours available Monday thru Saturday. That way I do not have to take off work. A 5% discount is offered for cash payment. I am really glad to have found this practice.

Love it here, and my dog loves to go there! Dr. Sara takes the time to explain everything, and will do everything she can to make your pet's visit to her office go easily. She has crawled around on the floor to treat my energetic lab! She even returns worried calls way after normal operating hours. Five stars for the entire staff!

The staff was extremely friendly, they were able to get my Gator in very quickly. The vet tech was extremely knowledgeable, the vet Dr Shue (I think I spelled that right) was direct and to the point, something I love. My Gator boy was happy too, he was walking around purring, rubbing up on the vet and the tech. I found my new veterinarian, not to mention they called the next day to see how my boy was doing!!! They are just awesome!
