Hemet Animal Hospital has been in existence in the Hemet valley since the early 1900's when Dr Roulston performed both the duties of local veterinarian and undertaker, as was common in those days. In the 1920's Dr Roulston left the valley and sold the hospital to Dr John "Jack" Caldwell who practiced veterinary medicine at Hemet Animal Hospital until the1940's. After World War II, Dr William Aldridge purchased the present location and converted the buildings into a Hemet Veterinary Hospital. He opened for business in 1946 and continued until 1950 when he sold the hospital to Dr Jay Wallis.
For several decades, Dr Wallis was the only veterinarian within 30 miles and performed both small animal and large animal medicine and surgery. In the late 1960's, Dr Wallis suspended his large animal operation and concentrated his medicine and surgery solely in small animals. In 1987, after 37 years of practice Dr Wallis sold the hospital to Dr Perry Kruckenberg and his wife, Dr Bernadine Stallings, who are the current owners of Hemet Animal Hospital. Many changes have occurred over the past 25 years with the addition of digital xray, ultrasound, state of the art anesthesia and anesthesia monitoring, as well as internal medicine specialists and surgeons available for consultation and referral. 2011 marks the 105th year of existence of Hemet Animal Hospital and Drs Kruckenberg and Stallings will continue this tradition well into the future.

We have been going here since they handled our dying poodle many months ago. We have gone from tears of sadness to tears of joy. Now, this is where we take our new Beagle Puppy. They are really fast and efficient, here. These are pictures of the little guy before his first visit and after his last one.

The friendliest animal place when your baby dog is sick. The staff is awesome. My baby was not scared. Fast results on lab work if needed. The faster the results, the faster your baby dogs will be feeling better! The prices are reasonable, and convenience is a super plus! Yay for the Hemet Animal Hospital!

The doctor and the tech were wonderful, very compassionate and caring. Some of the office staff were also very nice but there was one of the staff that was confrontational and insisted that she told me how much a medication cost before she ran my card when that was not the case. I would have purchased the medication anyway but there was no need for the confrontation. Maybe a little more training in customer service would help.

My dog passed away on November 1st and within 1 day I received a condolence card from Hemet Animal Hospital and today (11/13/19 ) I went to pick up my dog's ashes. The employees were polite and respectful. His ashes were in a discreet bag with his name on a personalized name tag. Inside the bag I received a cedar box with a small lock on the outside and his name plate on top of the box with his ashes, and a small white rose attached to his dog tag inside.
I also received a clipping of his fur and an impression of his paw print, a certificate and 2 poems of remembrance. The Angle Paws pet crematorium were the Hemet Animal Hospital sent him was reasonably affordable and took great care of him and took great lengths to to preserve memories of my pet that I will cherish forever. I highly recommend both business's.

I was looking for a vet to take an Emergency case as my dog started coughing up blood out of no where. Being pregnant I didn't want to go with my husband so he took my FreddieBear on his own. It was a Friday afternoon...we got a call that more blood work could help narrow the issues down. After some testing we were refereed to a specialist suspecting cancer.
More tests could've been done...they could've kept FreddieBear under their care to make more money...they didn't. After numerous visits...with me crying during most (pregnancy hormones...) the staff has always been patient and understanding. We have another dog that will be a regular with this Vet. Highly recommend them.

I've been going to this clinic for years. Something about the staff always put me to ease. Not always the best with people customer service wise BUT they are the best with my animals. I have had both amazing interactions with this facility and disappointing ones depending on the vet and the technicians
Brandi Bogner is an unbelievable vet however and I really do trust her unconditionally when it comes to my dogs. Unfortunately not every time I come in she is available. This vet is on the pricey side but when it comes to your animals it is worth it.

My 18 year old cat, who has stage 2 kidney failure, was in need of care about two months after moving to this valley. Hemet Animal Hospital was very kind to make an appointment and request his records from his previous vet, and Dr. Bernadine Stallings spent a great deal of time exploring his health history, to make informed treatment recommendations.
In the past I've always taken my babies to feline specialists, because so many vets' practices are more focused on dogs... but Dr. Stallings was very skilled with my elderly cat, generous with her time, and more knowledgable about cats than any feline practitioner I've met in recent years! And their fees are VERY reasonable. I highly recommend Hemet Animal Hospital !!!

Went to take my dogs there and everyone was super nice and wait is not long. While waiting I noticed the animals in the back got taken really good care of. Animals got happy everytime they came in. I was scheduled in the morning and before anyone else came in they would weight them. Would recommend people to go there for their pets. After even did a check up call to see how they were doing. I dont know if every place does that but when they said it, it felt like they actually cared about my babies.
