Overall they provide good service and care for your animal. However, the wait time is too long, so be ready to spend couple of hours for something like vaccination and more if there is a serious problem. I stopped going to their place because they couldn't find out what is wrong with my cat (she has some sort of allergy or at least that what they said) and kind of refused to do more tests. We spent a lot of money and cat is still not completely fine.

Unless you're getting VERY SIMPLE things done such as shots, don't do business here. It feels like this places just tries and milks customers for their money. They definitely didn't care about the welfare of my fur baby. They turned a 2 step process and turn it into a 5 step process so they could get more money out of me. There are only 2 doctors and the old doctor literally told the aid he wasn't comfortable doing a very simple surgery and come back when the young doctor was in the office.
I came back for the young doctor, Sammy, and he wanted to make a simple one time surgery into 2 surgeries. Many other military couples have had similar experience with this place. Take your animals else where.

Hello, today is Friday, 8th of April. I accompanied my Brother to this clinic. Dog Bunchy, needed some shots. It was approximately 4 p.m. Not too busy. Wait was about 30 minutes. The Tech that attended us(I apologize for not knowing her name). Was very courteous & professional. Folks, if you are in need of a clinic for your pet(s), consider bringing it/them here.

I've been taking my dogs for 2 years almost 3. I have a Husky and these team were the only people that knew how to handle her. Today i took my girl in for something on her eyes and unfortunately i left the place very disappointed. First time seeing this assistant named "Mikaela", since we walked in she looked scared of my dog, refused to handle her.
She came to me saying that doctor "recommended" some anxiety medication that will sedate her for a next visit or future visit. She wasn't able to even figure it out what was going on with my dog and her eyes so doctor had to see her personally. Doctor (Dr. Gibson) had a very unprofessional attitude saying at first that they didn't feel safe around my dog unless she was muzzled.
He didn't even took a closed look to her eyes not even touched her (while she was muzzled). All he said on that $55.00 visit was that he trusted his assistants and if they don't feel safe he won't either. Like i said before I've been going there for 2-3 years, bever has any complaint about my dog being "aggressive", we will always had good experiences until now. So I paid $55.00 for a visit that basically i am not even sure if they took a good look on her plus a medication.

Took my dog here because his right eyelid was drooping, red and clearly irritated. The vet tech took my dog to the back to see the vet and came back in saying the vet thinks it's just due to his old age. his other eye was perfectly fine, so this is clearly not due to age. When I asked to see the vet and ask him more questions I was informed 'he was about to go into surgery'. So I paid $100 to not even get to speak with a vet or have a thorough exam of my dog. Will never return or recommend this place to anyone!

Dr. Sammy is the best, hands down! I once had a dog named George; I loved him to pieces. Dr. Sammy has been there since George was a pup till his passing. My boy George passed away due to Addison's disease. Dr. Sammy and his staff are very compassionate about their clients. Pup parents, I know you love your pup as much as I do. You can rely on Dr. Sammy and his staff to take care of your pup.

I have been to this vet twice for my two of my cats. I didn't have any problems but they did charge me a lot. But that's fine whatever for my cats. Im here for military and went to see my family in Ohio and I sent my two cats to this clinic for a week and a couple of days. I called them while I was on vacation to see if they were okay. Lady said everything was fine, I pick them up on January 3rd and they tell me that my cat had a Rabies shot.
My cat did not need a shot he was updated on all his vaccines. And like I stated I sent my cats here before and I gave them all there records. They want to tell me they only had one cats records and not the other cat records once I picked them up. Why not tell me while I'm dropping them off? They didn't not call me to say they didn't have his records they didn't tell me when I drop them off that they didn't have one cats medical records.
So now my cat has a lump on his side they say it's normal but he isn't acting like himself anymore. What vet takes a cat for a week and not ask for his medical records. Definitely a money hungry business. I will not be coming back!

I am from DFW and I'm currently in El Paso for work. This morning I noticed my 6 month old female puppy began showing signs of a UTI. As a former vet tech I know veterinary medicine pretty well. We came in expecting a urine sample to be taken to confirm the UTI and some antibiotics. Instead, the vet decided that my 6 month old puppy was "too young" for a urinalysis and was going to treat her purely based off of her symptoms.
They gave her a penicillin shot in between the shoulder blades. Penicillin does normally sting a little bit when it is first injected however, my dog was SCREAMING, I mean writhing in pain all the way out to the car. She was in so much pain she proceeded to try and bite my significant other as he slowly removed her harness once she was back in my vehicle.
This behavior is absolutely not like her at all. When I walked back into the clinic concerned as this is NOT a normal reaction to a penicillin shot, the staff laughed at the fact that my dog could be heard crying out and whining from my vehicle. I was extremely uncomfortable with the fact that the vet would not come into the exam room to see my pet.
My pet was removed from our exam room and taken to the back for the duration of her exam. To say the least, I am extremely dissatisfied with this experience. This experience was traumatizing for my puppy and I'm incredibly disappointed. To laugh at an animal who is CLEARLY in pain is so disgusting. The staff here should be ashamed. I DO NOT recommend this vet clinic whatsoever. Do better Eastwood. Very disheartening.

The worst place I've ever been to They programmed our dog for surgery When we took him for surgery and drop them off 30 minutes before the surgery called us to say that he would be a high risk because of his heart We asked why was we never told us before And we were told that we should've read the paperwork they gave us I told him to cancel the surgery and we were there to pick them up They told us that was fine but we would have to pay for the medication they have given him This place is just so focused on charging money and they don't know what they're doing they don't care about their dogs

Horrible experience for my pet and I. Do not bring your pets here, they do not care! First off one of the customer service at the front desk is terrible, as they are either on their phone or talking amongst each other, paying little attention to you or your pet , they seem annoyed if you bother them with a question. I had dropped my kitten off for his neuter surgery around 8:20 in the morning and picked him up after they called and said he would be ready by 2:30 PM.
When I went into pick him up they brought him out in his carrier that I brought him in and I noticed there was poop just laying in there. I had to ask for a glove to get it out because I don't want my pet sitting in poop... So it seems after the surgery was done, he just sat in his small carrier the whole time. They did not have any printed aftercare instructions ready and so I had to sit and wait awhile with him to get those.
I was told he had sutures placed and needed to come back in 2 weeks to have them removed, as well as a 3-day post op. After getting home I realized there was actually poop stuck to him and on his tail which seemed to have been for a while. I know it didn't happen in my car as I was keeping an eye on him sleeping. It was a nightmare trying to get it unstuck, especially because my baby was in pain trying to pull it off his fur.
I was extremely concerned that his sutures could get infected because he had just been sitting in his own poop for who knows how long! He also had to poop as soon as he got home and I let him out, so he must've been trying to hold it the entire time. This is so unacceptable and unhygienic. It just seems like they do the surgery and load them up in their carriers to go home right after without any bathroom break.
Also after I tried to clean him off, I noticed some abrasions possibly from trimming his hair and they knicked him causing more redness and irritation for him. When I took him back for his post op, I was informed that he actually did not get sutures as I was told previously, and instead glue was used (which is fine), but how was I informed that he had sutures in the beginning and that he needed to have them removed in 2 weeks, but now later told glue was placed??
There seems to be no communication whatsoever in this place which is extremely frustrating. I will never go back here and recommend to not take any pet here as I hate to see any animals suffer more than necessary, and I am glad I do not have to bring my pet back for a suture removal. Just awful!

It's ok but I do have to admit that the people who answers the phone and are at the front desk are rude. Our puppy was doing a bit of a progress with his allergy medication. Whoever they denied us the prescription for us to be able to get it somewhere else which is less expensive. They are kind of on the expensive side. Luckily we were able to find a more affordable and friendlier place for our puppy to continue his allergy medication before it got worse. We were able to take him inn that same day we called to check for any available appointments. He got his medication for half the price.

My cat was in need of a nail trimming, very simple procedure. Last time we took him around same time and the tech was very friendly and took care of it in five minutes. This time we walked in at same time and right away the man that was sweeping just turned us down. We told him it was just a nail trim so he went and asked. He came back and said they already took last patient and they only had one doctor.
We let him know a doctor doesn't need to do a nail trim and the rest of the staff there teamed up and still turned us down. Luckily, we found another vet nearby that took care of our fur baby. We drove 25 minutes with a nervous cat for them to turn us away. We definitely will not be going back and we have a few family members who go there as well who will not be going back either.
Don't waste your time here. Even if you go before their specified hours, you may be turned down. There's a vet two minutes away who were very friendly and not in a hurry to go home before their shift ends.

I love this clinic, I really do. Competent, loving staff who seem to actually know what they are doing. I've had my dog 4 years and have not taken her to the same vet twice as I am very picky about my baby's care, yet here I am at Eastwood for the fourth time in a row! I think we finally found "our vet". I also live 40 mins away from Eastwood and I think it's 100% worth the drive.
I did dock off one star because the wait times in the parking lot are a bit excessive. A battle I'm willing to fight to get my baby the right care though. We pack snacks and drinks and make a day out of the vet visit! Thank you Eastwood for being just what my babies need! Love your patient, Lila and her human, Jennette!

Eastwood Animal Clinic saved the life of my brand new puppy, Jake! He was born with a serious internal defect. Dr. Sammy and his excellent support team performed emergency surgery, right after surgery, Jake's heart stopped. They performed life saving measures and saved his life! Dr. Sammy called me twice during surgery to keep me updated. Jake today ( only 1 month later) is healthy and happy.
He is enjoying life with his brother Murphy. The doctors and the staff are superb and kind and professional and so very caring. They are the best in town. Absolutely the best! As you can see in the pics, Jake (black coat) and Murphy (brown coat) are adorable and healthy. Cheers to Eastwood Animal Clinic!

I really can’t say enough good things about the staff here at Eastwood. They are so caring, and they really spend the time to care for your pets but also the owner! We took our two cats and our dog there today because they are all sneezing and one of our cats is worse off than the other two. This cat is my soul cat! I was so upset and crying and the tech didn’t make me

If option to give zero stars I would select that one instead. I boarded my puppies at Eastwood Animal Clinic MLK weekend. My fur babies are up to date with all vaccinations including kennel cough vaccine. Both of my puppies ended up getting sick from clinics UNCLEANLINESS or mixing sick animals with well animals. I informed clinic and manager Lanytte stated there was nothing she can do.
I took my fur babies to be examined and accrued an additional $125 vet bill. I checked in at 3:28 pm and was attended at 6:25pm. A 3 HOUR WAIT!! Upon arrival to my home one of the medicine container was COMPLETELY EMPTY! Their page claims they care for the well being of our animals, but that is completely false! They are sure to get payment but not verify prescription is given.
I was unable to do anything that evening 01/26/21, since after 6pm they can leave you in their parking lot but they will not answer anymore calls. The next morning I call to inform them of their error and Lanytte called me a liar, why would I lie? Lanytte (the manager) did not take any accountability, no empathy, nor apology, but she hung up on me TWICE and before she hung up on me second time she stated clinic will no longer render services to my fur babies!
Why would we go back to a clinic that exposing them to illnesses and robs them of their medicine. Veterinarian refused to speak with me, as per staff he does not handle "complaints" I never talked to veterinarian when my fur babies were examined. I asked receptionist does your vet not speak to customers to explain treatment or animal symptoms? Receptionist stated he did, however that is another service I was DENIED!

I brought my senior German Shepherd rescue and a stray puppy we adopted here and they were very kind and thorough. I appreciate the reasonable cost and they welcome questions and give good suggestions. Sometimes the wait can take a little while (they're walk-in only) but it's worth it and we'll be coming back.

Took this lil guy in after he got attacked by a bigger dog. Receptionist was so friendly and attentive. Stated to come on in and walk-ins were encouraged. The staff truly cares during this Covid time and came out to the vehicle to help, and despite the freezing temperatures were very friendly. I had 3 separate staff members check to make sure i had been helped. Doctor was informative and explained everything in layman’s terms for me. Best part was how economical everything came out to be! Highly recommend!

I first brought my kitten here last year when we moved the the El Paso area. We really loved the facility and the staff! I love that appointments are not necessary here. We now have 2 more cats that we have brought in for their exams and shot to stay up to date. Everyone is so friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We are especially thankful for them at this time during the pandemic.
They are offering car side service to practice social distancing. It may not be ideal for most because the wait times may be longer, but we don’t mind. We’re happy they are keeping us all in mind.

Everyone in the clinic was very Nice and Patient. We brought our Titan in but he was in very bad shape. We were given enough information to understand that it was in the best interest to put Titan to sleep so he would not suffer. Don't get me wrong it hurts so bad to see our loved one put to sleep but at least he is no longer in pain. Thank you to the staff of Eastwood Animal Clinic for being so understanding and patient to let us take the time to let our baby go and be with him on his final moments.

We were very impressed with the excellent and exemplary care Dr. Dashley provided! She is a well-versed veterinarian and I liked that she delineated a plan of action and provided various treatment options. I only wish we would have gone to see her sooner. Dr. Dashley sets the gold standard in veterinary care! We were equally impressed with the professionalism and courteousness of Matt, Practice Manager, and all the staff.

Dr. Robinson and everyone at the clinic were very attentive to my pet's needs and my constant questions. Not only were they efficient when handling my cat, but also affectionate, helpful and knowledgeable. They educate you without being condescending, patronizing, or judgemental. And their prices are more than competitive. Thank you!

Dr. Robinson and staff have done an amazing job with n helping Brisket recover. They have been very supportive and keep me up to date throughout his hospitalization. I've been taking my dogs to other vets before and I finally found a reliable one and very kindhearted. Thank you Dr. Robinson for everything you are doing for my baby to recover.

I brought my schnauzer in for surgery and treatment after she was attacked by a pit bull during a walk in my neighborhood. Dr. Gibson and his staff provided excellent immediate medical care and treatment for my dog during this critical time. Dr. Gibson made his self available at all hours and showed great passion and commitment to saving Pepper's life. Eastwood Animal Clinic saved Pepper's life and we are grateful for their excellent service and devotion.

This weekend was my first time taking my pet after he was unjured. It was an emergency so we had no appointment, which was not an issue with them at all! They made me feel more at ease and took good care of him. Dr. Gibson sincerely cared and I could tell he loves animals. They performed his surgery shortly after and he came out great! Thank you so much for caring for our fur baby.

I brought my 3yr old Boston terrier for emergency c-section and was immediately seen with no rules about making an appointment as others that I had called or even walked into one with my dog in pain and was told needed appt...Finally walking into Eastwood Clinic we were treated with such friendliness & caring attitudes..Explaining the procedure in a calming manner but yet specifying the importance of it for our baby's sake.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I want to thank everyone for being so kind and thoughtful at one of the worst time of my life. It was an unforgettable, sad bitter sweet moment whispering how much I loved my little Shelby as she slipped peacefully away. I will never forget your understanding as I cried hysterically. Again, thank you and I'm so grateful for taking my Shelby to Eastwood Animal Clinic!!! Peace and love to ALL!
