The staff is welcoming and cares about your pet, and more most importantly knows your pet personally. Any vet interaction is thorough with the pet's needs in mind and everything explained as needed. Their boarding and grooming are also top notch and never had any issues in boarding a 75 lb dog for multiple days if out of town. Would recommend!

Thank you to Dr. Katie who listened and helped figure out why Zoey was vomiting more frequently when our other vet blew it off. She tried meds, ran labs and finally she made a change to Zoey's diet with prescription food and so far so good. Dr Katie is our hero and we have found a new vet provider for sure. Thank for all the kindness you showed to us being new to you all. Also a shout out to Kelsey for being there to assist.

The vet came in at 0100 am to help my conure who had been attacked by my dog. She was very kind and very gentle with my bird Alice. Having not treated birds and telling me this upfront she called a vet at ku animal hospital to be sure she was prescribing the correct antibiotic. I'm a nurse and I truly respect honesty and the ability to know when to seek confirmation from another dr.
For all patients. Human and animal. I feel very fortunate that she cared enough to get out of bed on a weekend night/ morning to help my bird and I. She will forever be in our hearts. I can't express our appreciation enough.

I’ve worked for every veterinarian in GB except Country side although I have worked for veterinarians who have also worked there. I love AMC! I love the vets, the staff, the service and most of all, the true love and kindness they show all the animals. Good job and keep it up. Oh, by the way, you won’t go broke providing routine care for your pet.

I can not thank your staff enough for all the kind and gentle words they had for us as we brought our best friend, Boomer, in to be laid to rest!! Your staff was very polite, professional, and thorough with all the explanations we needed!! Boomer was in great hands, as he always has been since he was a pup!! We lost Boomer on Friday June 8th he was just shy of 12 years old!!

Dr Nick and Dr Austin, Jolene and Dr Ty and everyone were great today when a routine exam and vaccinations turned into a dog in a mini crisis. First time ever, he had a serious reaction to the shots. I called said I was on the way and they were ready when I got there and got Jazz out of a bad situation ASAP!

Have to give an amazingly big shoutout to Animal Medical Center & Dr. Nick Henning! Ziva had something going on with her eye on our way back to Great Bend today. It bothered me enough I knew she needed it looked at before Monday when we'd get back to MHK. Called AMC, they told us to come in as soon as we got to town & they got her right in!
She has a scratched eyeball, somehow or another. Doctor gave her some eye drops that should make my baby all better soon. Everyone there was amazing & when we do finally get to move back, I definitely know where my babies will be going for their care! Ziva & I appreciate it more than I can say

This has been a great facility to take our furry family to. The employees know our pets by name and ask about them when we are in for another's well being. I almost want to board them just to let the staff see them on a regular basis!! We recently had to have a growth removed from one of our pups and had a hard-to-heal spot involved. I took her in with a surface infection after a week and a half of home nursing, and left with just the remedy needed to feel adequate again. Thank you for taking our family in and making them a part of your own even if it is just for a bit of time.

Always love bringing my animals to AMC because everyone is so caring and helpful. My dog hurt himself and I didn't figure they would be open or able to see him with it being Christmas Eve, but they got him in, examined, and medicated for pain from acute injury so we can have a Merry Christmas. Thank you for being wonderful!

My Service Dog Sassi became ill Oct 22 with an upper respiratory infection. Then her immune system started attaching the muscles in her head, throat, and jaws. Despite their knowledge that they have had no dog survive her disorder, Drs Matt and Ty, along with Sara and many other staff members, treated her with the same prompt care and attention they show any other hospital patient - maybe even more since I've heard staff talk about crawling in and sitting with her in her kennel, petting and encouraging her!!
There are some differences in the life of a Service Dog than other dogs they see in their clinic. Some of these difference became crucial during Sassi's hospitalization, such as identifying the food and water belonged to HER and giving her permission (loosely commanding) to eat and drink, otherwise she wouldn't have, making a deadly situation worse.
They listened respectfully and willingly learned the new things Sassi needed for her care if she was going to live at all. I am proud to say that she is still alive today and doing phenomally well, although still some rough edges to smooth out before this battle is completely over. My heart goes out to them for their dedication and continued support of Sassi's recovery instead of saying there was no hope!!

Last night we had to call after hours to take our Missi in with fear that a GDV was happening. Thank goodness that was not the case! Dr. Ty came in to take X-rays of our baby and checked her out. With bloating, extreme pain and being a large bread dog, I know there were some major concerns. However, we are thankful that you came in for us last night and that it was not a GDV. Missi is doing a little better today, but still has pretty bad indigestion. We are taking steps to help her relieve herself and to be more comfortable until she can. Thank you, AMC! You are the best!
