My phone call to make a new patient appointment was great. It was handled very kind and professional, I looked forward to taking our dog in. Our first visit was yesterday. I wish it had been as great as the phone call. We were called back to a room then the person vanished; we're new and not clear on where to go. I had to ask receptionist. The veterinarian never even introduced herself.
I had to ask if she was the vet. At the end of the exam I asked if that was it, if everything was good because it didn't seem very thorough. I called the office shortly after to inquire if that was the typical new patient visit and to share an introduction would've been nice. There was a blanket apology. still don't know the name of the veterinarian. If we go back I sure hope it's better.

On their website this clinic advertises that they provide emergency treatment for their clients. If you believe this, it may cost your pet's life. I've gone there for years with several pets, so I am an established client. My cat was in dire distress, so I called the answering service at about 9:00 one evening, expecting them to return my call and tell me to get to the office NOW.
Instead after about 20 minutes Dr. Cope called and told me I'd have to take her to some emergency clinic somewhere between Delaware and Columbus (I only live about 8 minutes from their clinic, and over an hour from this place he sent me to). He didn't even ask what was wrong-only that they weren't going to do an emergency treatment for her. 3 vets, and no help. Oh, about the clinic they told me to go to? She died on the way. I wonder what they think I'm going to tell folks about their business?

Dr. Cope and his staff always provide the best care and best service to me and my dog. You are always remembered and treated like a friend every time you walk in the door. They go beyond treating and caring for your pet but do their best to educate you and keep you informed on what is happening and what is best for the health. Overall, wonderful place with wonderful people
