I would recommend A.V.C. to anyone that truly cares about their pets. The best care possible. The Vet and her associates went above and beyond to help my dog and budget.

This place is absolutely amazing. Staff genuinely cares about your pet like you can tell they enjoy their work and genuinely like animals. The doctor took the time she needed to take to make sure my dog was comfortable and explain to us her diagnosis. I honestly won't go to a different vet anymore, idk if we move, this place is awesome. I have an anxious dog and the staff was super gentle and friendly with my dog and told us some good tips to help her be better with people.

Experience was great. We visited with Charlie, who we just adopted recently. Arkle was able to set us with an appointment within a week, while other vets were at least a month out for an appointment. Dr Rox & staff were extremely knowledgeable and very patient with Charlie. Dr. Rox really took her time to educate and empower us to make good decisions for our new pet.

We recently moved to the area and had to urgently find a place to take my dog who was sick. Arkle got us in to see Dr. Jaq within hours. Every person we encountered was thorough and seemed to genuinely care about helping my dog. They took their time and took what was going on very seriously, which is exactly what I needed in a stressful situation. I'm glad to have found this vet and will be back in the future!

Brought my puppy here today for the first time. The entire staff was great and dedicated to making sure he was comfortable and had a positive experience. I was extremely pleased with the bedside manner of all the techs, the receptionist and the doctor. I look forward to bringing my dog here in the future, and plan on making my cat a patient here as well!

My pet had a bad experience with another vet care office and we came to Arkle for a second opinion. Love the care, service, and patience our older greyhound received. Their knowledge and beside manner are amazing.

We've been taking our fur babies to Arkle for a few years now and we've had nothing but amazing experiences. We have a few cats and a dog and all of them do great there. They all see Dr. Jack and she is awesome! She's so gentle and loving with our animals, I feel like she truly cares about all her patients (and their parents too!) Most recently, Arkle was VERY accommodating for a last minute request for vaccines for my dog.

Our pet sitter cancelled last minute and she was out of date on her rabies vaccine which is a no-go for kennels. After I heard there were no available appointments, I had to shop around for another vet just to give a vaccination but Arkle called me back and said they could squeeze her in. It was the quickest exam I've ever witnessed (we were in a hurry) but still extremely thorough and caring toward my dog (and me!). Thank you Arkle for being such an awesome institution and thank you to Dr. Jack and all the vet techs! We will continue to use Arkle as long as we're in the area

We were very pleased with the care, attention to detail, and kindness with which we were treated when we brought our new puppy in for his intial examination and vaccinations. Both doctors and all staff were very kind, and Dr. Rox took her time to go into detail on everything we needed to know as new puppy owners. She answered all of our questions and helped us to feel comfortable in our daily routing with our puppy. I would highly recommend this practice for other pet owners in the Smyrna area.

Whatever you do, do NOT take your pet to Arkle Veterinary Care. After what I thought and hoped was a thorough visit to check my dog's bloodwork after he had been skittish and shaky all day, I was questioned about his heart worm medication. I told the vet that I picked it up from their office, curbside due to COVID, after his appointment several months ago.

I explained they brought out the card reader, I paid and left. She kept saying "I believe you, but my records show you did not in fact pick it up and it is a prescription medication and I need to know what happened. To it." I explained again I came to pick it up curbside, someone brought it out with the card carrier, I paid, and have since been giving it to my dog monthly.

After sending her a photo of this medication from my husband, she asked me to send her my credit card statement. When my dog began to whine because we had been there nearly 3 hours, I said it's okay buddy, we're leaving soon. She then had the audacity to tell me, "See that? That's rewarding whining behavior right there." I have never been treated so outrageously by anyone, let alone someone I hoped would care for my sick animal. Please take your beloved animals literally anywhere else.

Dr. Rox and her team saved my baby Cal when he got parvo over the summer. She is lovable and excellent with pets. She tries her best to work things out for the pet, her office and the owner so everybody wins. Love her and recommend her to anyone looking for the perfect vet.

They are sooo amazing. Their entire staff will care for your pet from the moment you call in to make an appointment. They are the best!

I started using Ankle after my previous vet went out of business. I've received top notch service, everyone is pleasant, and instructions for after-care is always patiently explained. I appreciate the fact that Ankle understands the need to balance finial concerns, especially during these crazy pandemic times. They even offer financing programs if you need that. I am confident that my dog is in good hands when she is at Ankle.

Called about an emergency appointment. Was told not for 4 days. Told them the dog could be dead by then. They said sorry.

We've brought our Golden's here for a few years now. The staff is friendly and know us and our pets. Dr Rox has ALWAYS been friendly and thorough with our exams and treatment plans. We are very satisfied with the quality of care here. For those that fuss about medications, food recommendations etc. I recommend VPI pet Insurance. Have had it for 8 years and the plan and reimbursement is great and makes the stress of vet visit cost much less of a concern. Your pet gets the care they deserve and your wallet doesn't take the heavy hit.

Beware of food recommendations or a change in your heartworm medication. The flea and tick med caused us to spend thousands of dollars trying to cure a suspicious rash on our Afghan Hound. Dr Levinson and her staff are kind and wonderful. However, we had so many health issues when we changed our dog's diet and heartworm prevention. It wasn't until we spoke with our breeder that we discovered the reason for the rash was a weakened immune system caused by the inferior food and flea/tick prevention recommended by this clinic.

Once we switched back to Kirkland Dog Food and HeartGuard, we've had no problems whatsoever. Yes, Dr Rox is kind and supportive. They just need to do some research before they recommend some of these new products out there!

My Dogs get the best treatment, we get great advice, and we love how much everyone cares about our pups. I recently got. New puppy and kitten. The vet has been wonderful. She really loves animals and is helping us learn to train them better and gives great recommendations on any thing u ask about. Flexible appointments help also. Great service and staff.

We recently took our dog in for a check up after he was not feeling well and throwing up. This was our first visit to Arkle and we had high hopes based on a few reviews that we read. However, we were extremely disappointed in the way things were handled when it came to our dog's health. Obviously, it is hard to diagnosis a dog based on general symptoms but we were shocked that the DR rushed to prescribe a medication that was unnecessary ( given based on an assumption before receiving the results of a test).

We also felt that the DR was condescending and treated us as if we were first time pet owners. We were clearly concerned about our dog ( as we love him like our own child ); however, the push to give medication before actually knowing if it was beneficial along with the " prescription " food was really a red flag. In our opinion, the DR was over aggressive in her treatment plan.

The real heart breaker was when I called the very next day to notify them that our dog was still vomiting and in fact more frequently and her response was, " we are closing in 5 minutes and I can't ask my staff to stay for your dog so you can go to a 24 hour clinic or call me in the morning if he is still sick ". This was completely shocking and appalling.

I could not imagine how a Vet would be so heartless, especially knowing our situation. Ultimately, we took our dog to Chastain Animal Clinic ( Dr. Marshall). They were extremely nice and stayed late to help us get our dog on the way to recovery. They knew exactly what to do and within a few hours of our dog coming home, he was back to his old self.

This is my first Yelp review and I am never one to post any reviews. However, this experience has left us so upset and we never want any pet owner to experience what we went through at Arkle Veterinary Care. Please consider this before choosing Arkle for your dog or cat.

Dr. Levinson is amazingly thorough. There is nothing that goes unnoticed during your pet's exam. She often runs behind, but I think that's just because she spends so much time with every pet. When my family moved from that part of town, we began taking our dog to a large clinic in Alpharetta. They took our dog out of the room and did a very quick exam. We're not even sure they really examined our pet.

We decided that the drive to Arkle was worth it. Dr. Levinson spent almost 90 minutes with our dog! You can tell that she honestly loves her job and every one of her animal patients.

Very happy with the care my dog received at Arkle. The techs were great and the vet took the time to answer all my questions as well as provide me with advice regarding the care and diet of my pup. Glad I found my new vet.

We have been taking our baby here since he was 6 weeks old. We love the small town feel of Arkle and personal attention our pet gets. They are very accommodating to large dogs and willing to make modifications to devices such as E-collars to make them fit extra large dogs. We learn something new each visit in order to take better care of our dog. The entire staff is amazing and it is always nice to see familiar faces when walking in the door. I have never felt rushed or felt like I was asking too many questions. A wonderful place to go!

Doctor Roxy and her team are the best. I have been taking my dog there since she was born and have only good things to say. The staff sets my pup at ease right away, the office is clean and beautiful. You can really tell everybody there loves what they do and really cares about their patients.

We had a wonderful experience! They really went the extra mile to make our experience a step,above the rest. I feel that they do have my pets health in their best interest, giving me the information I need to make the best decisions for my pet. I really like that they don't take my pet out of the room during the visit, they handeled everything for our visit in the room with me. Very thankful for a pleasant experience!

When I moved to Marietta 2 months ago. I was lucky to find Arkle Vet Dr Rox is the best. She really smart and kind. Her staff is awesome their very couteus and helpful. Arkle is is a great vet.

Dr. Rox has cared for our cats for the last 12 years. She is dedicated and caring. She cried along with me when it was time for our almost 20 year old to cross the Rainbow Bridge. She now helps us keep our two new additions healthy and happy. Her entire Team is fantastic!!

Dr. Rox is a caring practitioner. She and her staff go consistently above and beyond. She truly has the care of our pets as her foremost priority. I would highly recommend her.

Dr Rox is quite literally the most compassionate and caring veterinarian I have ever met. When my Annabelle, dog, was diagnosed with cancer, she swiftly referred her to Cobb Emergency to have the situation assessed. She is always very up front with you when she is concerned and doesn't charge for frivolous services for the sake of a dollar. Being a vet is her calling and we are very happy to have found her when we moved here from the Midwest.
